26 Chap 24

The weekend passed without any more incidents, Drake just stayed rest of it inside his suitcase studying and playing with his beasts. He only would go out to lunch or dinner with Scarlett, Cho, and Katie. Katie and Cho Knew that something happened, and they knew it had something to do with the Dragon roar. After all, only Drake had a Dragoness as his beast and the tense moments between Jade and Scarlett weren't hard to notice. He also taught Katie how to manipulate the spells better. Scarlett was still little perturbed about what happened, but Drake talked to her about that and other things. Cho preferred to read a few books and hang out with Cedric then learn more spell.

Another thing he noticed when he was not reading, studying or playing inside his space was that his dad or Peeves didn't come to talk or bother him.

During the day, Drake told Katie, Cho, and Scarlett to meet him near Hagrid hut. He and Scarlett would only start the punishment on Monday, so they still had some time to talk about Wednesday. They would talk with the twins tomorrow too since they had disappeared after the dinner, probably to prank someone.

Later at the meeting point Drake, Cho, Katie, and Scarlett were all sitting while Hagrid made a tea and then went outside to take care of fluffy who has been a little lonely since Star didn't show up.

"Well, I marked this meeting with all of you because of yesterday. Something happened." Begun Drake talking after a few moments of awkward silence.

"I and Scarlett are in detention after classes until the end of this year. That's why we will have to change our future plans. Maybe on Wednesday we will have our day off since its Halloween but even, so we need to make some contingency plans," continued Drake.

"What happened for you two be in detention and what are you going to do?" asked Cho.

"I bet it has something with yesterday's growls," said Katie.

"You got that right Katie!" said Scarlett before Drake could answer.

"You can blame me for that, it was my fault…" continued Scarlett.

"No, it wasn't! It was also my and Jade fault, after all, it was Jade who challenged you first…" interject Drake.

"What?! Why does a dragon need to challenge you?! Unless you…" said Cho before she stopped and started to look between Drake and Scarlett. She probably discovered why the two were fighting but it missed a little detail since they never heard of an animal assuming a human form, so it was impossible to associate Scarlett to be a Dragon.

"Damn girl, you should have pissed off Jade for good and it seems that Drake here is guilty too," said Katie.

"That doesn't matter anymore, the shit is done, and we cannot escape from that. Seeing the positive side, Scarlett will be working with Madam Pince in the library which she can access the forbidden part of it with a little luck and a few breaking spells. And I will be working with Mr. Fish which I can access to his office and search for some clues about the vaults since Ill be going around the school with him." Said Drake with a smirk on his face

"Damn! I feel sorry for you Drake working with him hahhaahahah!" replied Katie laughing.

"That's it's a very good plan although you will be working with him and you Scarlett…the access to all those books…maybe I should break some rules too hihihihihi!" said Cho giggling.

"You can perhaps take a few books for us to read" continued Cho while she looked at Scarlett. If a person would pay attention to her eyes would see that they were twinkling.

While Drake and the trio were talking in the hut, Dumbledore was in his office looking to the papers on top of his secretary. Fawkes was by his side being stroke by him with a look of happiness in her face.

"Damn that brat! He was so dense, where did I fail to rise him" rambled Dumbledore when he looked at the papers coming from the Ministry. Next week the Ministry would send someone from the Department of Regulation and Control of magic creatures to investigate what happened yesterday.

"And these guys were quick, some teacher must have said something…"

"Let's hope that they send someone that can see through the Animagus form and hope that they buy the same story I told the teachers. He shouldn't be able to break the seals this week so I'm not very worried about them to discover the beasts inside his suitcase."

"Well, I also need to warn Hagrid about them maybe I should help him hiding Fluffy inside the school:"

After rambling a few more words, he finished his monologue and went out of his office after stroking one last time Fawkes and to put his memories in the Pensieve.

Somewhere inside the forbidden forest, there was a cave in the ground. One could see light ember coming from inside of it and if someone entered it, they would see that the cave walls were all painted with some strange drawings. Most of the drawings were about a bunch of figures all dressed in black which they were forming a circle and in the middle of it, a diagram full of ancient runes.

At the end of the cave, a figure could be seen sitting on a dark and old secretary with a book in his hand and a few letters spread all over the secretary. The figure was covered in black and only his two red eyes could be seen from the hood. One of the letters was signed at the bottom with an R.

The figure finished reading the book and then grab one of the letters. After reading it he started to laugh like a maniac.

"Well, I only wait for two years until someone started to search the vaults again hehehehe! I hope that this time they find the last vault after the last failure. Maybe I should test this bunch."

After they finished the meeting, in Hagrid's hut, Drake and the girls said the goodbyes and went to their respective dorms. Drake and Katie were together until they arrived at Gryffindor dorms and went each went to their respective dorm. Drake after checking if anyone was watching him entered the suitcase, tonight he was only going to play a little bit with hid beasts and then go to sleep since last night he was up almost all night looking at the runes used to sealing his beasts and making new alchemy experiments and a few potions. He also studied more advancing spells of DADA. He was eager to tomorrow since he was hoping that the reply letters from his uncles would arrive tomorrow.
