Deveraux and Xenith couldn’t be more different, yet their paths cross as they are both in the interest of the High Warlock. When they finally meet him, he attempts to send Xenith to a horrible, magicless world, sending Deveraux along with him. Being the son of the most powerful elf and most dangerous warlock, even half of Deveraux’s magic is more than enough to slay a whole kingdom, if he knew how to use it. They meet the strange mundanes, called Sarah Anne and Maxwell, in the world named Earth. Starting lifelong friendships, or whatever. When they finally return to Kaiden, yet another problem awaits them.
