Confident red stilettos create a rhythm as they meet the marvelous marble floor. The harmony somehow enchants every pair of eyes in the lobby to look at a perfect figure of certain someone. Her brown hair moves in sync, creating an image of an enchanting goddess. 

If not for the cold, arrogant face and fierce aura emit as she walks, all of the men in the room would run over to fawn her right now. 

However, those who knew what happened behind the CEO's office door pursed their lips in a line. The initial admiration has turned into a mockery.

Everybody knew that the CEO, Xia Sha's fiancé, fancies his secretary more than his fiancé. 

Their CEO, Ling Guang, was a capable man. 

After working hard for five years to build the company with his capability, he managed to take the company on par with other dominating big companies. He also appeared to be very gentle and warm towards his workers, never stingy to raise their wages or give them year-end bonuses. 

No matter how they see it, a kind and generous boss like Ling Guang was not suitable for an iron lady like Xia Sha, who is stubborn, fierce, and cruel. The first appears like an angel while the latter is a leaching demon. 

Her strong personality was the exact opposite of Meng Ran's sweet nature. At least that is what they thought. 

Who is Meng Ran? She is the third person in Xia Sha and Ling Guang's relationships. Secretary Xia Sha chose with her own hand because she was incompetent but willing to work hard. 

Meng Ran had a positive and cheerful aura around her. 

At first, Xia Sha thought Meng Ran could be one of her trusted aides. So, she put her next to Ling Guang to keep an eye on his actions. Who knew Meng Ran would be so good at pretense? 

Every move and word coming from her was gentle and graceful. To put it simply, in the employer's eyes, Xia Sha is the cause of the wound in their heart while Meng Ran is there to mend it. 

Meng Ran is an angel who appeared to save them from the great devil. She protects them from Xia Sha's rage. 

Every time Meng Ran appeared beside Ling Guang, they would feel that the world was finally at peace.

Xia Sha, on the other hand, was like a chaotic, unending war. She was cunning, sly, scheming and a strong prosecutor that never showed any mercy. The rumors said that she had killed a person just because that person did something to offend her.

Whenever she found some mistakes, she did not hesitate to yell at them. Or worse, toss their CV at the Human Resource Department and have them fired.

In any way, everybody could see that she was not compatible with Ling Guang.

Xia Sha's personality was too strong that she looked more like a boss than a girlfriend for CEO Ling. She also has hurt many of the employee's hearts with her sharp tongue. 

So, when Ling Guang and Meng Ran slowly showed immoderate closeness, nobody bothered to report it to Xia Sha. 

Everybody thought that their unspeakable relationship was something that should have happened a long time ago. 

Xia Sha was not blind or stupid either. 

She knew that his beloved had a change in his heart, but her ego refuse to admit that the problem lies in their relationship. Xia Sha was determined on blaming Meng Ran for the downfall of her relationship with Ling Guang. 

Her blood-red stilettoes pumped against the floor creating a rhythmical sound. 

She was a strong woman. She is. 

Xia Sha can prove that statement as she appears indifferent still, although those disgusting moans she heard a few minutes ago echoed loudly in her head. Even after witnessing a scene that slowly crumbles her soul, she still looks high and mighty. 

"Meng Ran, I love you." 

"Brother Ling!", Meng Ran sounded surprised by his sudden confession. 

"I love you, I do," He said while trailing kisses down her neck. 

"But, You and Sister Xia..." 

"I don't love her anymore. I couldn't love her the moment you appeared beside me." His hand moved to the zipper on Meng Ran's dress. 

"But you are going to get engaged soon! You said you wanted to propose!" 

"I didn't say I want to propose to her. I did buy the ring, but it was not her size." He stopped kissing her and took out a velvet box from his pocket. Meng Ran widened her eyes when he took out the ring and put it on her finger. 

"It's yours."

BAM!

With a swift motion, Xia Sha slammed close her car's door. 

The tears that she had hidden for so long finally dropped on her white cheeks. Gripping into the steering wheels, she tried to vent the pain in her heart to her whole hand.

The images were still vivid in her mind. Their love confession, their kisses, the shine reflecting from the diamond ring.

"Impossible…" she mumbled as she wiped away her tears.

"No, it's not true… It must be that bitch!" she hit her steering wheel, creating a big 'Bang!' sound.

The image of them kissing so intimately in the office made her sick. The way he wrapped his arms around her like he never wanted to be separated from her made her nauseous. 

How could Ling Guang do this to her after all they've been through together?

When she turn to her right side, she could see through her pathetic tear reflecting through the car window. It stunned her for a moment as she imagines her face slowly resembling her mom's crying face when his father took his mistress back to the manor. 

"Mom..." subconsciously she mumbled before anger flamed on her heart.

No! No! She is Xia Sha. She can go through anything.

The masterminds behind Bright Electronic company could beat Xia Corporation's sales for the past three months! She refuses to concede! 

She did not need a man like Ling Guang!

To be damned with those cheating couples!

They dared to mess with Xia Sha, they will get what they deserve!

She desperately took out her phone and decided to call someone over her phone. The moment the person on the other line picked up her call, she directly made her offer.

