17 Chapter 14 The new fish in the tank

[ 1 month earlier just after Tokugawa visited Kai]

POV Doppo Orochi

"So you're saying that, this Demon King? will go to Japan to taste challenge? and you need me to fight him?" Doppo says to Mitsunari Tokugawa as they were taking lunch at one of the high class restaurants in Tokyo.

"Yes, he's also undefeated for about one and half yrs, he's the real deal Doppo, fighting with the Ogre, and on top of that he defeated my Body guard Shumei in a second" Tokugawa say's he was trying to get his point across the 10th Dan Grandmaster of Shinshinkai Karate.

"I see, and you want me to host a welcome for him, when he arrived here in Tokyo" Doppo wanted to confirm to Tokugawa, the reason for this meeting.

"Yes, will you do it?Doppo Orochi the tiger Slayer" provokes Tokugawa as he wants to have Doppo face Kai.

"Sure, maybe it's time for a change, let's see if I can fight a Demon" Doppo says as he ate a spoonful of Indian curry.

As Shibukawa was heading to Tokugawa estate, he was baffled by the sudden invitation and call by his dear friend Mitsunari Tokugawa.

As he was ushered inside the receiving room, he saw various master's of their own respective styles sitting and having tea, it's like a reunion of Fighters from his generations in here, as well as the later generations, who created their own styles.

Breaking the Ice he approached Tokugawa and said "are you planning another tournament Mitsunari?"

Tokugawa who's been talking with Sabukyou Ichiro, who Shibukawa recognize as the greatest swordman of japan, turning to Shibukawa, Tokugawa stop his talk to Ichiro and welcomed him by saying out loud "Gouki!! glad you could come! go seat yourself, I'm announcing something in a second"

seating himself Shibukawa noticed a change in the air, as Tokugawa stand and took the attention of the Grandmasters, he announced "Grandmasters! I have gathered you here today, A Demon King is coming to Tokyo in 3 weeks, I hope you could prepare a proper and exciting welcome for him!"

"I see, Mitsunari got a new fish to place in the tank" Shibukawa chuckled as the other master's gossipped with each other on what they knew about the Demon King of New York.

3rd unknown Underground fighter: "chill, let him crush the Demon King, that is if he can?"

Soon all of Tokyo's underground knew about Kai's arrival to Japan and they can't wait.

POV Kai

Turning to his Right, Kai was in a trance, he haven't encountered this kind of feeling,this feeling of danger and power from people he faced, asking Tokugawa who's the one in his right just outside the estate's courtyard.

Tokugawa answered "Not one, but many" as he puffs his tobbaco pipe.

"Can we? Can I go outside" Kai feeling Giddy as he wants to unwrap the present Tokugawa gave him.

"well then, I could see you can't wait, let's go" Tokugawa say's as he gets up from his cushion.

getting up from his cushion as well, Kai walk besides Tokugawa as they headed outside, opening the Tatami door, Kai could see the Grandmaster of Shinshinkai Karate, the one and only Doppo Orochi, as well as Shibukawa Gouki of Shibukawa dojutsu dojo, and many more of the Grandmasters, he couldn't name them all, since in the mangas they are all put aside, but now he could see, they all radiated power with experience.

Smiling Kai ask Tokugawa "Is this for me?"

Smirking Tokugawa replies "Yes, it's all for you Demon King"

after Tokugawa replied to him, Kai couldn't wait anymore and started Flaring his battle spirit, using his will power, he materialize the very definition of monster, he let out his image of Typhon the king and father of all monsters.

Shocked and sweating, Doppo didn't realize that the Demon King was this strong, He's like before an undefinable monster, but nonetheless he faced such monsters before, like with the Ogre he withstood the power that's before him and he will take him down.

I knew it, coming here was the very definition of defeat, earlier I was assaulted with the visions of crushing defeat and death, but I have faced far worse, I wouldn't let this deter me in facing this Demon.

Laughing loud I continued to menace them with my aura,subtly noticing some of them putting their Guards up, I broke the silence by demanding "So who's gonna fight me"

as they were snapping out of their daze as they were still feeling my flaring aura, I also noticed that Tokugawa is gone from my side.

