Tough Fight

Mu was watching Mada fight against the Unihorn saber tooth tiger with a surprised and astonishment on his face he knew how strong the Unihorn saber tooth tiger and normally only a middle stage Earthen realm cultivator can fight against, at first he was worried about Mada, and when he saw that he encountered a Unihorn saber tooth tiger which was a level 2 demonic beast and Mada getting injured he was already prepared to save him but seeing Mada utilized the Retaliating Dragon and injuring the Unihorn saber tooth tiger he was astounded with Mada's performance.

Mu looked at the scene unfolding in front of him and a thought appeared in his mind [The apple truly do not fall far from the tree.]

He drop the thought of save Mada as he continued to spectate on what will happen next. But the looked of alertness was still visible on his face as he readied himself at any moment to save Mada from danger.

Mada didn't know about Mu and even if he knew he would disregard him as he was extremely focused and was trying circulate the energy in his body to heal his injuries.

When Mada was about to move he saw the Unihorn saber tooth tiger fiercely pounced at him.

The Unihorn saber tooth tiger slashed towards Mada, the wind around its claws started becoming like a blade. The Unihorn saber tooth tiger roared and slashed downwards the energy around its body then started to gather and formed a blade made out of wind and shot out to Mada.

The wind blades sled towards the direction of Mada wanting to cut him apart, Mada saw this and immediately felt danger and immediately used the 'Shadow Steps' to dodge the incoming wind blade.

He was able to dodge it, but the wind blade still continued flying forward and only disappeared when it hit the nearby tree and cut it in half.

Mada saw this, and the thought of him getting cut down by the wind blade appeared in his mind making him feel a chill run down in his spine.

The Unihorn saber tooth tiger roared out once again as it gathered the energy around it and started to slashed down frantically as wind blades after wind blades started to appear as it slashed down as numerous wind blades started to appear making it look like a wall of wind blades.

Mada saw this his face turned dark he started to frantucally circulate the 'Shadow Steps' and tried to dodge the incoming wall of wind blades.

He appears here and there trying to dodge but he knew that it can't continue like this the energy inside his body was already starting to lessen by the second, while thinking of this he a wind blade was flying towards him and grazed his body it was not deep but there was still blood coming out from the wound.

Mada didn't panic because of this but made him even more focused, as he became more focused his movements started to change. The movement of his body was now beginning to have less unnecessary moves.

As he made less unnecessary moves his consumption of energy also became less, but the wind blades was still coming for him and it was only a matter of time when he became completely exhausted and be shredded to pieces by the wind blades even with the lessen consumption of energy.

As time pass Mada was now riddled with cuts as blood was continuously flowing out of him but he was still as focused as before, as his concentration was now in its highest state.

The Unihorn saber tooth tiger was not any better than Mada the continuous use of the wind blades needed energy and it was also about to be drained out of energy, after 3 more seconds of its continuous rains of wind blades it finally stopped the onslaught, the Unihorn saber tooth tiger was now too tired to continue sending out more.

Mada noticed the wind blades already stopped, he became happy but as he was about go and dash towards the Unihorn saber tooth tiger his body became stiff he was now almost out of energy.

Mada was exhausted he have been continuously trying to avoid the wind blades and his body was also riddle with injuries so it was natural for him to be exhausted in fact if he wasn't tired after that it would be even weirder.

Mada was looking at the Unihorn saber tooth tiger as battle intent surge out of him he knew that he can't fight anymore as the energy in his body was almost drained if he tried to fight in his condition he would most likely die so he must now try and find an opportunity to get away.

The Unihorn saber tooth tiger was also tired but it still had the capabilities to fight and finished off the human youth. The Unihorn saber tooth tiger prepared to end it once and for all, but a suppressing aura suddenly appeared out of nowhere pressing down onto the Unihorn saber tooth tiger making it unable to move and from the suppression.

Mada noticed the change in the Unihorn saber tooth tiger so without wasting any more time he tried escaping the area. Mada saw the Unihorn saber tooth tiger didn't bother chasing after him and made sighed of relief [The damage and exhaustion that the Unihorn saber tooth tiger must have been more severe than I thought.]

What Mada didn't know was that, it wasn't that the Unihorn saber tooth tiger didn't want to chase him in fact it really wanted to chase him and kill him but currently it was standing at its original position like a statue not daring to move a muscle on its body.

