Creating Incomplete Divinities

After getting better acquainted with the leaders of the Fallen Angels and Vali, Chojusen left to go check up on his friends. Azazel had already told him that a Chaos Dragon had been wandering across the several dimensions of this universe looking to give Chojusen a message. Chojusen met with Raikuro and subsequently found out that everyone had been transported to the Underworld.

Before leaving though, Vali revealed to everyone that he had joined the Khaos Brigade. The reveal didn't shock Azazel too badly as he knew that with Vali's personality, it was inevitable that he would want "Khaos." Vali told Chojusen that he would put in a good word for him, if he ever wanted to join them. For now, Chojusen declined as he was fast approaching his breakthrough. He bade everyone goodbye and teleported to the Underworld.

The only place he had been to previously was the Phoenix Compound, so that is where he appeared. However, unlike the chaotic battle he thought would take place, he was instead greeted with open arms as a "Young Master."

Chojusen watched as maids and butlers that stretched all the way to the horizon made way for him to go into the Phoenix Compound and talk to Lord Phoenix. As Chojusen walked through the red-carpeted hallway, he found a meek and tame Lord Phoenix in a courtyard within the Phoenix Compound.

Lord Phoenix didn't act unruly, instead he gave Chojusen a gentle and meaningful look; which honestly disturbed Chojusen, as he was still under the impression that they were enemies. Lord Phoenix said "Come here my child..."

"What. The. Fuck."

Lord Phoenix didn't mind Chojusen's "outburst," he said "Don't be so hasty to decline your father-in-law's invitation! I'm on your side!"

"Why..." This was the only word a dumbfounded Chojusen could mutter.

"You've already been accepted into my family when you took my daughter! And the Phoenix Clan's creed is that family comes before anything! Sure you might have humiliated Riser… twice, but that was my fault for raising him to think he was infallible. I also shouldn't have acted so childish back then… Anyways, I don't care if you are a Chaosfiend, you are a Phoenix Clan member first! I vow that I will give my all to protect you before those imbeciles try to mess with a Phoenix!"

Chojusen had no words, he just stared at Lord Phoenix with incredulity. Lord Phoenix wasn't trying to hide anything, he was being complete sincere and honest; at least with his guard down, that was what Chojusen could see with Essence Sensing.

Chojusen said "Uh… Thanks?"

This was unsettling…

Chojusen said "Anyways. I know that Rias and the rest of my friends are in the Gremory Territory, so could you tell me where to go?"

"That's an easy request to fulfill." He stretched out his hands and gave Chojusen a magic teleportation seal "This will take you straight to the Gremory Clan's Compound."

Chojusen took the seal, but before he left, he decided to do something for Lord Phoenix. He knew just what kind of risk his allies were taking to be on his side; they were going against several pantheons… Chojusen asked Lord Phoenix to call out Riser.

Riser was traumatized by the events of his second match; being completely obliterated would be traumatic for anyone… He fiercely rejected even seeing Chojusen as the latter had cast a shadow of doubt in his heart. However, Lord Phoenix through one method or another managed to bring Riser out.

Riser didn't dare to look into Chojusen's eyes. He started to visibly shake after Chojusen took his hand. Chojusen could tell that Riser viewed him as a deathgod from the black sea of fear that covered his figure; he didn't even have the will to get revenge.

Chojusen looked at Riser to his face and said "Look, we might have gotten off on the wrong foot before. But now… its like you father said… we're family. I promise I won't bully you if you don't make advances towards my girls. Deal?"

Riser took a quick peek at Chojusen, before his eyes darted away. In a quiet and nervous voice, he said "Sure… whatever. C-can I go now?"

"Wait a second." Chojusen took out his Boosted Gear and charged it up to the max before amplifying the effects of his Yang Rebirth and transferring its awakening powers on to Lord Phoenix and Riser. The father and son pair were immediately consumed by Demonic Yang Flames, which were then engulfed by their own Immortal Phoenix Flames.

The two layers of fire made Riser and Lord Phoenix look like they were wrapped up in cocoons, but they weren't in that state for long at all. In less than a minute, the cocoon-like flames dissipated and revealed Lord Phoenix and Riser with flame like skin. Lord Phoenix looked at his son's appearance and said "Immortal Awakening!"

