Seriously, you're quite the culprit and criminal yourself if you don't turn your father in after something like that. He clearly killed people and she knew of it, she also knew that he became a madman, he EVEN stole the body of her mother that was supposed to be buried. She KNEW all of this but refused to do anything and just pretended that nothing was wrong. I feel no sympathy whatsoever for her. Someone like that is pretty much a horrible person already, if you'd rather plead ignorance than take action when your father becomes a f*cking mass-murdering, body-kidnapping psycho. This "filial piety" isn't something admirable. It just means that she's an accomplice for not turning in the information she has even far after her father crossed the line. She's not pitiful, she's just pathetic. You'd actually feel sorry for them or doctor gao? His experience wasn't anything truly horrible. It was bad, sure, but it wasn't to the point of justifying the craziness he possesses. He was bullied a bit by some people that felt he was responsible for something and then his wife died. So what? Just how many people haven't been in a similar situation? They would be extremely sad, frustrated and probably really down for a while, but they'd get over it and get on with their lives. But he turned into a twisted psycho with his own "justice" and screwed up morals. He's f*cked in the head. There's nothing pitiful about such people that can't even move on, instead taking it out on other people. Just how many has he killed? Hundreds? Thousands? Tens of thousands? How many of them were innocents or had just commited minor slights or "crimes"? He deserves to die or be imprisoned for life with no chance of release and his daughter almost deserves to be imprisoned for a few years because of hiding someone like that. Am I unreasonable? No, not really. This is just the truth. The author might make it seem less serious than it is by telling their sob stories, but do consider what they've done, not just whether or not something sad started the whole issue. Don't look at their reasons and logic, look at their actions and you will see just how horrible of a person that guy is.
Chen Ge had come fully prepared, and he sounded confident and strong. It was obvious that he was not kidding; he really did plan to do this. The statue still felt that something was wrong. However, after she used her power, she confirmed that what Chen Ge had said was the truth; he was not lying to her. “I will take revenge for you. Tonight, I will enter the underground morgue to capture the culprit that once harmed you.” Holy sh*t, he's so full of bullsh*t. I mean, he's not speaking any lies at all, but he's also speaking in a way that is purposely misleading. While he WILL take revenge and demand justice for her and bring along all the employees as well as risk his life, he's not doing it for her at all. She's just a side bonus that conveniently happened to be related to this. All he's really doing this for is curiosity and material rewards along with his own safety by removing a threat. As for her... Heh. Well, I do love this kind of stuff. Evil mcs are the best mcs.
