I seriously wonder why decapitation is considered immediate death by most people. It takes up to 10 seconds for the decapitated person to lose consciousness and 3 to 6 minutes for brain death and that's for humans and this time is shorter for smaller animals, like rodents. The question is, how can a hydra die even faster after decapitation?
You say you could never ask for a better audience but the very reason we are here is you. Your excellent story combined with your activity in not only editing, but interacting with us, is what keeps us coming back. ive seen plenty of great stories on here get dropped by the readers because the author either never interacts with the readers or because the quality drops. You have provided consistancy on not only guality but quantity too. In reality we should be the grateful ones so Thank You for providing us with the amazing story to read, and i look foreward to reading more.
