14 Chapter 11 being a mercenary while recuperating
After my fight and Night out with the Ogre, Strydum escorted me back home in a black sedan with a convoy of police officers in their service motorcycles just so they could clear the way and provide easy access, inside a conversation is happening.
"I was tasked with creating a task force to handle or possibly kill the Ogre" Hinted Strydum as he tried to initiate a conversation.
'this guy wanna pull a God of War kratos vs Zeus situation with the Hanma's ' Kai thought
"let me guess Baki and Oliver is in that task force" says Kai nonchalantly as he looks outside.
Surprised by Kai's reply Strydum looks stunned with his mouth opened and stuttering "Ho how do you know that?".
"simple math really, the only people who can really stand up to that monster is another monster or a blood relative that has a potential to gain such power" Kai explained as he faced Strydum.
"you already had Oliver the supposedly strongest man of America that's one monster in your pockets while you're helping Baki grow stronger by having him fight strong people all around the world" Kai continued as he pointed out Strydum key points in his plans to stop Yujiro.
"Amazing Hahahaha"Strydum laughs then proposed "then you already know that I'm gonna invite you in this group?"
"Yeah, but I had conditions and I want benefits for being a part of this taskforce" Kai answered with a counter proposition.
"Sure sure, just don't overdo it we can probably acquiesce any demand just by having you" Strydum replied still in his good mood.
"Alright, First I want the right to decline and accept any impossible request your higher ups might order in the future I won't bend down just for some weakling who somehow got popular and got a position of power ordering me" Kai fired his first demand at Strydum.
"Hmmm , the pride of the strong pretty common, your next one?" Strydum nodded as he takes some notes.
"Second, I don't want to be charge for, Let say accidentally killing, I sometimes forget to tone down my strength to match my opponents overpowering and killing them on the process" says Kai as he demanded his second condition.
"It depends, but as long as you had a go ahead you could neutralizes your targets on the get go" Strydum replied as he pensively taps his pen at his beard.
"Third, I want access to American bases all around the world the same as your affiliated mercenaries had the privilege to use" Kai fired his first benefits he wants to have.
"That can be easily arranged" Strydum immediately answered.
"And fourth, I want to hear all the information your intelligence agents know same as Oliver while I had some knowledge I do not know all and thus I want America in it's power provide me with vision and hearing all around the world" say's Kai as he demanded his second benefit and his final demand to Strydum.
"That will be a little difficult since your not as renowned as Biscuit Oliver, I'll be having some problems and could take a little bit of time if it's alright?" Strydum replied with a little bit of hesitation.
"You can take it or leave it, I honestly don't care, it's just for my convenience anyway" Kai replied with his nonchalant attitude as he returned to stare outside the car.
"Alright alright, I'll make it happen you sure do drive a hard bargain Mr. De Rohan." Strydum finally agreeing on the terms.
Kai seeing the nearing of his Family estate ignored Strydum and as they finally arrived Strydum said to Kai who's getting off the car "Someone will come to you in a few days with a contract just sign it and you'll be good."
As Kai neared the Manor several people from gardeners and security are already talking about his disheveled at bruised appearance Kai walk until he's at the front door when it opened and out comes his concerned parents with his mother quickly calling for a car to get Kai to a hospital.
As Kai was inside another car with his parents, he ignored the droning of his mom and dad as they ask Kai on how he got his injury's to who he got a fight with, tired and is in no mood Kai took a nap as he leaned against the cars window.

Being waked up, Kai had to follow his father and mother to the hospital, inside Kai was given all sorts of check ups and an X-Ray, the doctors had to cast both of his forearms since they've been snapped in half, they are also wondering how Kai was able to endure such injury since it's tremendously painful to have both arms broken.

[ Time skip 2 weeks ]
Kai during this time have done nothing aside from walking and checking his system courtesy of his Parents who grounded him until he gets better, His friends also came along with gifts and well wishes for him to get better soon,he also had a document sent to him by Strydum a contract which stated that he was now exclusively a mercenary under the US with his condition and benefits stated in the terms and conditions of the contract, Kai also experimented with his system and he found a few things that he is very excited and had him musing out loud "No wonder I could fight the Ogre in a few minutes."

It looks to Kai that he transcended the limiters if he activated all of his enhancement techniques he could literally be a monster amongst monsters in his own right combined with his techniques he's pretty much unstoppable, no wonder Strydum wanted him under the US, working as a mercenary.
Kai also bought a new technique in the shop called [ The Fist eye Style ] by Yamashita Ichinoshin mainly because of the technique Fist eye which granted superhuman kinetic vision which enabled Kai to predict any and all attacks that an opponent might threw at him while in combat, it might be confused with Kanoh Agito pre initiative but the technique pre initiative can only be used before combat while Fist eye can be used during combat to predict oncoming blows and strikes.
After 2 weeks Kai is completely healed from his broken forearms apparently if you willed it you can quickly mend or heal from any injuries, {AN: Baki logic is bullshit} now he was in the hospital having his cast remove so that he can now be safely seen as completely healed, his parents tried to persuade him to stop fighting but he replied with a smile that "It's what I want and my dream to fight the strongest people won't you support me?"
Disarmed by their baby's answer they put a condition on which they can watch his matches from now on, which Kai agreed while he simultaneously thought ' I had to tone down the killings from this day forward. '

Now on his tip top shape Kai visited his friends and his underground contacts which resulted with the squad hosting a party to celebrate his quick healing which lasted until morning in which they all had hangovers and now sleeping together in the floor turned pillow castles with the girls smothering Kai as they all lay sleeping.

[basement turned nightclub under a convenience store]
"What a pleasure to see you Mr. Reinhold, heard you got into a fight which resulted in an injury" Greeted Dave Santorini out loud as Kai approach his field of view.
Coming over Kai replied"Yeah, when you fight the strongest creature on this planet, your bound to get a broken bone or two."
Shocked and surprised Dave Santorini inquired "You mean the person you got into a fight is the rumoured Ogre who defeated the US?"
"Yeah, at some point the Millitary had to intervene" Kai replied to Dave.
"My man, my man, Boy is moving up in the world!!! Who knew you could stand toe to toe with the monsters in this world, let me treat you this time, order any drinks you like, you won't fight for today, well by this time nobody wants a fight with you" Dave Santorini yelled and congratulated Kai on his recent achievement.
"So who's fighting today?" Kai ask as he pointed to the Cage which had women today.
"Oh it's the usual Lucha and some new blood she got an air of toughness on hers that'll make you think twice about messing with her she wants to fight tho" Dave informed Kai as they sat down on a table.
Squinting due to the lights Kai saw Lucha who is a petite woman with brown hair circling a tanned woman, who got a dark red side swept hair and a shiny earrings on the top of her ear, when she smiled Kai noticed three golden tooth and she wears a jacket with big letters that says GREATNESS overall she's also athletic having some delicious abs on her midsection, Kai was having a hard time not to stare since he found her aura very attractive not just the appearance but somehow her air and attitude attracted Kai as she proceeded to kick Lucha with a round house automatically knocking the poor girl out.
Dave noticing this couldn't help but tease Kai as he offered " you want to have some alone time with her?"
Kai snapping out replied "Yeah, alright what's her name?"
Dave laughing told Kai her name "Her name's Alex short for Alexandra mio amico"