I see Doppo Jump towards me and perform a perfect Karate kick you'd only see in Street fighter games or movies, sidestepping it i then swing my left palm at his face,nailing him then breaking his nose in the process as he landed with a thud in the wooden floor before the Tatami doors, turning my attention to the others, I could see Gouki approaching "sorry about that, were just excited to greet you" just as he was nearing me, I sensed Doppo snapping out then proceeded to do a sweeping kick from my behind, jumping quickly then taking a spinning back kick on Doppo's face which almost crushed his face before sliding further inside, I then noticed someone hugging my midsection looking down, I see Shibukawa wrapped around my waist, having an epiphany on what this little guy is trying to do, I did my best on countering his Aiki and possible Jiu jitsu by lowering my center of gravity thus making myself heavier, but this effort didn't matter as I feel myself getting lifted for some reason mystical to me, ' I wouldn't get defeated by this little man ' Thought Kai as he used his own Aiki on directing on where he is gonna get thrown.

spinning mid air Kai safely landed as he got thrown by the little man Shibukawa, as Kai was getting ready to charge, Tokugawa Clapped furiously before sighing "I honestly think, this is just a meet and greet, but I could see that you couldn't wait to fight" as he approached us from his position which is about 10 meters away from me and the Grandmasters "Kano could you check if Doppo's alright, we might have to check him to the Hospital" Tokugawa Ordered as he was a little bit concerned about Orochi.

Facing us Tokugawa then yelled"If you really want a fight, do it at the Tokyo dome underground arena!!"

"I'm sorry Mr. Tokugawa, won't happen again" Kai replied still smiling from feeling the earlier fights.

"Forgive us Mitsunari, we got carried away, just checking if it's the real deal" Gouki say's as he placates Tokugawa.

"You want a go? Old man!" Kai confronting Gouki.

"2 weeks from now, you could schedule a fight with Kai to me, sheesh what I'm gonna do with you all" Tokugawa sighing again.

"Alright, nice meeting you Demon King" Gouki sarcastically say's as he leave followed by the others.

Kai turning around could see Doppo Orochi just standing up blood gushing from his nose, he was being assisted by Kano before walking up to Kai.

"Hehehe, you're the real deal, huh well then let me welcome you to Japan" as Doppo finished his words he shot a kick from his right leg to Kai's neither region.

jumping back to dodge Kai was a little bit pissed that Doppo tried to hit him in the nuts, cocking his fist back, he intends to introduce Doppo to Dreamland when Mitsunari stepped between them and commanded them to stop, then he explained to Doppo about the fight in 2 weeks, which Doppo nodded then quietly went his own way out.

Sighing for the third time "introducing fighters, especially the hot blooded ones are a headache"Tokugawa say's to himself as he invited Kai inside.

Kai then noticed a scurrying sound in the ceiling, looking up he deduced that must be Gaia.

coming back home from Brazil, I intend to meet Tokugawa to see if I could fight in the Tokyo dome Underground arena.

on the way I met Kitazawa, a thug I defeat back then hailing me "Yow Baki, what's up? heard the word of the street? a Demon King has arrived from New York, it's the buzz, everyone wanted to see how good he was, bet you wanted too, Tokugawa had been spreading the word lately, you should go see the fights"

Surprised Baki then questioned Kitazawa on where does the Demon King is staying and when is the fight, Kitazawa answered him after that he run while muttering "I'm gonna destroy you Demon King"

