18 Chapter 18

The last part was interview. It went smoothly for Ban and Chopper. They were just asked about their quirks and why they want to be a heroes. Ban and Chopper answers are the same even though they didn't have interview together. They just answered that they admired heroes and wish to be one. Ban knows that it's impossible for U.A. to reject them because unlike other examinees, they actually had an achievement in hero's activities as medical heroes. The only way for any of them to fail is to flunk their previous tests. Ban had told Chopper to answer the interview if asked why he want to be hero so at least Chopper won't fail in the interview in case he flunked the written exam.

Ban and Chopper went home after the exam is finished. Nejire already went home after their practical exam are over. When they passed the gate they were greeted by Setsuna.

"Hey wanna go home together?" Setsuna asked Ban and Chopper.

"Sure. You want to ask about the interview right? I know you split your ears to eavesdrop our interviews right?"

"Eh! You didn't answer the exact same answer with us right?" Chopper asked Setsuna.

"I figures you will found out. Don't worry my answer is different from you two. How come the answers of you two are the same for your reason to be a hero? Are you that confident in entering U.A.?"

"I told Chopper to answer that way. You should have listened to our interview right? Then you should know that we have an achievement and I'm sure the school won't let us go." Ban answered with confidence.

"What is your achievements?

"Being born handsome." Ban answered shamelessly.

"Being born cute." Chopper followed after Ban with his answer.

"Those are not an achievement." Setsuna feels dejected because of their answer.

"Where's your home?" Ban asked Setsuna.

"In Saitama. It's not far but if I got accepted my parent told me to be independent and move out of the house. I'm thinking of where I should stay if I got accepted."

"You sure your parent didn't just kick you out of the house?" Ban curiously asked.

"I don't think so. They are just that kind of parent."

"Hey Tokage. If you want you can rent a room at our apartment. It's good to have friends, right Ban?" Chopper innocently asked Setsuna to stay at their place.

"You have an apartment?"

"We're actually the caretakers, the owner is our guardian. We're actually five orphans. None of us are blood related. One of us is a woman so it will be difficult if we all live together under one roof. We became the caretaker in exchange of five rooms in the apartment." Ban explained their circumstance.

"Oh is that so. Then I will call you if I got accepted." They soon began exchanging contacts. They walk together until they split at the station.

After a while they finally reached home. Their apartment is a ten room building with five rooms in the second floor and five others in the first floor. The rooms in the first floor are all used by Ban and the others and are connected by doors. From left to right they belong to Ban, then Law, Chopper in the middle, Meliodas, and Elizabeth in the last one. The rooms upstairs are for rent but right now no one rented them. Most of them were just rented for a month until the tenants found other apartment they thought to be better.

Chopper's room in the middle are used as dining room for the five of them. Right now only Ban, Chopper, and Law in the room because Meliodas and Elizabeth are taking exam out of town. Law was asking about the exam and Ban answered with confident he will pass, but Chopper is still unsure about the written exam. The result are coming in a few days via mail according to the school staff.

The next day Meliodas and Elizabeth were home. They said that they did well in the exam for Shiketsu high. Their results will be sent via mail as well in a few weeks. After they are all home, they just playing around until the results come.

Musica and the others also come to see how they were doing. They said that they will stay there for a while to see the results of the exam. They choose to stay in the empty rooms on the second floor until they go home.