"5 million, Ling Guang's secretary. Short black hair, 155 cm, CA 1876 LG, Revenue residence number 587. The passcode to her apartment is 1407, 2 days."

"Hey! Hey! Hey! Do you take me as an assassin?" The masculine voice complained.

"Just say, are you in or out?" she snapped.

The man behind the phone let out a long sigh.

He obviously knew the reason behind her sudden orders. He was one of the people who wanted to make Xia Sha realize that Ling Guang is a scum.

"Xia Sha, stop it, you know it takes two to tango. It's not completely her wrongdoings, just admit that Ling Guang is a bastard."

"I'm hanging up!" She threatened him, knowing well that he will accept her offer. 

"Damn it! Fine! I better get my best friend back after this!"

The call was cut off immediately. After regaining her calmness, Xia Sha tries to use the left rationality she had in her to drive herself back to the manor.

Xia Sha was too busy with her thoughts that she did not realize two pairs of exceptional eyes had been watching her from the moment she walked out of the lift.

The two fellows who wanted to stay lowkey behind the newspaper they spread out wide, were whispering to each other while she walked past them.

Guan Xian raised his straight eyebrow, his sight following Xia Sha's figure as he asked Ji Cun Xi.

"That girl looks familiar, don't you think?"

Ji Cun Xi raised his eyes from the newspaper and nodded his head.

"That is Xia Sha, you remember? Your sister's biggest enemy at school. Daughter of the Xia family."

"No wonder I found her familiar. You say, what is she doing in a small company like this?"

Ji Cun Xi's lips twitch, asking Guan Xian in a disbelief tone, "You don't know the news about the Xia family?"

Guan Xian shook his head casually. Why should he bother?

Ji Cun Xin pursed his lips when he saw that Guan Xian's sight never left Xia Sha, who was slamming her car's door right now. 

"Ah, you know Xia Qi Feng has one stepdaughter now, don't you?"

Of course, Guan Xian knew, he had a trusted informant! his lovely mother, Guan Qian Si, the gossip queen of the century!

Moreover, it seemed like everybody always liked the scandalous life of the cheating husband. The affair of Xia Qi Feng was especially famous in the Capital City. Some even praised how bold he was to offend the Shen family just for an ordinary woman. 

"It has been a while, hasn't it?" Guan Xian remembered the gossip that started leaking out when he almost graduated from high school.

Ji Cun Xi affirms with a nod.

"Anyway, Xia Sha chose to help her dear fiancé rather than helping her father in their company to vent out her anger at her father. The result is clear because both of us right now are sitting on Bright Electric company. But the gossip I heard is that Xia Sha's fiancé is having an affair with his secretary." 

"Ckckck, as expected. The more money the man gets, the naughtier they become. The naughtier woman becomes, the more money they get," Guan Xian murmured indifferently, pretending to look disinterested. 

"..."

"Aren't you talking about yourself?" Ji Cun Xi rolled his eyes at his best friend. Guan Xian retracted his gaze from Xia Sha and grinned at Ji Cun Xi. 

"I might be a player, but I never cheat," Guan Xian claimed. 

"Uh-huh. Whatever you say," Ji Cun Xi decided to give in. Apparently, he was too lazy to deal with his crazy brother.

The Xia family company was also engaged in the electronic field. Logically it would be hard for a new start-up to flourish under the Xia Corporation's influence in the market. For them to beat Xia Corporation's sales three months in a row is impressive to everyone.  Bright Electronic Company has left a deep impression on some investors. It was also one of the reasons why Guan Xian was considering investing in Bright Electronic.

He thought that the CEO of Bright Electronic was rare and brilliant. Turns out just a loser that reaped from the woman he cheated on.

"Thankfully, my little sister ended up with Wang Kai, the Shan mountain monk."

Guan Xian suddenly felt grateful for his sister and best friend's betrayal. At least he knew Wang Kai would never cheat on her sister.

Ji Cun Xi clasped his hand and closed his eyes in peace, "Amitabha."

Guan Xian closed the newspaper he held and stood up from his seat. Ji Cun Xi looked at him with wonder, didn't understand why his best friend stood up when they should be waiting for the CEO of the bright electronic.

When Ji Cun Xi did not move from his seat, Guan Xian raised his eyebrow at him.

"Let's go. There is no need to consider the contract with Bright Electronic anymore," He slyly looked at the lift as it split open.

In the next two-second, a man wearing an Armani silver suit came along with his pretty secretary.

"Ah, why? You finished inspecting them?" Ji Cun Xi was at a loss. Do they just need to sit in the lobby to decide whether he will sign the proposal? How the hell did this man manage his company?

Cun Xi began to doubt Guan Xian's ability.

Guan Xian had a big grin on his handsome face as Ling Guang and his secretary was only a few steps away from them. "Lipstick stain on his neck, the same shade as his secretary lips. No need to consider it anymore. There is no way the unprofessional character of them managed to write the proposal."

It was his luck to arrive 7 minutes earlier. This way, he could use this as an excuse to refuse the cheating scum and his bitch.

He smirked before he turned around to look at the spot where Xia Sha's car had been parked initially.
