CHAPTER 09 Castle And Frist Blood

But five days later, I sent 120 Karkens on a mission to collect as much treasure as possible without sinking any ships. My Ravens have already informed me that Illyrio Mopatis have dragon eggs. He is very young and rational, so he always tells his friends that his family has dragon eggs, just to feel superior. Fools, all of them are fools. making my work even easier. and I also got her location.

But before going there, I wanted to do something. I had to perform a few tests, grab my new sword, and see what more the castle holds, especially the Salvia I wished for.

So, with those thoughts, and with just one thought, the huge castle appeared in front of me. I have to say it looked beautiful beyond belief. It was nearly one-fourth the size of the camps I built, and believe me when I say this, my camp is massive.

With mountains and forests in one place, it takes so long and so much gold to fortify the place, even when I have the best men and massive animals working together day and night. Even when I give some of my hours to build the walls, they are huge, as I don't want anyone to even eyeball what goes on inside.

Without wasting any second, I jumped on the grounds of my new castle. 

When I looked in front of me, I had to say what a view he really gave me, everything related to him in its best and first conditions.

As in front was something that people would call a horror or work of the devil. Some would be disgusted, some would vomit, some would fear beyond belief, and some would even die just looking at the horrors in front of me.

All had the same distance space between each other, the way they were inlined, and how much force should be used. They pierced the bone but not too much, so they could remain hanging without falling down. And all of them were hanged in different ways.

However, on the inside, I was startled. I thought I would be disgusted by myself, horrified, or even guilty. But I felt nothing of those. All I felt was the adrenaline rushing through my veins as I looked at my new castle.

If you ignore the cruelty, it was all a piece of art. And soon the stream power started. I looked up and saw the sparks of thunder, showing the modern castle. Dracula really had vast knowledge of the world, not just in science but also magic. The knowledge he gained in his melania old life.

The building is both a technological and supernatural marvel; from its exterior, it can be seen to incorporate electricity and advanced mechanics in its workings.

So with great excitement, I moved forward. I didn't know how fast I was because of my excitement, but in an instant, I reached the gates of the castle and again they were huge, just like everything in this place.

And without my touching, the gates opened, and I walked forward. Once I was inside, the gates closed behind my back, and all the lights in the entrance hall turned on.

Even when I can easily summon less power and where to store it, it was a good decision to ask for everything with it, one of the most important decisions of my life.

All of this shows how smart she is, and she has all the emotions that one could only see in creatures with smartness, not in an AI. And it also shows that she is as capable of showing these emotions as anyone out there.

He really made her like this, and I say I like it, as I would rather have a sweet female voice than a bland robotic voice.

And soon, I was there. It was divided into many sections, each storing different things such as weapons, wine, treasure, and many more things. And what I was looking for was none of this, so I had to go deeper into the storage.

As I walked forward, the air started to change, as it started to become cold, which was enough to tell me this was the food section. 

And soon I was in front of the thing I was looking for. The coldness here was at its maximum level. This was a long hallway, the hallway seemed to have no end if you looked at it with human eyes. Most of the place was filled with huge containers filled with blood. All of them were cold containers.

This shows how well the blood was preserved here, not just by cold alone, but also by some kind of magic. And it wasn't just blood here, as there are animals in the lower levels of this castle.

I can feel the presence, or more precisely, the blood. Getting back to the current situation, I was drooling. And the blood here was in enormous quantities, and all of it was human blood. The sweet aroma of it all had me excited, in fact, I got a boner. 

This was my testing place, as I wanted to see if I had a blood lust or not. If I had enough blood to satisfy my hunger, this should work, but let's take some safety measures first.

"Salvia, please lock down the whole castle. And if you see me losing control and it gets harder to stop me, please throw me somewhere where no human life is within the next few miles," I spoke.

As I spoke, the windows closed and then thick metal sheets covered them. I heard the sound of the doors shutting down and soon they were also covered by thick metal that came out from outside of the castle. Soon the whole place was locked.

I walked inside, grabbed one of the canisters, and walked towards the chair in the room. I took out a fine wine glass from my inventory and with one swipe, I cut through the hard metal like a sheet of paper. I looked at the nearest barrel of blood.

And when I saw the red blood, I didn't know what happened to me. I instantly threw the glass away and grabbed the whole barrel. The overwhelming sweet aroma of blood wafted into my nose. Unfortunately, this was followed by the overwhelming urge to drink blood, possibly my bloodlust.