It was also sweating all over its body as it trembled in fear, the moment Mada started to escape it was already about to follow him but an aura suddenly started to suppress it and when it felt that boundless aura it felt that it was drowning.

Mu who was in the shadows saw that Mada have already gotten away and when he saw that the Unihorn saber tooth tiger was scared sh*tless and didn't seem to plan make any more moves on Mada he retracted his aura around it, when Mu retracted his aura the Unihorn saber tooth tiger who was a level 2 demonic beast started running for its life not caring about anything.

Mu once again looked at the direction where Mada made his escaped and started to follow him once more.

Mu was filled with praise for what Mada did in the fight with the Unihorn saber tooth tiger and as he remembered Mada's age the praise in his mind grew even more. He was sure that if Mada was given more time to mature he would become a peerless expert cultivator. As Mu thought of all this a looked of happiness flashed on his face.

Mada run through mountain as he tried to get further away as much as possible.

After a while more.

Mada stopped on top of the tree as he sat there gasping for air like it was never enough after a while he catch his breath and sat cross-legged and absorbed the energy that was in his surroundings.

When Mada opened his eyes, the sky have already turned dark he didn't know how much time have pass.

He then started to check his body for injuries but strangely enough most of shallow injuries he suffered earlier have already healed and only the claw marks on his shoulder was still healing, after checking that there wasn't any more injuries he then started to take off his torn and bloodied clothes and took out a fresh set of clothes from the bag at his waist.

He once again sat cross-legged and started checking if there was any internal injuries and when he started checking he was surprised to see that not only that there wasn't any injury but his cultivation was also improved as the energy inside his body have already reached the peak of the middle stage of Mortal realm and only needed a little more push to breakthrough to the late stage of Mortal realm.

Mada saw all of this and was filled with ecstasy from the gain he had, but as he thought of almost dying from the Unihorn saber tooth tiger he suddenly felt a chill.

He started to ponder and muttered to himself "I should avoid any level 2 demonic beasts for now, I only got lucky today so I was able to live but if that Unihorn saber tooth tiger wasn't hit by the Retaliating Dragon and was luckily injured and only used the wind blades from the start I would most be a snack for that beast."

Mada continued to think of the fight earlier, and the more he contemplated about it the more he realized how impulsive he was making him really ashamed.

Thinking about how he wanted to out and venture the world he felt that he was still lacking in order to do so and remembering his father's words about breaking through to the Earthen realm first in order to venture out he felt that his father was right.

"The continent is a big and vast there are many creatures and people stronger than this Unihorn saber tooth tiger, I have get stronger and fast." Thinking about venturing out and about how weak he was he didn't feel discourage instead he felt even more determine to go out there "There are many things out there that I haven't seen more wondrous than what I can find here."

With that thought inside his head he continued to sat cross-legged circulated the 'Origin Force' inside his body to hasten his recovery rate.

After another two days Mada's injury from the fight with the Unihorn saber tooth tiger have already completely healed and his body was in top shape, he started to get up from the tree and looked at his surroundings then he felt his hunger.

"It's been two days since I last ate better find something." Mada lightly laughed at himself and went to find something to eat.

Mada looked around the mountain and not long after he found a black striped boar which was a level 1 demonic beast, he quickly circulated the 'Origin Force' inside his body and used the 'Shadow Steps' to get closer to the black striped boar and before the black striped boar could even react Mada already used the Pouncing Dragon of the 'Dragon Stance' to hit the black striped boar as it crashed to the nearby tree dead.

Mada who executed the kill was surprised about what he did, in the past he was able to kill level 1 demonic easily like the black striped boar. But even so he had never done it this easily he remembered the fight with Unihorn saber tooth tiger and was suddenly enlightened.

"The fight brought me more than what I what I had previously thought. I guess me almost dying wants actually that bad huh?" Mada was happy from what he gained from the previous fight where he almost died, he was still quite sour from what happened but seeing the gains he got from that fight almost wanted to once again fight with the Unihorn saber tooth tiger once again.

But Mada knew that if he fought with any level 2 demonic beast once more he might not be able to come out alive like in the fight with Unihorn saber tooth tiger so he didn't dare to seek death himself.

Mada was happy black striped boar but when he felt his hunger he quickly started a fire and picked up the body of the black striped boar and placed it atop the fire. As the meat of the black striped boar was being cooked he swallowed his saliva as a look of impatience appeared on his face.
