Mingzhi's Business

Davis stepped out of his master bedroom and saw no one there.

It was quite peculiar, considering that they should know he would come out anytime soon after the kids woke up and ran away. His lips curled, wondering if they planned to allow him to choose who he wanted for the day.

Even in the hallways, no one was present, making him feel that they were all more or less in their rooms, awaiting his presence.

However, he walked out of the mansion and saw Schleya staring at the location where they last stood and almost kissed before it was accidentally interrupted by Mingzhi.

"Perfect timing."

He uttered as he appeared next to her, causing Schleya to almost jump as her heart leaped. She turned to look around, her crimson-black hair swerving along with her movement while her ears appeared to have turned red.

"I- I was just-"

"Come with me. I have a few things to do."
