3 A TRIP TO SEOUL

"Hey!! William! I need help here!" I exclaim.

I waited a few seconds for a response and huff when there isn't. Damnit... Where could he be? I start making my way to the bedroom to put a moving box inside. It was made out of cardboard, clothes folded neatly inside. However, since it was really heavy I just couldn't carry it. So I slid it with the inside of my foot, on the wooden floor.

Since the living room was right next to the bedroom, it only took five seconds for me to finish the exhausting task. Even so, a box full of clothes is very heavy! My legs are actually burning because of the weight and effort I had to put in. I sigh and slump on the bed, my arms rubbing up and down on the sheets as I do so. It's one of the bad habits I pick up where I feel the blanket when it's newly made.

"Where could you possibly be, William?" I mumble to myself.

I just couldn't deal with this. The deafening silence is too overwhelming. I roll on my side as I started to think. Hmmm... it's been five hours since I came back from teaching my classes. I sigh. Today was my first day, too. I wonder what he could be up to...

I roll back to my original position, me gazing to the purely white ceiling. I grab my phone and lift my phone in front of me. I called him four hours ago! What's taking him so long?

I call William once again and wait for a response.

"Hello?"

My eyes widened as I heard the voice on the other end of the phone.

No way!
