(Suprise mother fucker.)

"I'm heading out mom!'' Rei called from the front door, there was a click before rapid feet hit against the floor came down the wooden-floored hall. His mother Yuko came down the hall at a fast pace, a puff of smoke following her as she seemed to have just put something into a scroll. Reaching him she pushed his cheeks together.

With his squished face she leaned down, pulling him up as she smashed her lips against his face, covering him in kisses. Rei let this happened, he learned better than to try and stop his mom from kissing him all over his face, never piss off the mother who's a trained killer. Once she finished she pulled back, letting him back to the balls of his feet. ''Did you back everything?"

"Yesh.'' His voice came out as smooshed as his face was.

''All your tools, all your medical supplies, all your Fuinjutsu supplied? You've even brought the oils and items to maintain your equipment?"

This time he just nodded, this time she pulled him into her arms, being careful of the small belly already showing. ''Ooohhh, why do they have to send you to war?"

''Mom, I've already been a part of the war.''

''Sneaking as an Anbu, and frontal battle are two different things, understand? Even your idiot of a father knows this. I'm just... worried, I'll be all alone in this house, unsure if I'll be able to see the two most important men in my life return..." He pulled back, setting his hands onto her shoulders, and gave a strong squeeze, his stature may have been small, but his strength was strong, giving the firm an assuring squeeze she needed.

''We'll be fine Mom, I won't have Shimaki Sensei with us, but I'm ready. I'll make sure I bring back both Kakashi and Ochi alive, alright?"

She smiled at him before she leaned in, kissing his forehead before she spoke. ''I hope so, please be safe my little 'Oni'.'' She snickered at the name, before she stood up, passing him the storage scroll. ''At least a month's worth of food, be sure to eat right, share with your team."

He smiled at her before he jumped up with ease, kissing her forehead back, just as his father does when he leaves before he charged out. ''LOVE YOU MOM!" He then peeled out, leaving the door open.

As she stepped forward, sliding the door shut behind him, just as it clicked her hand wavered a bit, but she caught her shaking hand with her free one. Clenching the both of them as she brought it closer to herself, a few tears falling as she turned, walking deeper into the house.

Rei, Orochimaru, and Kakashi were running alongside a large fighting force, heading towards the border of Iwagakure, this was to be the final push. Just a bit more and they could get the peace treaty to be signed that would lead to the twenty-year peace. Rei was trying to think of ways to prevent the worst from happening, and possibly to make it so the second and third wars never actually happened.

"Deep in your thoughts, Rei?'' It was Kakashi who spoke, wearing the same outfit he had worn during cannon when he was younger, he had a hand constantly on the hilt of his sword, just in case at any point he needed to draw it.

Orochimaru seemed interested in the conversation and looked over to his teammates and friends. At first, Rei was a means to an end, with Rei's clone technique he was able to not only ride of his own weak body but also help his parents slowly get stronger from the disease they were suffering from. They had become friends when he learned that through these two, he would continue to strive to be stronger, always better.

"Somewhat, I've been thinking of making a new style of Taijutsu, a mix of hard and swift strikes, actually took a bit of interest from the Hyuga's gentle fist..."

Orochimaru grinned, Kakashi did his eye smile. Orochimaru spoke, however. ''Interesting, if it's something coming from you, it must be interesting, why not share it?''

Kakashi nodded along, Rei was an amazing sensor type, Orochimaru had his instincts sharply honed, and Kakashi's reaction speed was on par with the future Minato. So they were able to stay aware even while speaking like this.

''So, as we know, a Hyuga's gentle fist aims for the Tenketsu to disrupt and halt the flow of chakra, each stance closing more until you're unable to use chakra, correct? They channel chakra to their fingers to help with the impact and the disruption."

A few of the ones running around them also became interested, including a Hyuga that was running behind them.

''Well, this technique would require either a massive amount of chakra or a great sensor ability. A more brutal form of the Gentle fist, instead of pinpoint strikes, instead focuses on blast of chakra. We know that channeling too much chakra into your foot while tree running can cause it to break the bark, well what if we refined that?''

The Hyuga behind them spoke, a Jonin. ''A good idea, using it correctly could not only disrupt an enemies flow of chakra and prevent them from molding chakra with the same skill but depending on the density of the chakra could even cause internal injuries.''

Rei nodded, the light of Orochimaru's eyes glinting as he thought of the possibilities. Kakashi was still listening but lost interest, he enjoyed Taijutsu, sure. But this method seemed a little too brutal for him.

(Kek, he's used to piercing.)

''Now I see you said good sensory or an insane amount of chakra. Even with refinement, turning this into a proper style could be chakra draining, only used if you have chakra to waste, or know when to strike at the right time." Orochimaru spoke, which Rei responded to with a nod.

''Exactly, I'm still working it out in my head, but the basic idea is there, I plan to refine it down to the full method, and include it into a kata, once I get them both down I plan to sell it to the Uchiha's. With their Dojutsu and above-average chakra, it'd be a great addition to their arsenal.''

A girl to their right laughed out loud, it was a Chunin from the Uchiha's. ''Kid, if you can do that, I'll take you out to eat!''

