2 2nd Floor

It didn't take long for the elevator to reach the second floor. The elevator opened and everyone walked out. "Ok, we all should split up into our age groups to look for the room with the puzzle in it," said the girl who bombarded you with questions said. "Hold up there Emily, who made you the leader?" asked a guy with headphones around his neck.

"Because since I'm majoring in the detective arts I have more experience with puzzle-solving than the rest of you," Emily said smuggle. "That may be but you lack professionalism," said a guy wearing thin lens glasses.

"Then what do you suggest?" Emily asked. "We split up each group has a person of each age in it," the guy wears thin lens glasses said. "Teams will switch with each floor we go to," he added. "Like a bonding exercise?" Asked said the Asian girls with thick lens glasses.

"In a way," the guy with thin lens glasses said. "Ok fine, but don't cry when your plan fails," Emily said. "You, you and you come with me," Emily said pointing to two boys and Harper.

Emily walked in one direction and the three followed. "Good luck to them," said the guy with headphones around his neck. "Alright the oldest pick, who you want on your teams," said the guy in glasses. "There should be three teams, with four people in total," he added. You felt a hand on your shoulder, you turned your head to see Thomas.

Of course, he was going to choose you. "Hey, I'll join you two I'm Wade Weston, I'm a Youtuber and Twitch streamer," said the guy with headphones around his neck said.

You've seen him on Youtube before, he has over 15 million subscribers. "Ok," Thomas said. Then a boy in sneakers, sweat pants and T-shirt came up to us. "I would like to join your group," He said. "I'm Zane, I'm a dancer ," explained.

"Me too please," said a girl in a purple shirt and jeans. "I am Sofia Ruiz," she said. "Oh, I saw your cooking show," Wade said. "She can make a plain sandwich look like a work of art," Wade commented. "Alright we should get looking for the room," Thomas said. "We'll go left," said the other girl wearing designer clothes. Thomas nodded and lead the way through the hallway straight from them.

As the four of you walked down the hallway, they looked in the rooms. All of the rooms they looked in were empty, with no bed, no TV, no paintings, just a room. "Wait, where are the windows?" You asked yourself. You walk into the room and felt the wall. You slide you and across the wall, the texture changed. It felt like... paper. You peel the paper away, then.

It revealed a window, but it was blocked by something from the outside. You were about to walk away when something caught your eye. It was a key card, it said room 148 on. You put the card in your back pocket and left the room. The others were searching through the room.

"Have you found anything?" Thomas asked. "Not real-" "Hey guys over here," Sofia called they all ran to the room she was in. There was a lot of stuff in the room. "We found the room," Thomas said. "Should we go find the others?" Sofia asked. "No, let's just find the key then go," Thomas said. Without letting anyone else say anything he walked and started searching, you three joined afterwords.

You were looking in the cabinets that were in there. In one of the cabinets, there were some books. Seeing all the movies that you did you pulled all of the books out of the cabinet. And to your luck, one of them was a switch. Then a wall opened revealing a code. 27946. "I say an eye pad on the elevator, That must be the code to the elevator," Wad said. Thomas grabbed a piece of candy paper and wrote down the number. "Alright let's go," Thomas said.

They walked out of the room then to the elevator, where no one was yet. Thomas put the code into the keypad. Then the elevator opened. "We did it, go get the other groups we'll wait here," Thomas said. You and Thomas stayed behind as Sofia and Wade when the other two ways.

"Thomas, I found something in one of the rooms," You said. "What was it?" Thomas asked. You pulled out the key card you found. "Keep it on you, it might come in handy on the next floor," Thomas said. You nodded then put the key card back into your back pocket.

Then the others showed up. "Didn't we say call everyone when you find the room?" Emily asked. "There was no point the room barely anything in there it was easy to find the password," Thomas said. "But still how do we know that you guys wouldn't leave afterward?" Emily asked. "As much as I don't want to say it, Emily is right. We don't know if the elevator doors will lock after being used once," said the boy with the thiclens glasses said.

"Calm down Benny we won't do that," Wade said. "We don't know each other, Wade, for all I know you all are teaming up on the rest of us," Benny said. "Then way would we come and get you?" Sofia said. "The next few floors will be a dog work, when the going gets though people will get desperate," Benny said walking passed then to the elevator. "Oh and by the way, my names is Benjamin Calvin the 2nd, not Benny," Benjamin said.

"Damn, talk about a wet blanket," Wade said. "Tell me about it," said a boy in red pants and and white scarf said. The sixteenth gathered into the elevator to ascend to the next floor.
