A magician roams across the lands of the Aether unhindered, slaughtered unstopped, and lived undyingly. Neither Good nor Bad for he destroys all! However the higher one is, not only is the fall harder, but the peak itself is narrower. He dies in blazing glory, facing against an army of both Gods and Devils together. But for someone of his stature, could he really die? He soon wakes up and finds himself staring at a baby, only to realize it's a mirror. However, that is the least of his worries, as where he is no longer a land where magic and spells ruled. Where he is now is the continent of Adia, the land of immortal cultivation!
It was [13067 W.E.] (Warring Era) on the Planet of Aether.
In this world, the 13 Kingdoms of Light of the Northern Continent allied to fight the Chaotic Army of Hell's Castle. This is the classic confrontation between Light and Dark that has existed no matter the place or time. But in this world, the forces of magic reigns and Mages are the supreme power. The mages utilize essences that are spread throughout the world like the air itself.

There are two main essences, the [Essence of Order] and the [Essence of Chaos]. Each of these is created by an origin of which only two exists, one created by the First God of Order and the other by the First Devil of Chaos. Each creating their respective Origins. As such, the mages of the Kingdoms of Light practice the [Essence of Order] whereas the Chaotic Army surprisingly practice [Essence of Chaos]. However, as their war escalates, they are like mantises stalking the cicada, completely unaware of the oriole behind. Or in this case, the dragon.

Little known to the masses, the real reason these origins were created was to protect them from a third essence, the first and the true essence of the world. This essence is the [Essence of Aether], or [Mana]. It is a wild and violent essence that has no origin and is created by the world itself. It caused young wizards who do not have enough willpower or control, to suddenly go berzerk killing them; or worse, turning them into beasts causing mayhem throughout Aether. The two Origins were created by the two First Gods, to convert this [Mana] and tame it, turning it into the two main essences, soon draining it from the world, and leaving only the two.

Amongst the wars between the two major powers, a peasant named Regalus Avastra discovers [Mana] and the truth of the world. Unlike the usual path of the mage, where spells and meditations have already been established, he started at square one, without the books or research passed down from the previous generation, as there were none. Regalus created his own meditation method and his own spells, all of which he had excruciatingly advanced to perfection, surpassing all in terms of everything that has or probably will have existed. In just a mere 700 years, he secretly became not only the first Archmage Master of [Mana] but also became the First God of [Mana], an existence, not equivalent, but surpassing the First God of [Order] and the First God of [Chaos].

He launched a surprise attack against both the 13 Kingdoms of Light and Hell's Castle, simultaneously destroyed the City of Aea, the capital of the 13 Kingdoms, and the City of Hell's Throne, the capital of Hell's Castle. In these capitals were where the Origins were located, and thus, they were destroyed along with the cities. When both the Origins were destroyed, a sudden increase in the violent [Mana] and massive decrease in the two Essences were caused. As a result, many wizards, most of which don't even know [Mana] exists, went berserk causing widespread damage and causalities to both Light and Dark. In a mere month, the 13 Kingdoms, which stood since the conception of time, collapsed. Hell's Castle that stood even before time's conception followed suit and fell as well. It was a disaster that set back the entirety of civilization thousands of years back. With the destruction of the Origins, the [Essence of Order] and the [Essence of Chaos] soon dissipated. Heaven, without the support of these magics, fell and Hell rose.

However, Heaven and Hell did not fight against each other. Now the factions that once opposed each other met under a single banner; demons and saints fought on the same side for the first time since the [Titan Era] and created a new Kingdom under the bland name of The Alliance. It took 500 years until they recovered. Wizards, now practice the ancient [Mana] and despite being relatively new to it, they had already become stronger than their previous selves. Sages had marked that year as a new era. It is now the first year of the new Rebirth Era.

Having recuperated, the Alliance now wages war against the man that started it all. Neither evil nor good, but rather represented War itself; a one man, not an army, but a Kingdom, Archmage Regalus Avastra. And that's not even counting his familiars!

The Archmage, his 10 familiars, and his army of 500 [Mana Dragons], 100 [Mana Generals], and 100,000 [Mana Soldiers] and The Alliance's army of billions, consisting of Gods, Devils, Demons, Saints, Angels, Dragons, Demihumans, Humans, and a myriad more beings met on the battlefield. However, the Archmage's skill prowess in this summons far surpasses logic, he can summon as many [Mana Dragons] or [Mana Generals] as much as they die, after all, he invented the spell in the first place. So despite the massive numerical advantage of The Alliance, they are actually on equal terms.

As such 2838 years had passed on the battlefield. Mountains which have once proudly peaked over the earth now lay flat, where there was once a glacier now flow lava, where there was once a volcano now lay a lake. And even now, meteors fall, waters flood and fire still blaze forth in a 3,000-year symphony of war. However, no matter how powerful one is, Regalus Avastra is still just one being. To make this long story not even longer, the greatest Archmage that ever lived, died fighting against the entirety of creation.

However, how could the Archmage not have any life-saving plans? He activated his last resort, a spell that breaks through life and death, sealing his soul and consciousness. If he is to be reborn, he will retain his consciousness, allowing him to regain his previous power and continue to wreak havoc.

Far far away, and a bit farther than that, lay a mountain range. In the mountains inside a grand manor, a baby is born. The baby is cleaned and wrapped in cloth by a servant as the mother tenderly holds the baby. The cute baby opens his curious eyes as his head turns towards a mirror on a nearby wall. His parents coo at him and remark at how cute and innocent he is. However, under the seemingly innocent, sky blue eyes of the baby, he seems to have already developed intelligence! The baby at this moment thought to himself;
