"So Eric, please tell me why I was told by the police that you were arrested for being a pedophile." Reed who sitting in the front passenger seat of a black Humvee said in cold voice as he looked at Eric using the rear view mirror. It was clear that Reed wasn't in a good mood. Beside them in the car, there was Aily who sitting in the same row of seats but sitting the farthest she could from Eric with a look of disgust on her face and the driver of the car.

" Boss, let me explain." Eric said with a frantic expression on his face. It was clear that he wanted to clear up this misunderstanding. If, the issue is a misunderstanding that is...

Reed crossed his arms and spoke with a serious demeanor "You better give me a damn good explanation, cause I swear to god, if you give me a shitty one. I'm gonna make you become Ivan's personal lab rat for a year. And I'm pretty damn sure you don't want that to happen do you?"

Eric shook his head rapidly, "No! There is no one way in hell I'm gonna be that maniac's lab rat for a whole entire year. If I become his lab rat, god knows what that maniac will do to me. Just thinking about the sorts of experiments he might use me for is giving me shivers."

"Then hurry up and start explaining," Reed was getting impatient.

"Ok, ok," Eric took a few deep breaths to calm down and began to explain. The explanation didn't take long as it took Eric a few minutes to explain what happened. But even after listening to the whole entire explanation, Reed couldn't help but feel like everything he said was completely absurd.

"So what you're trying to say is, that you found a little girl that was crying in the park you were taking a stroll of. And to help her stop crying, you gave her a flower you found planted in the ground. Am I getting correctly?" Reed asked Eric to confirm what he was saying was correct.

Eric nodded his head "Yes that's correct." Hearing the confirmation from Eric, Reed continued, "And so after calming her down, you learned that she lost her mom who went to the park with her. Hearing that she was a lost child, you wanted to her help find her mom. But before you could help her, the mom that you were about to her the girl find found you instead. And so seeing her daughter with a stranger, she thought of the worst and thought that you were a pedophile. So in panic she pointed at you and yelled pedophile in which garnered the attention of everyone around you and a group of cops that were near you. Huh, so that's how you got arrested..."

Eric nodded his head again, " Yes, that is exactly what happened. All I wanted to do was to help the little girl. But for getting out of my way to help the little girl, I was locked up behind bars for about a hour." Eric then cupped his two hands, made a begging movement with the cupped hands and said in a begging tone, "Boss, I'm begging you to believe me, you know me. You know I wouldn't dare do such a disgusting act.

Eric was being completely honest with Reed. Eric would do many thing and would admit it. But doing something so disgusting as become a child predator would just make him feel suicidal. Reed believed that Eric wouldn't dare become such a degenerate. So he believed Eric when he said he wasn't a pedophile. The only reason for all the threat Reed said to Eric was because of the embarrassment he had to endure when he entered the police station and get Eric.

Just thinking of the odd and disgusting looks he was getting from the police officers while he was in the police station to get Eric made him want to dig a whole and jump into it, never to come out ever again.

Reed let out a sigh, " I believed you from the start. You can stop all the begging."

A big smile appeared on Eric's face after hearing that Reed believed him from the start. "Thank you boss, I knew you believed me from the start! Sadly that big smile would soon turn to a face of sadness and fear

Reed then spoke, crushing Eric's seconds of happiness, "But for punishment for having me pick you up, a person that was titled as a pedophile, you'll become Ivan's lab rat for a week."

When Eric was dropped off at his home, He was greeted with Ivan with a very malicious smile. Ivan then spoke with happiness in his voice, "Boss messaged me already about the pedophile incident and don't worry I told Kendall and the rest as well. And I know your punishment is to be my lab rat for a week. So follow me, my first test is to see how many dildos can a male body hold."

Hearing what Ivan said, Eric felt a shiver course through his body tried to run away as fast as possible but before he had the chance to run, Ivan grabbed Eric by the collar of his shirt and dragged him into the house. "Please god, let me keep my sanity and my asshole intact when this whole ordeal is over," Eric prayed to god in his thoughts.

When Reed and Aily entered their home, and went to find their parent in the living room. When they entered the living room, Reed and Aily didn't see their parents, instead the saw a stranger who was sitting on the couch looking at his phone. The person was a male, about five foot nine and looked like he was in his mid twenties. He was wearing a grey suit with matching color pants, brown brogue shoes, and a gold colored watch on his left wrist.

With what he's wearing and a aura of pride surrounding them, it wouldn't be wrong to assume that he was from a prestigious family. "May I presume that you're Reed Aniston and Aily Aniston?" The man said the moment he saw Aily and Reed in the corner of his eyes.

Not anyone can come into the Aniston Family's home, Reed knew that this man wasn't a nobody but a individual who had a considerable of influence in Nova city or had considerable influence from somewhere else in the Aneis Federation.(1)

Curious of the man's identity Reed replied in a polite manner " Yes that would be us, And you would be?" The man got up from the couch and walked towards Reed and Aily and with a smile, " How rude of me, my name Charles Aniston, I'm your dads brother, making me your uncle."

Hearing that Charles was his uncle, Reed couldn't helped but feel shocked. Now taking a closer look at Charles, he could see that he and his father had some resemblance. Seeing the resemblance made and the earnest voice Charles had, Reed certainly believe that he was related to him. But why did his father never mention about him?

Now when Reed thought about it, Reed's father never talked much about his family. The only family Reed knew about was his mom's side of the family as they would visit now and then from the capital. But even though they visited to see Reed and his family, Reed didn't even know a single thing about what they do in the capital city.

Just what kind of family does his mom and dad come from?

1) Instead of Aneis, it'll be called Aneis Federation. It'll be easier to read when it's implemented in sentences. I'll go back and change it in previous chapters.

I've noticed that the world building needs a little fix. I did sort of fix it by adding it in the 2nd chapter.

The other would be how cultivation is implemented in modern society, it'll be explained in 2 chaps or so.

The way the world is in the book is how the world is today. Modern time. No future technology
