Alliance Meeting

[Rose POV]

'Wait… go back a little to the left.'

I followed Spencer's instructions and focused my gaze on the point he asked me.

There it was… a massive and menacing aura at the east. Some time ago we figured out a way to share some of his sight enhancements with the Astral Link's Share sight.

'I'm not sure how many are them, but that's not just one aura.'

My mind was working trying to figure out how many enemies we had to face, but it was difficult to fathom the numbers with such a large amount. At least we knew that they weren't attacking yet.

'Do you know who is coming along with Blake?'

'From our group, it's only the ones already there. I don't know who he picked. Most likely Frederick and Ines are in the group thou.'

'Yeah I thought as much, it would be meaningless if you stay there just to let Hope and my brother come too.'

'Still, if things go wrong, I will go there.'

'I hope it doesn't come to that… even if you don't have any remaining symptoms from the reality attack, we don't know if there is any sequel from it.'

'You don't need to worry, I have other abilities that I can use to help.'

'Still, just focus on your investigation, we can handle this with Hayley.'

I surveyed my surroundings one more time and noticed that Green Shelter's delegation was getting near.

'Blake is here I'm going to report it to Milo.'

'Ok, Take care.'

My vision came back to normal as the auras around disappeared and the world turned back into the grey foggy world that the Astral realm was. I descent to the floor and came back to the material realm for the rest of the team to see me.

Milo noticed me right away as soon as I appeared.

"Any changes?"

"There is no signal of them attacking us yet, but I know the location and they are most likely preparing to do it soon. Also, Blake is here."

"Good, Giorgio go with Rose, tell Pinky that Blake has arrived and about what you saw."

I looked at him for a few seconds it's weird receiving orders from other people, but I knew it had to be done.

Giorgio stood up and noticed my reluctance.

"You are the one that saw it, and I can't explain that to them."

*Sight…*

I wanted to avoid talking to Pinky while here, but now I see that it's going to be impossible.

I walked up to Giorgio and went together to inform Blackie and Pinky about the situation. We are here just as support, so a large part of the attack will be taken by them.

The giant black sheep was looking in direction to the east in the same direction as the Aura that I saw.

"You already know their position?"

The sheep didn't talk.

'I always know, unless they are part of the queen bee's hive, the traitors can't cut off the connection to the network I created. I can't order them anymore, but I know where they are and their intentions.'

I tried to understand his power. It isn't like the connection that pinky created and made the rats into a one-minded swarm similar to the queen bee's hive. He was more like Dante, established a connection with their minds and got information from them, and also could order them around to some extent.

"I suppose that you already know that some reinforcements arrive?"

'Yes, I recognize the one leading them… he was in the war, but the others weren't there. I wonder if they are your hidden weapons, or if you are honest when you said that you wanted to help.'

"We want to help, but we lose a lot of people on that war too, maybe some of those faces that you recognize are no longer in our side either. Also if you don't recognize faces doesn't mean that they aren't strong… I wasn't there either."

'But you are strong, with you there the battle would have ended faster… Pinky told us about you.'

I was shocked, I really wasn't sure if I was as strong as he thought, but I also remember that I was the one that took down the other Alpha…

Giorgio was looking at the one-sided conversation filled with doubts about what was going on.

The sheep finally moved and locked his eyes with mine.

'Is the one Pinky calls "The Hero" coming?'

"I hope not… he said that he will come if something goes wrong."

Blackie closed his eyes and nodded.

'Good.'

*rustle rustle*

The sound of the grass made me turn around.

Blake was coming together with Milo and Hayley flanking him on each side. A group of rats led by a white lab rat was running in front of them.

From around the place, a semi-human bull and a goat came into view followed by other animals.

Blake looked at the giant sheep and made a slight bow to greet him and show respect.

'Is everyone from your side here?'

Blake nodded. This time the words sounded on everyone's minds.

"Yes, it may not seem too much, but we tried to bring a small group of elites."

Blackie looked at him, then Hayley and me. He seemed to understand that indeed strong individuals come to help.

A second voice sounded on our minds.

'Should we discuss how will we handle the demonic beings that are spreading corruption from the east?'

With that the discussion of how to handle the incoming battle started…

[Spencer's POV]

After cutting the link I looked at the roof for a few seconds…

'I hope everything goes well.'

I took a deep breath and got up. I wanted to relax before getting into the investigation of the stone. The morning in the clinic went as usual as I did some procedures with Isabella and Dr. Rehn's help.

After spending the morning there, I went to the library to get a couple of books. I'm not allowed to absorb them, but it's still better if I can have them with me in the afternoon.

With the time to leave getting nearer, each of us had a mission, the main one was for G to finish one or two vehicles. It's doesn't matter if they move slowly, but we need a place to sleep safely and move without getting tired, it might not be a problem for me or G, but to Sophie or Hayley might be difficult.

Hope has to get better in using her power efficiently. And the others are mostly needed to improve in general, the supplies will be taken care next month.

Me?

I have currently three tasks to complete.

The first is to figure out and create a Space stone or other kind of long-range reference to help if Green Shelter is in Danger.

The second is to use my paradox inducement again. Now that Rose is not here, I can do it freely without her stopping me. Lucy is going to tell on me right away though, but still, I need to see if I can still use it as before or if there are any important changes. At least the system doesn't seem to have changed anything, but the "debuff" from the backlash didn't appear either.

The third one was something that I noticed after I studied. The power I used when I got hurt was just as Dante described it, but that wasn't my intention when I worked on it. I didn't think much of it because I knew that Dante was right, but now I have some doubt about why it happened like that.

I remember that the origin and theory behind it made sense at the time and after I upgraded my knowledge I know that it should have made sense… but for some reason, it didn't… and the power changed when I used it. As if something prevented my paradox inducement from using those laws.

It was worth looking into it, but at the moment that was the last priority.

I spread some books around to look when I needed and took out an ordinary looking rock from a pouch.

At least it would look like this if you can't see auras.

"Let's try this again."

I focused my gaze on the rock and used visualization again.
