He drives a very hard deal, and in a way a bit greedy but I am glad that Yuija is very determined to succeed. Its very tough for women in that era and even now. Married to that man she will be wasting her life away and not in comfort as concubine's have a lower status even if children came from that so called relationship are considered of little value. She does not benefit at all and what is offered is short term.
I'm glad cause at least it's not a total shutdown, he gave her a chance and I'm sure as hell she'll deliver even more than that. There's this part of me though that wants her to be independent? Like since she's already earning her own money, might as well find a different place to live in. But anywho this was a great chapter!!!!
Why didn't she just run away like her sister? She is capable to make a enough money to live a life in luxury. This plot point really doesn't make any sense to me and this is also the deciding factor to maybe drop this novel. I could overlook to have a child murderer by her side, but now things seem to pile up. Well, the story is good so far, but I can't handle the stupid decisions the MC seems to make. So, instead to earn money for herself to live a good life she will earn money for nothing? Maybe there is another reason for it, but I don't like the idea of earning money for a lot of chapters, just to give it away.
I never would have left that silver there. If she fails she will never see it again. I know she doesn’t probably care. I just hate double dealing people like him. My dad was a lot like him, So I learned to make sure I got everything in writing and I ALWAYS paid by check so I had a paper trail. Which proved very useful several times because he claimed I didn’t pay him when I did. I’m hoping the Bo family decides to make her pencils and sell them. Huge market lots of money to be made. And daddy Wang doesn’t deserve any of it.
