"Many Brighters are, though they come from a faction that is at odds with Rubarthan culture."] [Officially speaking, Ves was not a first-class citizen and certainly not a Rubarthan. Trying to rely on his ancient blood ties to the Empire to get into the good graces of the Rubarthans was impossible!] Given what we have read about the Larkenson descendants, their lineage dates back before the current Star Emperor to the old dynasty. The Larkensons may be genetically different from other Brighters if the trace their heritage to royal bloodlines. What if Ves can trace his bloodline to an immediate heir of the Rubarthans royalty… his mother was from a First-rater society, what if she was a runaway Princess escaping from persecution by other Royal family for stealing the Metal Scroll. It would be an awesome twist if Ves was a lost Rubarthan Prince. I’m certain that the royals have means of verifying their own and if they lost the Metal Scroll would keep that fact a royal secret while searching for it. While I would love to see this idea have merit… Ves would gain more enemies than the 5SC. For that reason I hope Ves never gets on their radar until he’s powerful enough to stand as superior to the other Princes. For that reason alone, I recommend Red Ocean Union as the only Alliance that doesn’t lead towards immediate issues in his future until he grows into a Star Designer nobody dares to confront head on. All hail Prince Ves! The prince who desperating needs backing… don’t make me explain my gif choice 😂
