After thinking it over, Jim opened the shop, the numbers in the top right were [3, 6, 2800], "I see, so that's how it is", Gaining a new skill granted another 10 points, but another 100 points had appeared too, it seems reaching max level in a skill grants an additional 100 points each, but Willpower hadn't added any, nor did it grant a 'Skill Max Gift Pack', he guessed it was due to only having one level, so it wasn't considered a feat.
Jim had now read 90% of the available books in the library, after arriving here this morning he had tested Distant Reading and was shocked, it didn't let him see a book clearly from afar, he literally didn't need to touch a book to read it, just focusing on a book allowed him to read the contents, the range he could do this was originally only a few meters away, but as the level rose he began to feel he could search the entire library's contents from outside. He began wondering if this counted as a psychic power, the large utility increase was stunning, and further fueled his desire to train his skills.

Jim tried it out, he decided to read two books at once, it worked perfectly, he tried three, but failed, it seems his limit is two, currently.

After finishing up all the books in the library, Jim was a bit downhearted at not gaining another derivation skill, he found himself able to concentrate on reading five books at once, six if he pushed himself. After leaving, he tested the range of Distant Reading while walking away, finding himself able to access the books at the deepest part of the library despite being a city block away, he was extremely impressed with this skill, the only problem being he can't use it for anything but reading books, Jim was hopeful the derived skill would allow him to study anything from afar, no use crying over spilt milk.
