6 Awakening the Veins - Stimulating the World Dao

Ao Rai sat down and began to recall memories from one of his past lives, the world champion Heavyweight boxer dubbed Josh 'Pyro' Trent. At a young age his entire family was burnt to death in their family home, while he was out with his friends.

Upon arriving home and seeing this horrific sight he broke down, being only 15 at the time, and got addicted to drugs, turning him to a life of crime, in which he went to jail for a brief stint at the age of 18 till he was 19.

Upon leaving prison and becoming reformed, he realised that there was more to life than escapism from a traumatic childhood, so he decided to become a businessman. This failed, miserably. By the time Josh was 21 he was shit broke from his failed business endeavours, however his future mentor and saviour, known as Jak Wyn, found him homeless on the street and offered to teach him how to box. This was an incredible opportunity for Josh and he began to train hard, putting all his effort in to become a good fighter, to give himself a reason to live. By the age of 23, he was pulling his weight in amateur boxing leagues, however the night before his first professional fight, his mentor Jak Wyn died in a car accident leaving him crushed, and the next day he was knocked out in the 3rd round.

Upon waking up in the hospital, Josh felt as if he had let down his mentor and took a vow to become a better boxer, no the best boxer in the world, and crush anyone who fought him, as homage to the memory of Jak who believed him even after he became broke.

As soon as Ao Rai got to this point in his memories he suddenly broke out in a sweat, as he felt his heart rate rise and almost instantaneously, an incredible surging power broke out throughout his entire body, and a golden/turquoise light shot out from the altar inside his internal world, and into his profound veins, filling them up fully. Instantly, Ao Rai's cultivation shot up like a rocket.

With a jolt, Ao Rai's cultivation stopped at the 3rd rank of the Emperor Profound Realm, soliciting a frown from him.

"I could have sworn that the veins from Xia Yuanba allowed him to go all the way to the Sovereign Profound Realm, how come they're stopping for me no-"

However Ao Rai soon stopped off this train of thought as the energy being generated by the veins soon started flowing again, however this time it dispersed into the rest of his body. Frowning at this occurrence Ao Rai was about to try and force the energy back into his profound veins, when suddenly he felt as an incredible fusion was taking place within his body. Checking his internal world, the altar seemed to be becoming a a golden azure colour, and simultaneously Ao Rai's understanding of the laws of mortality and Life and Death seemed to be fusing together, forming something entirely new, under the nourishment of his entire World Dao Physique and Profound Veins.

"T-This is.."

Ao Rai was shocked to his core, which was difficult to do considering his actual age and experiences were 80,000 years worth. He could feel as if his understandings of mortality, and life and death were slowly disappearing, and fusing together, forming something unknown and completely unique... an entirely new law!

After 5 Hours all the excess energy from the Tyrannical Emperor's Divine Veins being awakened had been expended, leaving Ao Rai at only the 3rd Rank of the Emperor Profound Realm, however he was not annoyed about this at all, in fact he was even grateful this happened as otherwise he would not have had the other gains he did.

"A new law, the law of the world huh, the World Dao. I see where this physique gets its name from huh."

Inside Ao Rai's body, the Altar had shrunk down from its original size to form a 10x10 meter square, before the pillars underneath had evaporated and formed golden smoke, enveloping and fusing with the altar, before changing it into a golden and turquoise ball, seemingly containing endless vitality, yet also rife with death energy.

New information had popped into Ao Rai's head out of no where as well as soon as this ball had formed.

"Congratulations, possessor of the World Dao Physique, you have awakened the altar fully, by beginning on the path of the World Dao, having fully fused the laws of Mortality, and Life and Death together via the World Dao physique, forming a law only you, a possessor of this physique can comprehend. Now, whenever you absorb DNA it will be able to be processed and absorbed much faster than before due to the increased power of the centre altar, which is now this ball, and more importantly you have unlocked the ability to pool Joss Flames together within this altar, allowing your combat skills to be augmented to higher degrees."

Ao Rai's eyes shined with a weird light. "So these veins aren't only here for their incredible potential to grow and change, they also allow the user to have an increase in combat capabilities, interesting, interesting."

Reading on further through the information inscribed within his mind, Ao Rai's expression became even more peculiar,"This Joss Flame ability is... so overpowered."

"The power of Joss Flames is that all the life in your world, will offer you veneration and view you as a god, since to them, you effectively are. This veneration and worship, is crystallised and fused into this altar, as pure and unadulterated truths of the world, which can be withdrawn at will by you, for comprehension of other laws, techniques, and most importantly as pure energy for battle. However too much at once can cause problems if you have not augmented your physique to a certain degree, so is best to use only the corresponding level with your current cultivation level. You see, there is 1 level for each separate realm, for you there is the Emperor Joss Flame which you can call upon safely as an Emperor Profound Realm cultivator, and for a True God for example, there would be the True God Joss Flame for them to call upon. This is the current limit of the Joss Flame, however if you reach that level you will be able to create the next level of the Joss Flame, as the only predecessor of the World Dao Physique managed to reach the True God realm before his death, meaning thats how far the Physique was developed."

"At each level, in terms of battle power, say you were to activate the Emperor Joss Flame now, you would be able to battle experts at around the peak of the Profound Sovereign Realm, totalling a battle power increase of around 1078 times, which will only increase as the lifeforms in your world do. It is important you do not use the Joss Flame at your realm for too long otherwise after 30 minutes it will completely run out, needing more veneration and worship to be built up over time, which will take 15 minutes to fully recharge."

Ao Rai, finally reached the end of the description of his new abilities, and realised why heaven's will had said this physique was such a great opportunity. Not only was he able to devour some of Xia Yuanba's DNA and instantly use it to add his veins to his, and increase his cultivation drastically, but he also gained his own unique dao, the World Dao, and gained an effectively buffed version of the Evil God's veins in terms of the short term battle power increase, being able to jump across over 2 major realms to fight those at the peak of mortal cultivation, and this was with the Joss Flame from the worship of only single celled organisms. Just imagining how much of a boost he would receive from his physique upon having true intelligent organisms such as Humans in his world made him eager to increase his understanding of the World Dao and increase his cultivation so he could populate his internal world more.

And with this, Ao Rai laughed, and stood up and walked out of his cave, savouring the air as he truly embarked on his journey to becoming the strongest in existence.
