Mind Games: The Final Act! (Part 4/4)

"Long time no see, Alyx." Kariya grinned.

Alyx's eyes widened, he couldn't believe what he was seeing! Then, another familiar face appeared!

"Father! We're here to help!" Mabel exclaimed.

As Mabel and Kariya added more energy to the attack, The Overdrive Bomb grew larger than what anyone could've ever imagined! Arlen looked up at this grand display of light, he grabbed Shoto and held him hostage.

"You wouldn't dare! I have one of your precious friends, you wouldn't risk their life to defeat me, I know that for a fact!" Arlen shouted.

"You must think I'm not aware of how my Quirk works, dumbass! My attacks can only truly harm those who aren't pure hearted, which means you're through!" Alyx retorted.

"OVERDRIVE BOMB!" Alyx roared.

He threw the attack towards Vibraine. Shoto jabbed his elbow into Arlen's stomach and ran! Arlen looked up as the Overdrive Bomb grew closer to him. He held his staff out and kept the attack back! Annie flew up and joined the others, but they still needed more power!

"I'm going in!" Alyx shouted.

"W-What? What do you mean?" Mabel asked.

Alyx went into Overdrive: Speed Bound and appeared behind Arlen. He put him into a Full Nelson Lock and entered Mode Three. Arlen tried to struggle, but he couldn't get him off!

"L-Let go of me! What are you doing?!" Arlen yelled.

Vibraine grew annoyed, and the Onyx Gem shined and blasted Alyx backwards. Bakugo caught Leonidus and they both looked on at Vibraine.

"Bakugo, I... I need your help!" Alyx pleaded.

"About damn time! Give it to me, now!" Bakugo smirked.

Alyx gave Bakugo some of his Overdrive and both of them stood up. They reeled their fists back and charged towards Vibraine!

"Overdrive: Mode Four, Full Power!!" They both exclaimed.

Their fists sparkled and lit up with blue and white light! Their eyes flared out Overdrive!

"SUPERNOVA..." Both of them yelled.

"...FIST!!!" They connected against Vibraine's back!

The combination of the dual Supernova Fist and Overdrive Bomb shook the entire country of Japan! A huge blueish-white mushroom cloud covered the city of Musutafu! Alyx and Bakugo stood in a newly formed crater, Alyx fell over but Bakugo caught him.

*LEONIDUS' P.O.V.*

"T-Thanks... Bakugo!" I smiled.

It seemed like we did it! As the smoke cleared...

"W-WHAT THE?!" I shouted.

Arlen was still standing there; his entire body was steaming! I couldn't believe it! I remembered what Grandpa Tanjiro told me, that plan he had, it could very well work! It took me everything I had to move my body to rush towards him. As I got there, he turned around, perfect! I quickly put my hand on his forehead and entered into the Seventh Plane. I opened my eyes and I was in an alleyway? Police cars were scattered across the area and there was a small boy sitting in the middle of the crime scene. He was wiping his eyes and crying. Was this... Arlen's failure? I looked down at my suit, thankfully it wasn't destroyed, so I didn't look like some random guy off the street. I approached him, I crossed over the caution tape and knelt down beside him.

"Hey, it's gonna be okay, I promise!" I reassured him.

He looked up at me, "B-But... That's what all the heroes say! And they don't mean it! They don't mean anything!"

I looked to the side, then back at Arlen, "You're right, that's what they say. And many of them really don't mean it."

His face changed from sorrow to surprise. I guess he didn't expect me to agree with him.

"But... Let me tell you something that separates those people from the real heroes. Those 'heroes' are only in it for the fame, money, pretty much every luxury around here. A REAL hero promises to protect the ones they love, no matter who or what they are. I've met a lot of real heroes, kid." I explained.

I smiled at him, "I promised my friends, family, pretty much everyone that I'd protect them no matter what. Momo, Izuku, Kiko, Kirishima, just to name a few of them. Let me make one to you, I promise we'll find whoever did this."

He stopped crying and he grabbed my hand.

"You've got a name, kid?" I asked.

"A-Arlen, sir." He told me.

We walked out of the alleyway and he asked me a question.

"Leonidus... Could I become a hero?" Arlen questioned.

"Of course. I think you'd be a great hero. It'll take time, but I'm fairly certain that you can do it." I smiled.

We passed into the light, I opened my eyes and Arlen was looking at me, my hand still placed on his forehead. Tears fell down his face as he finally smiled.

"Thank you... Alyx..." Arlen croaked.

I smiled softly at him, "I hope you're reborn as someone good someday, Arlen."

Arlen finally faded away, the sun broke through the greenish grey haze, and the air was calm and quiet. I sat down on the ground and let out a sigh of relief.

"Is he gone this time?" Jiro asked.

"Yeah, I don't feel his Heat Energy anymore. He's gone." I answered.

All he wanted was a hero to truly tell him that everything was alright, but not one hero showed up to help him. Maybe that's why Shigaraki was the way he was. I wonder if I did the same thing with him, maybe he would've changed.

Bakugo helped me up, "You alright, Amnesia?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." I muttered.

After we tended to the injured, Annie, Mabel, Kariya and I repaired the town. It didn't take us that long, thankfully. I didn't say much while we repaired the town, I was too busy thinking about this entire situation.

"Mabel, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Uncle Kariya contacted me through the Seventh Plane. I didn't know something like that existed!" Mabel responded

[30 Minutes Later...]

"Is everything alright, darling? You look exhausted." Momo asked.

I sighed and leaned into her thighs, "Well, what I did with Arlen... Do you think the same would've worked with Shigaraki? Could I have at least made him change his mind?"

"Maybe, but he was definitely influenced by All For One and his own motives. It would've been hard to do, but it definitely isn't out of the realm of possibilities." Momo replied as she combed through my hair with her fingers.

(I.R.P.: Listen to, "Flustered" from My Hero Academia)

"Momo," I spoke up, "Why are your thighs so squishy?"

Momo blushed wildly, "W-What?"

I looked up at her and smiled, "You're so cute when you're flustered!"

Springs shot out of her elbows, they bounced off of my bed and rolled onto my floor.

"That was... Unexpected." I noted.

"S-Sorry! I do that when I get flustered. I guess it's just a natural response?" Momo told me.

I leaned my head back into her thighs and looked at her, "It's still cute, though. But back to my question, why are you're thighs so squishy?"

"Are you suggesting something?" Momo wondered.

"No... What do you think I'm suggesting?" I replied.

She raised one of her eyebrows and lowered her reading glasses. I wasn't entirely sure what she was thinking.

I squeezed her thighs, "Whatever you're thinking, I disagree, do NOT change whatsoever."

"Were you thinking that I thought you were calling me overweight?" Momo asked.

"Even if you were, I'd love you all the same!" I smiled.

She smiled back at me, leaned forward and kissed my forehead. I heard my balcony door slide open and Sota walked in.

"O-Oh! I didn't mean to walk in on anything, Leonidus!" He quickly apologized..

I looked at him, "If you call this 'walking in' on someone... Ah, never mind, what's up?"

"I need help with... Um..." He muttered.

I sat up and so did Momo. He looked like he was in a bit of trouble. Was something wrong?

"Hm? What do you need help with?" I asked.

Sota twiddled his thumbs, "I need help with... A girl..."

"WHAT?!" I exclaimed.

I shot up and practically bear hugged Sota, "My little boy's in love! This is awesome! I think I'm gonna cry!"

"L-Leonidus... Sir... I-I think you're crushing my rib cage...!" Sota mumbled.
