The chapter carried food for thought and a reminder on changing yourself to be a better person. I love Yujia's answer on why she couldn't change. When I first read that I skimmed past it but thinking on it right now I think it's more interesting. Personally I think there's nothing wrong with changing the fear comes from not knowing how to change or who you even want to be or who you'll change into and being unable to change back if you find you've made the wrong choice. This chapter is a nice treat. As for Zixu. I'm not sure what to think about him. I think he is a decent person but for now I think he unsettles me and I have yet to puzzle out why. It's not that you're making him an ominous character though. Great chapter and Thank you.

I can understand yujia's fear of change and not being sure about how to do things and like how to make up things for the past while also trying to move forward. It's a real conflict I must say. What I am glad about the most is that she was able to find a direction after talking to someone, man I'd love to be able to do that. I'd love to know what first step I can do to make myself change for the better and not always feel like I have to make up for things in the past or feel regret and all that kind of other things. This chapter was definitely an eye opener, and I love the advice that zixu gave to her. Damn, I think this is why I love this novel very much. You can relate to so many things and you can also learn from it. Great job on this hella awesome chapter!!!!

Yaoyueyi to us your chapters are never long-ish as they are always entertaining and sometimes they give on food for thought. I like how Zixu came up with a simple solution and her response as to why its not so simple to her to change. I also like the fact that they are now clear as to each other's identity and that its not completely set to be as such in the future. You get that he likes Yuija and always find her intriguing. hi I'm fairly new to webnovel & i must say that after reading tens of novels, i find this novel to be a refreshing change from the usual cut n paste trope. Well-written, thoughtful, realistic character development & decent plot(s) w/o getting too heavy/maudlin. Then again, I'm a fan of slow-burn & daily-life depictions so might be bit biased here. Nonetheless, most certainly an enjoyable read. TQ

I like Zixu! at least in this chapter. I wish everyone can be like him...not quick to judge, observant, straightforward, emphatetic and don't read too much into things. I like how he honestly said everything is for his benefit. 👍👍👍 Not pretentious at all.

I understand how you feel! This chapter hit home deep. Something such as change is hard to adapt and accept. Even if time will tell and can only be the hope and wording for everything. It's still harder to do than say. The FL has a lot of self doubt and self hate. I hope in the near future chapters she can find herself and love herself more.

Zixu doesn't to be interested in her as a person, more interested in her art technics, and he could benefit, I'm not impressed at the moment.
