10 Cassie?

Alex called Gabby after reading her text. Gabby answered the phone call anxiously which makes her worried. What could have happened to her sister?

"Alex?" Gabby answered trembling.

"Why? What happened? I thought you're going to follow us here. Why do you sound so nervous all of a sudden?"

"Nothing, I'm fine. I just saw someone anyways I'm not going there anymore. But, I'll be bothering you to buy a book for me." Gabby changed her decision the last minute.

"No problem, what is it?"

"It's the book that I planned to buy downtown but unfortunately it's unavailable. It's a limited edition of the Harry Potter series."

"Got it!"

"Oh…what a coincidence, Cassie is buying the book also. I'll just ask her to grab a copy for you too. By the way, we'll be watching a movie later, so I won't be eating dinner at the house." Alex added then texted Cassie who was already at the bookstore.

"Okay, thank you and take care." Gabby then hang up the phone.

Gabby heaved a sigh of relief, she was too shocked on what had happened a while ago. Luckily her reflexes were fast because if not, the guy would surely catch up to her. She then closed her eyes and lay her head at the headboard and finally relax her tensed body.

On the other hand, Cassie and Alex was already falling in line to watch a movie. While waiting, Cassie passed the book that Gabby requested to Alex.

"We really do have the same test in book!" Cassie exclaimed. "I suddenly miss Gabby, even though you both have the same face. I miss having a girl time with her. Also, it's been a while that I've seen you both together." Cassie added.

"As if you don't know her, she would rather read books in her room instead of going outside. Other than that, she'll just go outside if it requires her."

Cassie nodded and agreed to her because that was really the case. Gabby rarely goes out, that's why most of their cousins think that Gabby is a snob. Thus, only few of them was closed with Gabby.

"How about you stay at the house for tonight instead of staying at aunt's condo?" Alex followed up.

"My things are already at mom's condo, it will be hard for the both us if we were to go there and go to your house. It's a waste of time."

They went inside the cinema as the guard let them go already They went straight to their designated seat and settled themselves while waiting for the movie to start.

The movie was about to start when Alex suddenly poked her.

"Why?" She asked quietly since the movie was about the start. They are also inside the cinema, so they need to minimize the volume of their voice.

"I'm having a dysmenorrhea. I'll be going now!" Alex replied while clutching at her abdomen.

"Do you want me to go with you?" She asked. After all, they are both girls and she knew how painful it was. It feels like your body is ripping away from each other.

"No need, I can still handle it." Alex replied while waving her hands. "You continue watching this movie, it will be a waste of money if we both leave" Alex added.

Cassie nodded and signaled to Alex to call her when she got home. She also mouthed 'be careful' to her.

Alex left after bidding a goodbye to Cassie. Then, Cassie decided that she should enjoy the

movie by herself.

After watching the whole movie, she didn't go straight outside the cinema. She waited until the people going outside lessen to avoid the slight stampede that is always happening when a movie ended.

She didn't expect that as soon as she went out, she will be seeing Miguel. She knew him because they went in the same school and this guy was somehow has a connection with the twins. She was planning to pass by him and act like she didn't see him, but Miguel suddenly called her.

"Cassie?" She was contemplating to look at him or act like she didn't heard him and just go away when suddenly Miguel appeared before her. She smiled since he was already cornered by him.

She's been avoiding him since the complication between him and the twins happened. She didn't expect that they will see each other here.

She then thought that Alex's dysmenorrhea was a good thing because if Alex were to finish the movie as well, there's a big chance that they will bump into each other as well just like her situation now.

"It's really you! I thought I was imagining things. How have you been? Also, what's bring you here?" Cassie sneered when he heard what he said, she also hoped hat she was just imagining things but she's not.

"I'm fine as usual. I was just around the area when I decided to watch a movie, so I went here."

"Oh…are they also here?" Cassie personally don't like to answer his questions, she doesn't want to get involved with it anymore.

"I mean, the twins. Are they also here?' He repeated his question, so Cassie just gave him a brief answer. She can't disregard the possibility that he might suspect that something was amiss when she didn't answer his question. He's a smart guy after all.

"No, they're not. By the way, I must go now, I still have to do some things." She made an excuse to leave already and was lucky that he bites it.

Due to their encounter, Cassie was contemplating whether she should tell the twins or not that he's here.