But this never happened before. It's not like I haven't seen blood before, I've seen blood since I was two months old. I've spilled so much blood that I've forgotten how many I've killed. And it's not just human blood, but beasts as well. In the sparring sessions I've been in, I've used all my power and they've died. And this has happened more than once.

And wherever I killed, I drained all the blood from their bodies and that blood is safely placed in my inventory, as I didn't want to take any chances of me losing in front of blood and going feral. And as I knew this could be an age thing, I've preserved all the blood I could. And in all those preserving times, I never felt like this before. The blood I've stored is nearly a thousand litres, a lot of blood. I've killed hundreds of people and many animals and collected around a thousand litres of blood

So, what happened to me? I didn't know as I started gulping down the blood. It tastes like the sweetest thing in the world. I cannot come close to describing the taste of blood in simple language. As I held up the three-metre-tall barrel with one hand, I began gulping it down.

As I continued to drink barrel after barrel, ignoring the god-forsaken feeling of nausea, I soon got covered in blood from it spilling while I was drinking. My hair was sticky with blood while my skin was literally glistening from the amount of blood coating it. I was drinking like a wild beast.

I felt something I never felt before, I felt I was growing stronger. At first, it was barely noticeable, but barrel after barrel, I started to feel that I was really growing stronger. It was barely any power, but power nonetheless.

Blood Essence is the blood energy I absorb when drinking someone's blood. 

The stronger and healthier the person, monster, or god is, the more essence I gain from his blood.

An average human back on earth has only half a point of blood Essence/ power per litre of blood, while an average person here in Game of Thrones/ the Song of Ice and Fire has 1. 

The average Dothraki should have around 3-4, while the strong Dothraki, like Khal Drogo, should have about 8 or 10 per litre of blood.

A human has anywhere from 4.5 to 5 litres of blood in their body. 2 litres could be extracted easily upon killing a human, 3 litres if we milk him some more. 

The rest of the blood is absorbed into the tissues and stuck in capillaries so that it would be too messy and time-consuming to extract any more than 3 litres of blood from a human.

But opposite to that, animals have a lot of blood. 

Even the average bear here has 80 litres of blood without my enhancements, and if I add my enhancements, this number can go up to 100 to 110 litres of blood in a bear alone.

This means magical creatures would give me astronomical amounts of blood essence, especially gods, but further investigation will need to be carried out to determine an accurate number.

After one hour of drinking later, as I was about to grab the next barrel, I stopped myself, took a deep breath, and sat down on the chair as I looked at all the blood in front of me.

Cold sweat ran down my spine. It wasn't the fact that I could drain someone dry that terrified me, I don't give two shits about their life, it's that I could have gone on wild hunting and someone from the cast came in front of me and I sucked him dry screwing up everything.  It could happen almost unconsciously.

After half an hour of sitting in peace, I had enough to drink for today. I got up and looked at the mess. The whole chair was bloody, I was bloody. If someone saw me now they would certainly think I'm some kind of Demon from the pits of hell. 

But I didn't care about such things as tastes were done and I'm most happy with the results. The conclusions were great as not only do I not have any blood lust or feral state but also I can grow stronger even by consuming normal blood, even if it needs to be in large quantities and strength is barely noticeable.

So the next thing I did was I started to pull all the blood from the ground, chair, and my body

and soon all of it collected into a ball of blood hovering in front of me. Next I pulled all the dust or anything that got mixed with the blood and after that put the blood into an empty barrel.

Even though I was fully clean I still felt somewhat dirty, so next, I pulled the water from the air, which was full of immunity as if it was the air of the sea. Then I cleaned myself with water and dried myself. I made my body hotter by vaporizing all the water on me, and put a new set of clothes on to dry the water around me. Powers do really make life easier. 

I then put every barrel in my inventory as it will remain fresh inside. And also unaffected by the flow of time.

So I walked back leaving empty storage behind. Once I was in the entrance hall, {So it was successful, Master} Asked Salvia in a very happy voice as if she was happy with my success which she was...

So I couldn't help but smile, "Indeed It was Salvia, now I know more about myself, but let's put that matter aside for now and tell me about the list," I asked her as I started to walk around.

{ There are too many books, weapons, tools, etc here, and scanning every one of them might take some time, but I'm mostly done with most of the things, So if you don't give me some time, I have to explore every book and every detail about weapons.}

But not for long as they are part of this world so they needed to be conquered, I then met one of my Ravens who was keeping eyes on the house of Mopatis, So with him meeting me out of the city. 

We both flew to the house of Mopatis. while we were flying there he informed me about the security around the eggs, and I have to say it wasn't much. as no people were protecting the eggs and they were in a vault.
