It was no wonder the Bureau Chief was so shocked. If he wanted to buy a tank or a fighter jet, that would be still within reason. But he wanted a satellite… a satellite, not a plane!
"Yes. I have too much money and no place to spend it, so I plan to buy a satellite and squander some of my fortune." It was getting really difficult to spend money now. After all, he could not really get a whole fleet of fighter jets for the two aircraft carriers, could he?
Once he finished saying that, he added another sentence, "Of course, it would be best if I could get a pair…"
Anyone ever heard of people buying satellites in pairs?