This form was very rarely developed by members of the Phoenix Clan as it required the purest Phoenix bloodline, and a host that was both extremely hardworking and talented. Back when Chojusen had his rematch with Riser, the bottle that Lord Phoenix gave his son actually contained drops of his bloodline essence, which would temporarily elevate Riser's bloodline to forcefully enter that Awakened Immortal Form.

Chojusen perfecting their bloodlines put them on a completely new level of strength. Riser was now at the absolute peak of the Emperor Class and would find improving to be much easier. While Lord Phoenix who was stuck at the mid levels of the Super Class directly broke through past the Super Class entirely; he now held influence over the totality of the laws of fire.

Chojusen bade Riser and Lord Phoenix goodbye and left for the Gremory Compound. Lord Phoenix and Riser couldn't even give him their thanks before he teleported away.

Several trillion kilometers away from the Phoenix territory, Chojusen appeared before a comically large arrangement of buildings that were known as the Gremory Compound; it looked more like a city, rather than a Clan's compound. Chojusen was immediately found out, as Sirzechs had the compound under a code red lockdown.

As several hundred High and Ultimate Class Devils appeared out of thin air to seize Chojusen, a worried Rias also appeared and tackled Chojusen to the ground. She said "Where have you been! Don't you know how worried I was!" She had a stream of tears falling from her face. Rias could still remember when her brother told her that Chojusen had become a target to ALL the pantheons; even if he was only gone for a couple hours the worry and concern in her heart ate away at her tough facade.

Chojusen returned her a hug and lifted the two of them off the floor. He said "Calm down. I'm completely fine." Suddenly he was approached by several of his other partners. Sirzechs and Grayfia also made an appearance.

Sirzechs said "Now that you've come back, we're going to need to have a meeting with Serafall."

"Who?"

"Sona's sister. The current head of the Sitri Clan. Thanks to her and the Lord Pheonix, you won't be hunted down by all of the Underworld."

Chojusen quickly dispelled everyone's worries about him, and left with Sirzechs to have the suggested meeting. Serafall had already been waiting for Chojusen, so when Chojusen and Sirzechs entered the meeting room, Serafall was already seated, with her sister standing behind her.

Sirzechs and Chojusen sat down on their own chairs. Sirzechs said "Serafall, I'd like to introduce you to Chojusen. Chojusen this is Serafall."

After Sirzechs introduced Chojusen and Serafall to each other, Serafall said "Well, where do we go from here?"

Sirzechs said "Well, for starters I'd like to know if Chojusen can tell us the limits to his strength. He is after all the wild card."

Chojusen said "Me? Well, right now I can probably go above the Super Class level of strength, but I don't think I can reach the peak of the next level."

"Above the Super Class? Probably? What is the Super Class, and what do you mean by "probably"?"

"Uh… How do I explain this?"

[Just tell them you are just above the level of incomplete Divinity.]

Chojusen was startled by the system. He repeated what the system told him, bring about much shock from both Sirzechs and Serafall. To them, Incomplete Divinity was almost impossible to achieve. Perhaps Sirzechs — who already had most of his Satan Source refined — would have a chance to reach it but it was too far a goal.

"It should be at around the same level as Lord Phoenix after I unlocked his potential."

Serafall said "You what?"

"I unlocked his potential. He said something about it being the Immoral Awakening."

Serafall didn't know what to say, so Sirzechs interjected and said "Can you unlock our potential?"

"Mhmm, I don't see why not. Let me give it a try."

Chojusen took out his Boosted Gear once again and repeated the process for an Immortal level Yang Rebirth on Sirzechs. Unlike Lord Phoenix, Sirzechs wasn't consumed by any flames or energy, the only apparent change was his eyes, which now blazed with destruction laws. He was relatively unstable while his potential was unlocked, so everything he looked at started to disintegrate. Sirzechs closed his eyes lest he unintentionally erase someone from existence.

When the Boosted Gear was charged to the max once again, Chojusen unlocked Serafall's potential. Her awakening leaned more to the flashy side of the spectrum, as her body was covered in water then froze and revealed her with eyes that understood the profundity of water and ice laws.