The next few days has been tame in comparison to when I arrived, today me, my girlfriend and plus 2s are taking a stroll and seeing the sights Tokyo has to offer, while Yui was excited on tasting restaurants and local specialty, I was preoccupied with flaring and directing my killing intent on thugs and wannabees who wants a fight or just want to snag the girls apparently if you got 3 gorgeous girls on your hands they'll try to harass you especially if you're new to the area,as we were ordering ramen from a Highly reviewed restaurant, I feel someone approaching me from the back, dismissing it as a customer of the restaurant, I returned back to slurping my noodles, when someone placed a hand on my left shoulders, turning around I saw an incoming fist at my face, activating fallen demon I leaned a little to the right to dodge,catching the fist that grazed my shoulder and neck I judo throw him over my shoulders slamming him to the table ultimately wrecking the counter and him slumping over it, taking a good look at him, I saw the face, I'd only recognize in the mangas and the Baki series of Netflix the one that got wrecked by Dorian, Kiyosumi Katou the sneaky Bastard who only uses the dirtiest moves in Karate, seeing the concerned face of his Girlfriend and friends as well as the customers,Kai quickly apologized and said the guy tried to punch him in which he acted in self defense,which was seconded by the customer who saw the act, the manager who was approaching them also apologized for what happened and ask if he could offer them anything to which Kai declined just asking if all the damages will be billed to the attacker, which the manager agreed and apologized again.

exiting the restaurant Kai and his girlfriend plus friends strolled a little bit more before going back to Tokugawa estate to rest.

Arriving at the estate Kai could sense anger inside, kissing his girlfriend and bidding his friends to rest, he went to Tokugawa's receiving room where he sensed the anger, now close he could not only sense anger but power as well, Kai surmised that however in there is angry at Mitsunari or him, entering the room he could see Tokugawa seated in his cushion with Baki in his front demanding to fight the Demon King.

Surprised at his entrance Tokugawa clap then said "Perfect, you're here Kai great timing entertain Baki here for a second, he says you got unfinished business"

"Unfinished business?" Kai inquired

in which Baki interrupted with "You run away from our fight!!" yelling the words.

"I see, I remember now you're the little pipsqueak who tried to kick me in the face"Kai teased which made Baki more angrier.

"Now,now, stop for a second and don't fight here, let's move to the courtyard, you said you wanted to fight in the arena, well then prove to me you can fight" Tokugawa say's to Baki as he ushered him to the courtyard while Kai followed.

as they move to the courtyard Kai could see the knocked out Shumei Kano sprawled to the ground, Tokugawa seeing this rushed at him to check whether he's ok,

"Looks like pipsqueak here, Knocked your Head bodyguard and a lot of your security as well, you can't doubt his fighting ability now Tokugawa"Kai can't help but laugh at Mitsunari's expression as he also saw the bunch of laid out bodies.

"Are we gonna fight now?" as Baki takes his stance

"Ohhhh, this will be fun" as Kai took a Southpaw stance.

"do we need a ref...."Kai was interrupted by Baki's fast strikes that bombarded him, making sure to block all of Baki's punches,Kai noticed that Baki is a little bit smarter and is cautious around Kai, then he noticed Baki using Seiken a karate punch with his left, redirecting it sideways with his right hand as Baki launched it Kai then fired a straight jab to Baki's face with his right hand, when he noticed the fast oncoming leg of Baki targeting his nuts, Kai blocked it with his left as he hit Baki in the face making the Baki backflip away to Kai, Kai thought ' Damm this main cast always targeting my balls, why the balls? ' as Kai charged to Baki intending to knock him out as he was still backflipping away, reaching Baki in a second due to his Raishin footwork, Kai fired an uppercut to the midsection of Baki while he's still in the middle of a backflip, when he felt Baki latched to his right hand which he used to fire an uppercut, now realizing that Baki intend to do a flying armbar on him, allowing it Kai was internally chuckling as he'll try to swing Baki like the hulk did to Loki in the avengers,Baki executing it now felt the long length of Kai's arms, Baki tried to get his feet behind Kai's neck but due to his trunk like arms of Kai he's having difficulty with it, Kai now sure that Baki had a good grip proceeded to smash Baki's back on the ground making a crater, which Baki was imbedded after spewing a lot of blood in his mouth and is currently wheezing for breath.

Kai now seeing that Baki couldn't take it muttered "my bad, I think I used a little bit of extra force, now he won't be able to fight"

"Hey Tokugawa!, I think you need to send Baki to the Hospital too, I think he's broken" Kai yelled to Tokugawa who's dialling an ambulance

"I guess it's time to rest, whew what a day" As Kai headed inside to his room.
