The Dream

Linri was walking through the forest again.

"What's going on?"

He was confused. He did not remember coming back here. Last thing he remembered was collapsing. Wait that was it he was collapsed. Once he noticed that he immediately knew where he was.

This was his 'dream'. Maybe it would be better to call it a 'prophecy'. The only problem was he should not have been here in the first place. It was still too soon.

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME SOLAS!" He was frustrated. He knew this day was going to come but not this soon. He did not even have time to adjust his mentality. This should have started when he arrived at Autumnfall.

Even though he shouted with all his might there was no answer. Honestly he did not even know if they could answer him because Solas and Lozna had nothing to do with this. It was Udcek. This was a dream world he created to see the power of the 'Chosen One'. Basically he was gonna torture and kill Linri every night from now on until his fated fight against his avatar.

When he wrote this he felt like it would be a cool foreshadowing but living through this was hell. He was already feeling bad for everything he had done to Linri's background; but now, he felt even worse. He even thought that if he was Linri he would also kill himself. Just what was this shit? Dying every night over and over again. He was even the distraction not the real 'Chosen One' in other words he did not even have to go through this.

Linri felt like giving the real 'Chosen One' a good punch in the face right now. The only problem was he did not know who he or even she was.

The forest was quiet. The usual sounds of the birds and the insects were gone. It was eerie. Linri kept walking in his pace. According to what he remembered when the sun was about to set there should be an owl appearing. So until then all he had to do was keep walking. He looked up the sun was still shining and it was noon. It was going to be a long walk. At least he would have time to mentally prepare himself for his 'death'.

While walking he kept thinking about what he knew about Udcek. Unlike Solas and Lozna he did not dwell much on Udcek because he only played a small part in Linri's background. He was a future antagonist for one of the events but before that event happened the club was shut down.

According to the small part he wrote Udcek was the God of Underworld and the Harbinger of the Anaya. Anaya was the Togk equivalent of the Judgement Day, so in other words end of the world. He was going to snuff out the Sun and eat the Moon. He had many appearances. His real body would only be revealed at the Anaya. The appearance he used in Linri's 'dream' was a skinny old man with a feather crown on his head. His eyes were white like that of a ghost's. He had a necklace made of eyes. The most disturbing thing about him was he was covered in blood from head to toe. In short he could be described as an evil ghost from a generic horror movie. If you saw him in a movie you would probably laugh at his appearance and cuss at the writer for coming up with something so 'generic'. In real life though his appearance would plague your nightmares.

Linri found his last thought 'funny' as he was currently 'dreaming'.

He thought about the fight he was gonna have with Udcek. Once he thought about the fight Linri noticed a key point. He could use his abilities here so wasn't it the perfect place for training? He suddenly had the urge to create a fire bullet and shoot the tree next to him. Then he scratched this thought. This place or rather this 'dream' was created for the sole purpose of Udcek learning his capabilities. Also torture him but this was only the secondary point. So should he really train here? In all of the 'dream' sequences he wrote fights always happened at night so Udcek must have only known about his ice ability nothing about his fire. Linri decided to keep it that way. It would not matter if he trained with fire here as most of the fights in Autumnfall happened at day.

There was also a second problem. This 'dream' usually happened at night so he could use ice here but what about fire. Did his abilities followed the time in reality or in here? Well he was about to find out as the sun had started to set. Linri felt calm. He knew that he was going to 'die' but he did not care as this was not the reality. Pain? He could always endure that or rather he 'had' to endure that otherwise his mind was going to break. Since he had accepted this reality he was not as nervous as he was at the start. The human's ability to adapt to hostile situations were always strange, or was it him that was strange? He did not know nor he cared.

Like clockwork an owl appeared in one of the trees ahead of him. It was perched on a branch and looking at Linri's eyes quietly. That was quiet a creepy sight to see. In many cultures, owls were accepted as the harbingers of bad luck. Some even claimed that whenever an owl appeared somewhere a calamity befall there. In here though, Owls were the familiars of Udcek. Through them he would look at the world and collect souls. If we were to make an analogy they were the 'Grim Reapers' of Udcek.

Linri looked back at the owl. Suddenly owl started to fly and Linri followed it. Just why did he keep writing animals as guides. It was annoying. He could not even converse with the animals so there was no way that he could gather any relevant info from them.

Once the night befell a cave appeared in front of him. The owl had lead him here and it flew inside. He knew that hell was waiting inside but he still had to go in. Because that was the only way he knew how to escape this place.