Rei grinned, that money-grubbing grin, bringing a hand forward he rubbed his index and thumb together. ''How about just buying the book off me once I sell it? I'm already interested in someone.''

The group around them laughed, and Orochimaru's eyes flashed as he squinted. ''Our lovely Barbarian Princess Tsunade, or our Phoenix Queen Mei?''

Rei chuckled, giving nothing away as they continued to run. ''Mm, I wonder?"

Soon they got to a forward camp

"Orochimaru, help with the strategy meeting, only interject if you're absolutely sure you can bring something to the table." With a nod from Orochimaru, he dashed away toward the strategy table. It might be strange for a Genin to be allowed to talk, but these were Genin trained directly under Tobirama, even if it was only for the time he could.

''Kakashi, help with supplies and inventory management, I heard that in the last push they lost their head inventory, you're good with numbers, use them.'' Kakashi nodded before Rei went to check their team in, before making his way into the medical tent.

The moment he entered and the flap closed behind him there were many grunts and shouts, some from the wounded, others from the overworked medical-nin, despite the war they were a rare breed, only becoming more common in the coming years. He pulled out his official Iyro Nin badge, taking off his jacket and over clothing and sealing it into a storage scroll he did the disinfection seal, cleansing his hands and his body so he could get to work.

The first person he went to was someone around his age, in tears, the boy had a dislocated shoulder. ''Why aren't they helping me?'' Without another word, he released a scream as Rei, in a quick movement relocated his arm. ''They teach basic medicine, including relocating in the basic class, you should know this. You are lightly wounded, they focus on the worst wounded first. Get out of here.'' With a move, he pulled the kid away and shoved him out of the tent.

He would be focusing on the lightly wounded first, the ones he could get out quickly. Only using Mystical palms when he NEEDED to use it. As he got a lot of the lightly wounded out faster and faster, at one point he didn't even describe what he was doing, he just fixed them and sent them out. Soon the medical tent was running a lot smoother, to the relief of the medical ninja running around, it was much easier to hear, and much easier to get around. Rei, checking the time cleaned his hands before he joined as a nurse in a few of the surgeries, he had a few hours before he had to be there for the official meeting, and with that time he would help as he could.

''ALRIGHT PEOPLE! LISTEN UP, THIS IS THE PLAN!''

Rei was standing with his team, with his arms crossed as someone on a raised earth platform was speaking about how it would go.

Kakashi was leaned against a crate, reading a romantic novel, giggling occasionally and Orochimaru was currently poking at Rei with a small wooden chopstick, poking here and there on his back or arms before writing something down.

Rei was currently listening to 'Party in the USA' for no reason at all really, other than to do so. His finger tapping at the beat as he remained in his own thoughts.

'I wonder if I could use my abilities to fly... Technically it's possible, I can float with them, I should just be able to lower my mass and weight, and then pull myself in a certain direction?'

He was broken out of his thoughts when he heard Orochimaru ask a question. ''You know Rei, compared to all the other boys in our year... You seem much more different... Almost... Perfect?''

Rei grinned, being reminded of the Cannon Orochimaru. ''I'm sorry Chi-Chan, I care for you, truly I do but I do not swing that way.'' There was a snicker from Kakashi before Orochimaru seemed to pout. ''That's not what I meant, it's like your genetic structure is just... Better?"

Kakashi spoke this time. ''Have you seen his parents? Your parents are handsome and pretty sure. But Rei's mom is a total beauty, she's ranked as the number one beauty in Konoha right now. His father the third most handsome Ninja in the village after Tobirama and Madara."

Orochimaru seemed to take a thinking pose, tapping the wooden chopstick against his chin. ''That's a good point... I guess some people are just blessed with good genetics? His black hair, brown eyes that sometimes look red when he's excited, great prowess in Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, Fuinjutsu, and great accomplishments in Genjutsu, Kenjutsu, and has already made two new Fuinjutsu seals, not including the secret ones, and a mysterious all be it very powerful blood release.'' Orochimaru sighed, shaking his head.

Rei lifted his shoulders. ''Not my fault, truly. It's a curse to look this good. With your pretty looks Chi-Chan, and Shi-Shi's 'Cool bad boy' look, you both see how it was to be as handsome as this young master.''

Kakashi, and Orochimaru both thought back to the trouble Rei dealt with due to his looks and talent, either rage from the boys, or admiration, lust, and constant confessions from the girls. The both of them shivered. Kakashi adding a point.

''I told you we should all wear masks, it'd make it much easier for us.'' Orochimaru shook his head as he spoke.

''Whereas I don't enjoy the attention, I feel something about using a mask would only cause more problems.. I already get mistaken as a girl.''

Rei chuckled, shaking his head. Soon they were all gathered up and making sure everything was ready, they began to march to the determined 'Ground' where the fight would take place.

Using his enhanced sight, Rei watched the horizon, watching the also approaching Iwagakure side, only for a shiver to leave Rei as he noticed someone, standing near the front of the enemy's side, cursing loud enough for everyone to hear around him. ''Fuck! Of course, the first battle is lead by Mu! The damned hide and seek ninja!!"
