3 `Expect The Unexpected`

Unnie, I'm out for a tryout in the cheer leading squad later at four in the afternoon.You can just come on the soccer field and watch me perform my skills. HAHA Bye.

I informed Lu Han and especially Yeonra unnie. Informing Yeonra what, when, and where I'm going is somewhat became my routine on everything because she ridicules whenever I'm out of sight. I told you, at home, Seojoon's my manager slash bodyguard slash beloved brother while Yeonra is my brother's counterpart in school. Aren't they meant to be? Anyway, Yeonra is on her vocal class while Lu Han is out also for a tryout in Soccer along with Xiumin.

I decided to drop by the library remembering that I need a reference for my research papers. The tranquility that meets me in the library makes me want to stay there for a long time; if only that cheerleading is nothing, I wouldn't go. As I enter, I went straight to the History books section. When I found the book I need, I grabbed on it but someone was also trying to get it.

"Oh?! Omo!" I said as I tried to pull the book.

"Yah! I got the book first!" He stated and grabbed another pull. Both of us kept on pulling the book until he finally let it go. I got out of balance that made me to fall due to the heavy force. Luckily, someone had caught me on time. Phew~

"Are you okay?" he asked.

"Oh, Lu Han-ah," I smiled. "Thank you."

"What are you doing? Be careful next time, okay?" He said humbly as he helped me to stand properly.

I replied, "Ah, I will. It's just that stupid guy that tries to get this book from me. I thought you're in a soccer tryout?" Lu Han didn't get to answer your question when the other lad interrupted.

"You!" The guy shouted as he was nearing me. Both of us looked at his direction and Lu Han walked up in front, covering me. I blushed the moment he stepped in front to cover me. I don't know what to feel but my heart skips a beat.

'What the! This is the first time I feel like this. What should I do?~ Did I just shiver? I feel so protected.' I thought.

"Oh, hey there! Is there something wrong?" Lu Han asked nicely.

"Nothing with you, but something with her!" He replied.

Lu Han just gave him a smile and said, "Ah, is it the book you're talking about? Well, we can just—"

As I peeked from behind, something had hit me that I have seen him a few weeks ago. "He looks so familiar. Yes, I think I have seen him before. Think. Think. Think. Hm..." I murmured and a small crease on my forehead was formed as my lips pouted. I got surprised when I finally remembered him, "Hhh! No way..."

When he saw me, he remembered the same thing. His eyes widened as he saw that it was really me, "You stupid little brat, are you afraid to face me? Come and show me yourself." He boasted.

Lu Han turned to ask me, "Do you know him?" I just shook my head and gave the other guy a glare.

The lad grinned, "Yah! I will forget everything just give me the book. I got it first."

And now that I am irritated with him, I step in front, "Oh yeah? As if something had happened with us. I don't even know you." Lu Han got really confused about the situation. He thought that I might know the guy and I'm just in denial state or the other way around.

"Yah! You bumped into me a few weeks ago that made my documents scattered and you didn't even bother to say sorry or even bow at me. You just ran off quickly." The lad stated and crossed his arms, grinning.

I hissed, "Oh, so you just want an apology from me? Okay. I'm sorry. Are you happy? Now, the book is mine." Then I smiled widely.

Just then, when he was about to reply, someone cleared a throat, "What's with the small commotion here, students? Did you forget that you are in the library and that you must keep silence?" asked the librarian, Ms. Bae Joohyun or popularly called as Ms. Irene. I really thanked God that our new librarian was indeed a good and kind-hearted one unlike what we had last year. The former librarian was really a terror one that we can almost hold our breaths when she caught one making noise inside the library.

"He started it," I told Ms. Irene as I pointed towards the boastful lad. He hit my hand and I reacted childishly.

"Yah—" Lu Han stopped me from reacting back.

Ms. Irene just shook her head in disbelief and told us, "Whatever your problem is about, please settle it outside before going back here in the library. You see, everyone's busy studying. So please students, compose yourselves first. You're disturbing everyone." Then she smiled genuinely.

