1 Prologue- Excerpt from Reverend J. Whittaker's The Great Collapse

Near 1500 years have passed since the return of the Old Ones, to this day we still hold vigil for the lost. Not just the men and women but our blissfull, unaware existence, from our eden to now facing unfiltered raw reality everyday. When the first, Abwennakke, rose the great powers of Earth all thought the others had finally developed a bigger stick, and so the nuclear warheards took flight. Mutually assured destruction imminent, people bowed their heads in prayer as mountains collapsed and the Old Ones rose up from their resting places. As the first of the warheads hurtled down towards Siilcrest (in that day the city of London) Siil himself raised his palm and commanded "STOP". And so the warheads were neutralised and humanity was safe. Safe to live under the heel of the Old Ones and their children, roused from their sleep by the clamour of billions of souls, too loud to ignore and much too tantalising to slip through to any Others. Thus began the New Age.
