4 Magic and Contracts part 2.

"What exactly do you mean by there is another reason?!" Silver said and you could almost feel the temperature drop.

"W-wait let me explain!!" Celica said to try and calm him down, to which he did making the atmosphere much calmer.

"Explain!" he said in a calm and interesting reason though any person who saw his eyes at this moment would shiver if they were weak.

"Sigh..... As I already explained to you we are null fairies, but what I did not say is that given our ability to wield every element at once we need a lot of purified aether; and as the in the air is raw, it is not refined hence we have to refine it ourselves to stay alive, but that is now a problem for both myself and Silvia" Celica sounded like she was in grave danger as she completed that sentence to which Silvers' eyes shot up with a radian gloss.

"To put it simply, we are dying. As null fairies, we need to consume almost 5 times the amount of Aether that normal elemental fairies would need to thrive and as for how you can help that we can sense when rich sources are close and that rich and close Aether source is you although its purity is rather a mystery, we also believe you can help this little guy we found!" Celica finished, giving him a baby phoenix he could instinctually feel was several dozens of times stronger than he was, leaving Silver with a baffled expression on what she had said and given him.

Silver contemplated on what Celica had just said to him, trying to understand what he should do and how he should go about doing it looking at the baby phoenix in his hand he tried to feed it some Aether based on what Celica had just said while slowly trying to feel the Aether unexpectedly leading to an Aether burst. This instantly caused an uncontrollable surge of Aether to explode into the surrounding leaving a somewhat golden color.

"Celica what should we do... If this continues he will die!!" Silvia said in a grave tone, though what she did not know was that the most that would happen are him fainting due to his rapid regen and celestial body.

"I guess the only way for us to help him is for us to sign a soul contract, but we need him to give the slightest consent as to start the contract in the first place!" Celica said in a worried tone trying to which she heard silver slightly say "do it". To which Celica looked at Silver in pain, appalled by his will to endure but quickly snapped out of it and called on Silvia to start the ritual.

On the other hand, the Pheonix was rapidly and greedily consuming his Aether and you could physically see it grow in size as every second went by. It had now gotten beyond Rank 8 and its size was considerably massive before it slowed down absorbing the aether as it needed to progress on its own from here on out. That being said due to divine purity of his aether it had mutated and had white flames, Blood red feathers, and a gold-colored body. It had a look of dominance and royalty was someone to look in its eyes making it all the more intimidating.

Right on queue Celica and Silvia finished the Chant, Sealing his powers and only leaving a portion of it which was what he could control at the moment as to prevent another aether burst, so in short while other fairies act as boosters to those they rarely contract. He on the other hand needed two of them to act as limiters.

Celica and Sivia were also awakened one of his beast companions as to act as the third limiter, this was a white eastern dragon with glowing blue markings that flowed from tip to toe of its' body as for the rank, it was six at the moment but upgradeable and this was only 1 out of 6 of his best companions.

2 days later...

Silver had awoken to find an enormous flaming bird in front of him scaring him half to death, but he quickly understood where it came from, right before he noticed the white looking snake coiled up on his arms looking at him as its master. Strangely though he could feel a connection to it and then a thought hit him and he remembered what Celica had told him about companions.

"Speaking of Celica, where is she? also where is Silvia?" He asked though not directing the question specifically at anyone.

Right on queue they both mysteriously appear beside him on the eye-level disclosing where they were.

"We are now bound to you by the soul contract hence our powers are yours to use as you please, and as we are now acting as limiters to your never-ending supply of Aether; which in turn keeps us alive, the strange thing is that your mana looks somewhat like the stars itself which are unheard of but we can feel it is by far the purest there is as we don't feel any impurities whatsoever," Silvia said to which Silver nodded in acknowledgment.

"That being said we need to teach you basic control, condensation, and meditation to help you gain some insight as to how to control your Aether, so you do not use an ounce above what you need. But right now you should start with meditation to regulate and equalize your Aether pool, as we all probably don't want that to repeat itself." Celica followed up, saying this.

Silver had nodded in agreement with what Celica had said as he knew and wanted to get some degree of control over his magic, as he wanted to find out the limits to what he could do with his magic. little did he know that his limits were linked directly to his imagination.

Thinking about this he then realized he had entered and even settled in this cave without exploring its interior. As he walked deeper into the cave, he noticed a red glow a little further ahead into this cave causing him to instantly speed up the pace, highly interested in what lies ahead.