We bowed and apologized in return. The guy did the same, as well as Lu Han who tried to clear things up in a good way. As Ms. Irene went back to the counter, the pathetic lad grabbed my wrist and tried to drag me outside. Lu Han held the lad's hand tight, suggesting to let go of my hand. But the lad really is quite pissed at me so he ignored Lu Han and dragged me outside instead.

"Yah! Yah! Yah! Let go of me!" I said as I was being dragged outside the library.

The lad turned to face me and held his hand out, "The book."

I raised him a brow and crossed my arms, "Woah! Who are you, mister?!" I asked.

"Ah… Nana, why don't you—" Lu Han really tries to settle our situation but I just can't help it but to fight back.

I interrupted Lu Han, "Oppa, I got it first. There's no way I'm giving it to him. I badly need this." Then the book is being snatched from my grasp.

"Got it." The lad grinned, teasingly. Then I suddenly attacked him. I pulled his hair and hit him hard on his arms. The students surrounded us and cheered for the winner; from a small commotion to a big one. Lu Han knows that I won't ever listen to him so he called Yeonra. Exactly before Yeonra answered Lu Han's call, someone had told her already.

Note: If ever you have watched Moon Lovers – Scarlet Heart: Ryeo, the scene is same with the 10th Prince Wang Eun and Hae Soo's confrontation, when they had a little fight about Prince Wang Eun allegedly peaking on her servant while changing clothes.

"Yeonra-ssi, are you off from your class? You need to be here in front of the library quick." Lu Han said on the line.

Yeonra hummed, "I'm on my way there." Yeonra sighed and hurried up.

As she came, she shooed everyone that surrounds the two of us, "Yah! Go get your ass off from here. Go back to your class." She rolled her eyes before grabbing my shirt behind, pulling me away from the guy. Lu Han helped the other to stay away.

Yeonra started to confront me, "Yah! What's gotten into your mind and you pulled off a fight with a guy? Aish… you jerk!" She feigned to hit me and I avoided it.

"Yeonra unnie, he's the one who started it!" I complained in a little bit childish way as I pointed at the guy.

"No matter whom it was. Just give me a valid reason in doing so." A small crease on her forehead was written as she crossed her arms.

I furrowed my eyebrows as I glanced to the boastful guy and back to Yeonra, "A book. It's because of a book." Then I straightened up and crossed my arms.

Yeonra got her mouth open in surprise because of my reason. She inhaled heavily, "Do you think that's a valid reason? Ay… why are you so childish, huh, Park Seohyun?!" She just scratched her head and didn't know what to do.

"Unnie, he stole the book from me. He really started the fight, not me." I said.

"Oh yeah? You're the one who started it! You stole the book from me." He replied.

"Enough! Will you? You're just—" Yeonra stopped the moment she recognized the guy.

"Byun Baekhyun?" "Jung Yeonra?"

"Baekhyun-ahhhhhhhhh!" Yeonra shouted and ran towards Baekhyun and welcomed him with a hug. The scene just left me and Lu Han dumbfounded. There's the cricket sound and the blows of the wind.

"Unnie, you know him?" I asked and she nodded.

Baekhyun looked at me with a grin but I, still being the stubborn one, only give him a death glare. Lu Han held out his hand for a handshake in meeting with Baekhyun. Lu Han apologized for what I have done to him a while ago and he just smiled and gave Lu Han a shoulder bump as if they knew each other long time ago.

"Unnie, would you mind introducing him?"

Yeonra cleared her throat, "Don't you remember him?" I just shook my head in response.

"Ah, Seohyun-ah, he's Baekhyun, my cousin. Baekhyun-ah, she's Seohyun, my gorgeous best friend."

'Yeonra unnie's cousin?! Oh my goodness, I'm doomed!! This two would probably kill me. I know Yeonra very well. If she gets along with a certain person and marks him or her as her friend, they definitely have the same attitude and interests and the likes. They are incredibly partners in crime!' I squealed and ruffled my hair mentally.

"Gorgeous, eh?" He glanced back to Yeonra.

"Nice meeting you, babo!" I just looked at him blankly.

'How dare you call me 'Babo'? Are we even close? Ugh -__-' I thought.

"You really don't remember him, do you? He's the one who hid your shoes and you went home barefooted. And you did the same thing to him, what you did now, when you got the chance to take revenge."

