The sound of the door banging loudly could be heard from the phone. Feng Mian gripped the phone on her hand tighter, hoping that her best friend was safe. She knew how bad it could be in City F at night because it was quite a rural city, which meant that the place was unsafe.
Sob, sob.
The sound of cries entered her ears from time to time, slicing her heart with every second. Feng Mian stayed silent as her hand was gripping the phone on her hand tighter.
'Please, let Yu Yan be safe.'
"Have you found the exact location of the signal?" Zhang Liang asked. He was calling the guard as his hand turned the wheel.
"Yes. It's three minutes away from you, Boss. Turn on the front."
"Got it."
Yu Yan had moved into the alley to hide from the road. Feng Mian could no longer hear the sound of the car and only her friend's sobbing could be heard from time to time.
