5 Business Card

"Wake up!" I heard my mom yelling, and she was rummaging over my things, arranging them into a place. "Look how messy your room is! You just took off everything that you wore yesterday and wore your pajamas!" She then went to prey on me and gave me a beating, "It could have been better if you were able to find the reincarnated prince, but instead, you found your mortal nemesis, the sea witch, instead!"

"Mom!" I mumbled, and I rolled over the bed. " You didn't tell me how to find the reincarnated prince!"

"I'm sure he had the same face in your past life, plus, you will know who it is since fate will always try to do the same thing. What happened in your past life will surely happen now," she explained. "If you don't step up your game, you will disappear! You wasted your time yesterday! How can you not find the person who can undo your curse?"

"But," I retorted.

"Stop whining! I am sure the reincarnated prince is nearer than you think he is, I am sure of that. And aren't you going to wake up?" She scolded me, "It's already 7:30 in the morning! You have to go to work at 8 am!"

I opened my eyes and screamed, "What?!"

"Yes, you woman! I am not lying," she said to me. "Now get your ass off your bed now and go to work! Do you want me to pour water on your legs for you to get to your senses?" She glared at me, "You might want to be swimming your way to the CR?"

"No, mom!" I whined, "You do know how long it takes for me to dry my legs completely! And it's not like you are going to carry me to the CR."

"Yes, you woman," she yelled. "Now go and take a bath now and get ready to work!"

"Mom!" I yelled as I stood up and called my mom's attention. "How did you actually know that the reincarnated prince is at the Seo Publishing Company?"

"I already told you that I visited a famous shaman," Mom yelled back, "And she said that he has to be in that company!"

After I finished taking a bath, I tried to wear simple office wear, a long red pencil skirt paired with a white long-sleeved. I didn't have enough time to eat breakfast, so I usually tend to skip it and make a cup of coffee in the office. I ran towards the bus station and successfully found an empty seat. I recalled what happened yesterday.

Mr. Kim Seungwoo's face was already near mine when two men who seemed to be his friends came near to us carried Seungwoo away from me. One man appeared to be an easy-going guy, and the other one looked kind of serious, and both of them were wearing a mask and a suit and a tie, so I wasn't able to familiarize their faces.

"I'm sorry," the seemingly easy-going guy talked. "This guy can't even handle liquor, but he drank a lot."

And that ended the masquerade party.

Just kidding, though, the guy who left with Mr. Kim gave me a card. He said that I should contact Seungwoo later. I looked at the card again, and it said, Kim Publishing Co., CEO, Kim Seungwoo. I wondered why this Kim Seungwoo was introduced to the Seo Company as a newly-hired employee, just like me, so why on earth does his business card state that he's the CEO of the parent company of Seo Publishing Inc.? Is Mr. Kim trying to be an undercover employee in Seo Publishing Inc. to see if the CEO and the employees are doing well?

I never thought it happens in real life, and it made me remember his scent. It seemed like he has a peachy vanilla scent, something I like. I wonder why he appeared to be caring for me. Now I'm contemplating my life if I send him a text on Kakao Talk or something! I am nervous!

If I do send him, what would I say?

Um, hello, Li Suji, the woman who stood out at the masquerade party. Are you interested in getting to know me better and become my prince? Haha, how cringe and weird. I'd like it if he's the reincarnated prince. I should focus more on finding out who the reincarnated prince is before I got sidetracked.

But how will I get to know other men's collarbones? I couldn't do that at the masquerade party as it was a formal party. I relied on basing it into feelings of overflowing love and emotions, but I am not that sure about falling in love. I am too gullible and innocent, and I fall in love easily to distinguish it.
