Murdered By Tentacles

A non-human figure could be seen walking towards the man and his screams became louder with each step the figure took. RChen Yanoland strained his eyes in an effort to get even the slightest glint of the figure.

The village was dimly lit, making it rather difficult as only a few torches were lit. Neither was the moon of any help as it was slightly overcast. He released a sigh, closed his eyes and massaged them lightly to reduce the pain he was feeling.

He re-opened his eyes and instinctively covered his crotch.

'What. On. Earth. Is. Happening?'

The figure stood before the young man at an angle where Chen Yan had a clear view of what was taking place.

'How convenient' he remarked sarcastically.

A large, deformed beast was using what appeared to be tentacles as that of an octopus to grope what should be a man's best friend. Its victim's face contorted into one of fear, disgust and pleasure simultaneously.

Soon enough the young man's whimpers echoed throughout the village and reached Roland's ear. He turned his face away and gagged until he felt as though his stomach was in his mouth before looking back at the scene.

The beast, with its tentacle firmly held in place, moved behind the young man whose eyes bulged out upon realization of what was happening.

"NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO. Kill me instead" he begged.

The beast adjusted the chains and tilted the young man over.

Another tentacle popped up.

Chen Yan's eyes almost popped out from its sockets, as did the young man's.

"Ah!" his screamed stirred up Chen Yan's nerves causing him to be temporarily paralyzed on the spot.

"Your highness?" a knock sounded out from the door accompanied by Barov's voice.

The door opened as the malnourished figure walked in. He stared at Chen Yan, his brows knitted in confusion before he looked around him and through the window where his eyes landed up the gruesome scene.

He jumped in fright and quickly made his way over to the window and pulling the curtains, blocking the scene from Chen Yan's eyes.

He touched Chen Yan's figure and shook him with the little strength he could muster.

"Y-y-y-your highness" he stammered. He continuously shook him until his body twitched.

It took Chen Yan roughly two full hours before he was able to calm himself down and open his mouth and speak.

"W-w-water" his voice was a bit weak and sounded hoarse.

Barov took up a cup which was placed on the bed side table and placed the cup by Chen Yan's mouth.

He sipped on the water and suddenly choked as a thought popped up in his head;

'Is your trunk filled with holy water?'

He looked at the cup of water and shuddered as a rather risqué image popped up in his head.

'Unsee, unsee, unsee, unsee, unsee, unsee, unsee...' he chanted over and over in his head.

"D-did you remember?"

Barov's sudden question threw him off a bit but, knowing that he wouldn't receive a response unless he was knowledgeable about a particular issue he maintained a straight face which caused Barov to feel uneasy.

His face morphed into varying expressions. He seemed to be having an internal battle.

After a period of silence, he opened his mouth and spoke;

"I didn't tell you because it had a huge impact on you at that time. You were in such a bad shape and we barely managed to get you to recover. Luckily you lost your memories because; I knew you would probably kill yourself if you had remembered the events that transpired that night.

I wanted to hide it from you as long as I possibly could and even tried my best at hiding my emotions to not arouse any suspicions you might've had. But who would've thought that you would've seen such a thing, thereby triggering your memories".

He released a sigh as though a load had been removed from his shoulders.

'Trigger memories?? I don't like where this is going'.

"Had I done my job properly, you wouldn't have ended up being taken by that th-th-th-thing".

He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth.

"Had I done my job you wouldn't have been murdered by those damned tentacles.
