Faruth had just named his village and gained arguably a similar reward to upgrading his village to the next rank. He supposed that naming his village was a one time thing however. Along with the increase in his Stats, he put the 2 SP into the skill [Wind Rush], bringing it up to level 3. As he found when upgrading it, it increased the speed of his physical attacks by an extra 2% per level, bringing it from 5% at level 1 to 9% at level 3. It may sound like a small increase, but as his Stats increased, it would make a major difference in his fighting style.

After he put the SP into his skill, he decided to check the new skill that he had gained, [Warriors Aura]. Faruth read its description for a while before coming to a realisation. It synergised extremely well with the [Buddhism] skill. [Warriors Aura] increased the strength of his Aura by 5% at the first level.

After some testing, he found that it stacked alongside the bonus brought on by adding aura to his attacks through [Buddhism]. By adding basic aura, it amplified the damage of his attacks by a static 10%. However, if he added the skill [Warriors Aura] along with it, it increased the added damage to 15%, greatly boosting the strength of his attacks.

Moving on from his own status, he opened the village menu to see the new additions brought on by upgrading his totem.

First, Faruth wanted to see the new additions to the building schematics. They would either make or break how he ran his village from now on. Opening, the [[Structures]] tab, it showed all of the basic Tier 1 buildings that he had already unlocked the schematics for, but underneath, the list had expanded, showing the new Tier 2 buildings.

There were fewer buildings than in the first tier, but Faruth could tell that they had a much higher quality. He already had an alchemist in his village, so he could make use of that almost immediately. The barracks could accommodate the new soldiers without the need to build extra houses, Klein could make his work easier by hiring masons and Drungni had a space for him to tinker and create things for the village.

Though he didn't know the requirements to build them quite yet, when he did, they would integrate with his village seamlessly, exactly what he wanted. He put the idea in the back of his head to bring up the new buildings to Klein during the next meeting and switched to the [[Positions]] tab instead.

As he predicted, there was a new title relating to the military. [General]. Similar to the title of Elder, the title obviously signified a high position in their respective areas, though this one was the military and not civil affairs. It gave the recipient a skill similar to the one that he had just received when naming his village, [General's Aura]. However, the [General's Aura] skill only gave a 3% bonus to aura, which, without also knowing the [Buddhism] skill, or skills related to that, could only be used to intimidate. Faruth knew that he had to teach the 4 General's the skill fast to make the best use of it.

Along with this, it also gave the recipient +2 to all Stats but that was the least important part of the title. Unhesitatingly, he gave the 4 the [General] title, solidifying their position within the village. After testing around with his new skills, he returned to the meeting room and conversed with the new Generals. Before he knew it an hour had passed and the three elders returned to the meeting room with results about the interview.

**********************************************************

The 'meeting' was over fast, leaving Faruth to think about the roles of the new villagers. Of the 23 Gnolls, 4 were women that couldn't work on anything particularly physical, so Faruth decided to put them with the others that make miscellaneous things for the village when they are needed, bringing the count down to 19. From these 19, 3 were children who were placed with their parents, along with the other children, bringing the count down to 17.

Amongst these 17, 8 were women and 9 were men. Amongst the women, 2 had the skills for hunting, 3 had the skills for farming, 1 had the skill for alchemy and 2 had skill as soldiers. Amongst the men, 1 had skills for hunting, 2 had skills for farming, 1 had a skill in magic, 2 were skilled masons and 3 were skilled soldiers.

Bringing the final total to, 3 hunters, 5 farmers, 1 alchemist, 1 mage, 2 carpenters and 5 soldiers. On top of the Gnolls, there were also the 4 remaining Goblins after Gobudama and the others got into an 'accident' with magic beasts. 3 of the Goblins were fit to be soldiers, though they were still weak at this point, barley enough to be classified as a 'soldier'. The other Goblin was not suited for fighting however, instead, he was able to create and tinker with things, similarly to Drungni, so Faruth placed the two together.

He also decided that they would hold another meeting tomorrow to decide who would be placed under who. As a replacement today, Faruth would test the new soldiers, to see who he would put them under.

**********************************************************

After gathering them all to the meeting room, Faruth used [Appraisal] on each member of the group individually to find out their strengths and weaknesses. There were 8 soldiers in total, meaning that 2 would be placed with each of the new Generals. The only two female soldiers were to be placed under Alneth, as their fighting style was close combat, similarly to his.

1 Goblin and 1 Gnoll would be placed under Marth, as they showed the most promise amongst them with their speed and Agility. 2 Gnolls that showed the most talent in strength were placed under Rath, while the two that showed the most talent when it came to endurance were given to Drath, completing their new official fighting force.

Though in times of battle, people like the two elders, Wulfarth and Grimanth may join in the fight, they now had a structured military that would receive training based on their specialities.

**********************************************************

The new military looked something like this:

Faruth: Leader

Alneth: 2 Female Gnolls.

Marth: 1 Male Goblin, 1 Male Gnoll.

Rath: 2 Male Gnolls.

Drath: 1 Female Goblin, 1 Male Gnoll.
