6 Your New Daughter is Not Good Enough?

Xia Sha thought she would cry out loud after escaping from the battlefield in the dining room. Turn out she is much stronger than she thought. Standing at one of the balconies, she shares her sorrow with the cold evening.

When lonely suddenly crept in, she found her phone ringing. 

Mother.

It's written on the display screen. She hesitantly pressed the green button after pondering for a while.

"Xia Sha?" Her mother's gentle voice calls out her name gently. 

"Mom." Her mother could hear the sadness in her voice instantly. She paused for a moment before asking her what happened to her. Xia Sha ignores her mother's question and instead, answering her mother another question.

"Mom, why can't you move back into this house? I'm so tired to watch that old witch and her daughter here." Wind breeze felt tickles when it blew over Xia Sha's delicate skin.

Tugging her hair to her right ears, she leans on the balcony's trail. "Xia Sha, what are you saying? Your father and I divorced. How can I move back to your father's house?"

Xia Sha frowns like a little child and whines to her mother. "Mom, you don't know what that pair of shameless mom and daughter did to me. That Xia Xiang only a daughter-in-law paper, but she dares to provoke the real daughter. Must be that Pang Ze Tian's evils blood runs through her."

"Hm? what did she did to you? How dare she bullies my daughter? Tell mom what did she does. Even if your father is too blind to see, there is Shen family behind your back!" "Xia Sha? Xia Sha? are you there?" Shen Xia Fei's worried voice bring Xia Sha's back from her thought. She grips her phone and quickly answers her mom.

"Mom, it's okay. I can handle it myself for now. There is no need for a high hand like you to intervene yet." Xia Sha side-eyes caught someone was watching her. It was Xia Qi Feng standing not far from the balcony, looking awkward.

Xia Sha is surprised to see him but quickly gains her composure back. How can she forget? Every time she throws a tantrum or is scolded by her father, he will come to her after calming himself.

It's Xia Qi Feng's and her little tradition of daddy talk. A sweet, little custom with her father that she almost forgot.

Shen Xia Fei's voice was loud when she mentions Xia Qi Feng.

She also didn't hide her resentment at her voice.

Xia Qi Feng didn't say anything but Xia Sha can see that her dad is secretly proud of her. She can saw a smile on those frowning lips. 

"It's good if you know. That guy cheated on you, didn't he?"

Xia Qi Feng sneers. He clearly shows her dislike for Ling Guang. "Since you already know that he is scum, then break up with him. Come back to our Xia's company."

Xia Sha smiles coldly, remembering a fun fact she recently hears.

  "What? your new daughter isn't good enough?"

She might be stupid in love, but she never idle and ashamed of her works. When she moved from Xia's company to Ling Guan's bright electronic company, the frustrated father wanted to pull her back by placing Xia Xiang in her previous position.

She could not even stay for more than three days.

The pair of daughter and father sat on the cold balcony floor. Facing the dark night, Xia Qi Feng can see the reflection of the shy moons in his daughter's eyes. 

"First of all, Bright Electronic just get IPO a few months ago. I need to borrow the investment team on monday~" 

Xia Qi Feng shrugs his shoulder and frowns a little bit, "Just that?"

He expected more from his only daughter. Xia Sha giggles but shook her head.

"Dad, you really led me astray. If mom hears this, she will scold you for sure."

Xia Sha shook her head, creating silent moments between them. 

"Xia Sha, I'm sorry that you have to go through this. You are right it's probably my Karma." Xia Qi Feng sounds broken-hearted as he apologized to Xia Sha. Xia Sha is stunned at her father's words. She blinks and proceeds it over and over again. 

"Daddy, you know I'm spouting nonsense because I was angry." Xia Sha felt guilty for talking so harshly at her father just now. 

"Alright, stop being melancholic. Tell me, what do we need to make the boy learn his lesson. Hmph! he dares to play with my daughter!" 

Xia Sha laughed. "No. Crashing their stock value is enough for now."

"So did they really move from the manor?" Xia Sha raised her eyebrow and slightly glancing at the entrance door. Xia Qi Feng shook his head and chuckles. 

"No, they did not go."

"Well, that's too bad." Xia Sha said lazily and stared at the dark sky again. 

"You don't like them that much?" Father Xia suddenly asked.

Xia Sha did not understand why does his question make her defensive all of sudden. She remembers that day when Xia Qi Feng asks the same question. She pours out all of her opinions, but Xia Qi Feng asked her to try instead. 

"Yes, and if you wanted to ask me to try liking them, you should give up now. I will never accept them as my family." She said icily at her father.

Xia Qi Feng sighed and nod his head. He looks like he wanted to say something is holding her back. 

"Let's get inside it's getting cold." In the end, the pair of father and daughter did fails to shares the secret both keep in each other hearts.
