14 Chapter 13

Laura's POV

I am thinking about the first ever promise we made.

The first promise that " H King" group made was

" We will avenge your parents. When we will grow up ".

Now , that the time to full fill the promise came Laura and Julie left her alone .

Sure, they said they will help her after Lara's marriage but they never realized that for the time she will not be here.

Laura is sitting in a small cafe while playing chess alone .

She is both , white and black.

After looking at her board , she stood up and walked out .

Only if she can play with Sana .

The way she smiles mischievously even when Laura Knows that killing her Queen won't help.

She huffed and looked down .

Her eyes started to fill with unshed years as she thinks of her besties.

Now , that they are no longer together it hurts her.

Not even once Julie called and not for once Sana laughed at her.

She didn't fell clumsy at all but she wants to.

She wanna slip and fell .

So, that her friends can help her up and laugh at her .

She wanna laugh with them even if she will laugh at her own clumsiness.

She looked up and the scene in front of her is horrible.

An old man is laying on the ground bleeding from head very severely.

His SUV is ruined and the one who did it ran away.

Whole street is silent not even one car or cycle today.

People should have heard that sound but every one is still inside.

There is only one person and that is her.

She pick up her peace and run to him .

His eyes are partly open and he is trying to breath.

She called the ambulance but the signals are not there .

She checked his pulses and tried to stop his bleeding by rapping his head carefully with the extra hijab she has with her.

When she sees that it is not working she placed her fingers and tried to his bleeding.

The wave of hypertension hitted her hard.

" THERE IS NO SIGNALS!". She shouted frustratingly.

That old man looked at her and said " you should go home ."

She looked down in disbelief.

" NO!" She screams .

He tried to smile and say

" Then.. just click .. the side button of ... My phone "

He said with the intervals of breath.

She looked around carefully and found his phone .

It was in no condition to use but nonetheless she clicked the button after examining it.

She looked around but nothing happened.

She is trying not to give up .

She can't she is not the victim.

" Sir, Sir! Just don't give up yet .

Think about the things you wanna do .

Think about the memories of your family and friends.

You can't give up!

I am here , I won't let anything happen to you ".

He started to close his eyes and his uneven breathing started to fade .

The pain that started in her heart reached her left and right arms and then hands.

She started crying and placed her head on his heart .

" No!, No!" That's all she say.

Suddenly, three to four SUVs came and stopped there.

Some men came and pushed her aside while picking him .

She didn't notice the ambulance they bring.

She hurriedly stood up and walked to the nurse who was speaking with a man.

" His blood pressure was " 59/81'' and the main injury is on his hind brain. He has lost alot of blood .

You will need to inject at least two bottles for now to stable the patient ".

I ignored the man who was speaking to him and said this to him.

" You have to come with us .

Fast!" He said and pulled me inside the ambulance van.

I didn't utter a single word .

I just followed and hope that he will be fine now .

God will save him .

They took him inside and left me out side after listening to what I said earlier.

Almost my whole body is covered in blood and I don't think I should sit here on these bunched.

I didn't realize that the man from earlier was looking at me during all this .

When I looked at him for a moment his whole dominor changed and anger took over him.

He came toward me as predator and I took two steps back .

I stopped when my back hit the wall and placed my arms in front of me in a protecting manner.

He stopped right in front of me only one foot away and said

" Look at me ".

Surprisingly I did.

" Now tell me everything from the start or else I will kill you ".

He ordered and took out his gun .

My eyes widened and my whole body started shivering.

" I was. I was just trying to help him because I was the o-only one t-there ".

I finished my explanation while sttutring on my words.

He looked at me and then placed his gun on the side of my head rather hardly that it hurts.

" ONLY TRUTH!" He shouted next.

That's all is needed for my trembling heart and I my tears started coming.

I looked at him angrily while trying to clear my eyes .

" I don't care what you say.

I said the truth and now if you hurts me . You will hurt someone who is innocent in this case ".

I replied with my trembling lips.

His eyes widened at my response and he looked at me amusingly .

But before he can reply I find my

Legs giving up and darkness consuming me .

I feel two soft yet rough hands wipping my tears and calling for nurse .
