21 And The Winner Is...

" One flip, two flips, three flips and perfect landing! Black Tiger killed it!" yelled the animator.

After getting off the scene, pearls of sweat were gliding on Ting Mei's forehead. She didn't have a towel so she wiped her dripping sweat with her T-Shirt revealing her beautiful white skin, causing an uproar in the excited audience.

The competition was held at a very popular bar in the city, leading to the big amount of clients becoming the audience. The audience was mostly composed of females while only a small portion were men. Black Tiger was obviously more popular than Hao Mei and easily won over the audience but the judges were harder to impress.

The judging panel was composed of a famous DJ player in town, the owner of the bar and his wife. Being in this business for so long by owning a bar with a dance floor, they were definitely harder to please but by quick analyze, Ting Mei quickly switched her choreography according to what the judges were pleased to watch.

On the other hand, Hao Mei was extremely fluid in her movements, showing off her great flexibility. Hao Mei was definitely a pretty girl but compared to Ting Mei: she was nothing. Even worst, she was in a male outfit, making her even more dangerously attractive to the public.

Not only that but in hip-hop, it wasn't very hard to incorporate flexibility tricks, burying Hoa Mei's flexibility.

" If a hip-hop dancer could also be this flexible, what is so special about Hao Mei? " thought the audience.

Ting Mei was already 100% sure to win this contest.

" May I ask the two participants to stand in front of the judging panel." said the animator.

Both slowly stepped forward, standing next to each other with a cold expression.

" You only know how to do flips. What's so special about it?" mumbled her opponent near Ting Mei.

Ting Mei couldn't help but laugh: she really met an arrogant and cliche antagonist in real life, she was truly unlucky as always.

" Sweetie, you don't want to see me dance contemporary or you'll start crying." replied playfully Ting Mei.

" Yeah, I'll definitely start crying when I will be laughing like crazy at your face!" said smugly, Hao Mei.

" Sorry, my sentence wasn't complete, you'll start crying in pity for your own skills." continued Ting Mei in a cold tone.

Ting Mei never liked to look down on others and she didn't want to, but this was a competition and she fairly had the upper hand. If she couldn't accept her defeat than she would just be considered as a sore loser but she decided to insult her hip-hop dancing by saying it's only flips. She would never forgive her for insulting one of her friend's passion.

In military school, everything was extremely elite so they didn't have much leisure time but when it came down to have fun, everyone would go all out. Dressed as a boy, she would often hang out with other boys and they would teach her to dance breakdance and hip-hop. Especially one of her friends, he was extremely into dancing and wanted to make a career of it.

Till this day, she still remembered his words: " I don't care if they don't see the beauty of dance because one day I'll be the one to show them! Like if they don't see the beauty in someone, I'll be the one to show them."

Ting Mei couldn't help but smile thinking about his words. That's right, if people don't like you then they don't have to, you just have to show them why they should and to make them regret.

" You...you...you!" staggered Hao Mei.

" Me what? Don't worry I won't eat you, you are not my type!" laughed Ting Mei.

" We will now announce the winner!" shouted the animator, cutting off Hao Mei's next sentence.

Suspenful music in the back, fidgeting audience and sweat beads on Hao Mei's forehead. The atmosphere is tense but only Ting Mei seemed completely unfazed.

" The winner of this competition is..." said the animator, leaving the name in suspense.

" Black Tiger!" yelled the animator.
