1 +*Brand New Start*+

Mikasa was in her usual Survey Corps uniform walking to her room. She did her usual night routine. She took a quick 10 minutes shower and changed into her favorite black Survey corps hoodie and light grey shorts. She let her hair air-dry and laid down on her bed. "So, we leave for the school tomorrow...Halloween in coming up in two weeks..Levi's birthday in in two months...and of course my job starts next week." Mikasa sighed, "I hope nobody finds out..who knows what they'll say". Right when she got up on her bed, Sasha came kicking the door open, "Hey Mikasa you ready for school tomorrow!?" Sasha yelled excitedly. I'm excited to go to school since I haven't been there in years but then again-" Sasha abruptly stopped. "Mika? Why are you so quiet today? Is something bothering you?" Sasha asked worriedly. "Huh? Oh no, I was just thinking about training and school, nothing is bothering me Sasha." Replied Mikasa. "Well ok! Anyway I have a meeting with the shower, be back!" said Sasha taking her pajamas and going into the shower room. Mikasa sighed and laid on the bed and continued thinking..

-One hour later-

Mikasa found herself listening to music with her earbuds and Sasha was eating a left over bread roll she got from Armin. Mikasa was still thinking about her future when suddenly, "Tsk get up brats", Mikasa knew that tone. She immediately got up and put her fists by her chest and back and saluted, as did Sasha. "At ease soldiers" replied Levi with his usual monotone voice. "Captain, what is your business here with us?" asked Mikasa. "Well you and your other brat friends including I will be leaving for "Freedom wings academy tomorrow morning." replied Levi. "Get to bed early and don't be late." He glared at both Sasha and Mikasa before they all heard a voice all too familiar, "LEVIIIIII!". "Tch, I have to deal with shitty four eyes now. Remember to sleep early brats." He then left the room and into the hallway. Mikasa finally relaxed and briefly exhaled. It wasn't like she was afraid of him, but recently ever since she broke her leg by that titan, and Levi had carried her all the way back to Survey corps and was by her side for weeks, she stopped breathing and she always felt nervous around him. Sure he pissed her off almost all the time but she knew that he cares for the people around him. She got flustered thinking about it so she put on her earbuds again and made the music louder. A few minutes later she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep..

-The next morning-

Mikasa's POV

I heard a loud, blaring noise and woke up to my alarm. It was 5:15 in the morning and school started at we had a a tour or something like that at around 8:00 or something. So I had time. I got up and went to me and Sasha's closet. We both didn't have many clothes so we shared one closet. I got into my usual work-out outfit. A black sports bra with a thick white lining at the rim, she then slipped on matching leggings and got her water bottle. She got a light black jacket and zipped it up half-way. She then went to the mess hall and filled up her water bottle with water and ice. By then it was 5:25, and she went on her usual morning job for an hour and another 30 minute morning grind. As she was jogging she went on a break on a bench and took a breather. She drank her about 1/4 of her water before she got up again and jogged back to Survey corps.

-Time skip to after she finished her work-out-

When she got back to her dorm it was 6:57, she took her clothes and took a quick shower with cold water. She slightly dried it with a towel and wore her school uniform.

She looked in the mirror and made herself a bit more presentable by brushing her hair. She got her navy blue bag and went to the Mess hall. She saw Hange and Sasha, her best friends at the mess hall tables.

"So did you guys get your schedules yet?" Hange asked, "I did!" said Sasha. Sadly I got math first, my worst subject" added Sasha. "Your not good at any subject Sasha, you know this." Mikasa replied.

They all had a bit of a laugh watching Sasha have a rant about how she school subjects were dumb and which one was dumber then the other. It was finally 7:15 im the morning when Mikasa noticed Levi coming over to the table, when he came everyone saluted to him. "At ease soldiers, we have to leave now the academy is a 30 minute walk from here brats.", "It'll take an hour for you shrimp.." muttered Mikasa. "Did you say something Ackerman?" while he briefly glared at her. "Nothing sir" Mikasa bluntly replied. "Tch, that's what I thought

" said Levi before he left the Mess hall. "Well, that took some guts Mika, but it was PRETTY HILARIOUS!" Exclaimed Sasha. She continued laughing like a maniac while she walked out of the mess hall.

They all walked out of the building and continued walking to the school. Hanji came out of nowhere and whispered, "So... Mikasa do you have a crush on the captain?", Mikasa's eyes widened, "What?? That's outrageous, why would I like a egotistical, emotionless, rude, guy like him?" Mikasa said in shock, Hanji's eyebrow raised, "Hmmm I think that reminds me of someone, don't you think your being a BIT of a hypocrite..?" said Hanji slyly. "Plus, does he not look a tiny bit cute in that uniform to you..?" added Hanji " No! And I am not a hypocrite!" exclaimed Mikasa. Levi suddenly stopped and turned facing Mikasa and Hanji, "Oi brats, what's the commotion?" he said as he rolled his eyes. "Nothing sir" Mikasa said with gritted teeth. Levi "Tch, brats" said as he turned and continued walking.

Mikasa gave a death glare to Hanji before she backed off. "Huh, I guess he does look a bit cute-, W-what the!, where did that come from?! Damn Hanji with her stupid damn questions." Mikasa thought in her mind. She must have been blushing because the next thing she knows, Sasha comes over and says "Hey Mikasa you ok? You seemed a bit antsy when Hanji was talking to you, what were you taking about anyway? Also are you ok? You look a bit red.." asked Sasha. Mikasa took a few breaths and answered, " We weren't talking about anything special and it might just be the heat, you don't have to worry Sasha". "You sure..?" replied Sasha, Mikasa nodded "Well..ok then!" said Sasha. They all arrives at the school and "Wow, the school is huge! It looks like 4 really big mansions all put together.." Mikasa thought.