I pouted and tried to comprehend everything. My eyes widened as I remembered him doing that thing to me. He made me cry to the point that I told my Mom about it and she rushed to confront him. He's lucky he didn't get to meet Seojoon oppa that time because he was in school. I felt a bit embarrassed today so I unconsciously hit Baekhyun's shoulder.

"Ah! So you're Nana?" Baekhyun asked out in surprise. Baekhyun really didn't know that my real name is Seohyun because during our childhood years, Yeonra keeps on calling me by my nickname and never heard 'Seohyun' and so he thought that was the real one.

"Yes," I replied sternly and glared at him.

"Omo! I didn't even recognize you. You are really gorgeous." He commented as he covered his mouth in awe.

"Yes so enough complimenting me. You might fall in love." I joked, keeping a poker face. Baekhyun put his left arm around my shoulder and patted my head as he tickled my sides that made me to laugh loudly, forgetting about the argument with the book for a while. Yeonra and Lu Han just laughed at us.

"It's been a long time. I just knew your real name today, thought it was really 'Nana'. I don't remember Yeonra called you 'Seohyun', not even once."

"Now that you two are okay, let's go eat! Baekhyun's treat!" Yeonra exclaimed.

I blocked her with my hand and gave her a serious look, "We're still not okay, you know," and showed her the book we're arguing. She rolls her eyes and drops her shoulder in frustration.

Lu Han cleared his throat, "Uhm, you know, I really want to say this to you a while ago. Really." Then our heads turn towards Lu Han, telling him to say it.

"There's a lot of copies of that book in the library. It just so happen that both of you, Nana, Baekhyun, didn't try to listen to me and start arguing about it and ended up fighting." He continued. Yeonra shook her head in disbelief and hit my head lightly. I pouted.

"You shouldn't have pulled off a fight!" she gritted her teeth and continued, "You should have checked it first!" and then she rolled her eyes.

"Nah, it's okay, Yeong. It's my fault rather. Hmm, let's go eat, then?" Baekhyun asked, breaking the ice. We all headed towards the café and ordered our meals. Baekhyun was paying at the counter when someone approached him and handed him white camellia flowers.

"Excuse me, are you friends with Seohyun?" a student asked that startled Baekhyun a bit. He nodded in response.

"I'm sorry to bother you, but can you give these flowers to Seohyun? Someone just asked me to do him a favor." Baekhyun chuckled and took the flowers from the girl. He smiled, reading the small note. He made his way to our table with the food.

He gave my food along with flowers and commented, "What do we have here? You got your admirer already or should I say a stalker?" I just look at him confused and read the note on the flowers.

"Oh, why?" Yeonra asked.

"Ask her." He retorted.

'You look adorable when you're angry.' It says.

"You look adorable when you're angry." Lu Han have said it aloud. Yeonra and Baekhyun choked on their food hearing those words. This made me to blush in embarrassment and hit Lu Han's arm in return as they all laughed at me.

After having a small talk with my gang, they accompanied me to my cheerleading audition at four in the afternoon and cheered for me. The results of our audition will be announced on both our official school website and to be posted on the bulletin. The day ended up in hype, thanks to the new comer, Byun Baekhyun. I went home and go straight to my room. To my surprise, Seojoon oppa was in there, changing the water in the flower vase where I compile the flowers given to me from my "admirers". I smiled and thanked him for doing so.

"Baby, it seems like you got a bunch of admirers, don't you?"

I blushed and retorted, "How'd you know?"

"Different flowers every day?" He laughed.

"Hm… I don't think they are from a different person. The penmanship on its notes is still the same i you would compare. So I guess it's the same person." I smiled at him as I was arranging the flowers.

Seojoon only nodded and kissed my forehead as he took me into his embrace, "Your future man should pass first my extreme examination before he becomes officially your boyfriend. He should be prepared for it." He said. I know he is only joking but I sighed in agreement while he swayed me. What else can I do? I know that he's only protecting me. If ever this 'admirer' of mine gets to meet me in person and asks me to be his girlfriend, Seojoon oppa and Yeonra unnie would definitely look like an investigator to its finest!
