59 the war

for the next three years naruto and ikki went around the planet trying to find something that would give us clues about the shinobi, soon enough they found a scroll marked with the uzumaki swirl in a island with a gigantic rock tree which ikki immediately recognized as the tenrou island, they learned that when the ship was thrown into a different dimension , a demonic creature the size of the planet had tried to kill everything alive on the planet, but the shinobi along with the minor gods of the planet along with the newly evolved dragons fought against him, soon enough they managed to kill him and destroy his spaceship which was then thrown out of the solar system, however before he was defeated, the entity had managed to corrupt a few shinobi, gods and dragons which then turned into demons, thus the demon race was born, the shinobi then created the devil slayer magic to fight against the demons, however soon they were betrayed by their own allies, when the false god had degraded the shinobi into the mages, the minor gods saw this as an opertunity to topple the shinobi and become the strongest race on the planet but the shinobi had started to fight back against the other minor gods, that is how the god slayer magic was born, a magic that the shinobi had created to specifically deal with the minor gods, soon the war became even more big as the dragons had joined the frey because of the influence caused by that false god, thus the dragon slayer magic was created by a descendant of the uzumaki clan called irene belserion,

the two gods were shocked to find out the truth about this world, they also understood as to why the calendar had a x in front of the date , it was because the x stood for the era after the shinobi had degraded, that meant that it had already been over 800 years since the shinobi went extinct, naruto was extremely depressed, he had found hope that his people had survived but now it seems that they had truly died ,

after that ikki and naruto wandered the world to see how the descendants of the shinobi were living their lives, soon they learned about the guild called fairy tail,

they observed the guild for few years , they watched as it waged war against another guild for the sake of it's members, they watched as the girl called erza who naruto deduced to be his direct descendant was rescued from a possessed boy, they watched as they fought against the dark guild oracion seis, they watched how they were trapped in time at tenrou island, the grand magic games, tartarus, they kept watching, however when they fought againest an entire country lead by zeref, naruto could not take it anymore as he watched his descendants were tortured by the enemy ,

on the battlefield, a battered erza was fighting against demaria who had recovered from natsu's attacks

"get ready titania, i will not be showing you any mercy" she said , immediately she desappeared and reappeared behind erza and struck her hard, she continued to do this for sometime, erza was unable to keep up with her ability to wield time,

suddenly just as she was about to kill erza, she was covered in a gravitational field which froze her in mid air,

"shinra tensei!!" a calm but cold voice rang in the battlefield as demaria was thrown away a great distance, erza felt a warm energy envelop her and heal all of her injuries, she looked up to see a man who she could only regard as a god, floating in mid air, however she felt some sort of connection with the man, as if she had known him her entire life, she could not understand what was going on,suddenly demaria appeared again in her god form,

"do you think you could defeat me that easily??, i am the personification of the god of time Chronus!!" she said this immediately enraged naruto as he now carried a personal grudge againest the gods of this world, but before he could do anything ikki stopped him, he had a calm look on his face , but anyone who knew him could asily tell that he was infuriated to the highest degree,

"stop naruto, this lowly creature dares to call herself the god of time, by doing this she has insulted every time user in the multiverse, me included, it is time i put this pathetic creature in it's place!!!" he said to which naruto nodded,

"let's see who is stronger creature, the god of time, or the dragon of time!!" he immediately grabbed her face while using his time dragon ability to stop time, even demaria was unable move a single inch , all she could do was watch helplessly as ikki destroyed her in unimaginable ways, when he was done , demaria was nothing but a blood stain on the ground,

soon naruto spotted zeref watching everything on the top of the hill, naruto recognized him from the memories he saw from erza, he then faced zeref and said

"you want to die do you not??, child, get ready i shall grant you your wish right now!!" before zeref could say anything a booming voice resounded in the battlefield

"HUMAN PATH : SOUL EXTRACTION " immediately zerefs soul was extracted from his body which fell to ground without life, naruto then shouted

"NARAKA PATH: KING OF HELL-" before he could summon the shinigami to take the soul of the dark mage, ikki stopped him, he knew that zeref had not become the dark mage through choice, he understood that it was the false god manipulating him, when he informed this to naruto he took pity on the soul, he then used his power to bring the soul of mavis to him as well, the mages of fairy tail immediately shouted in rage as they saw their first master be taken forcefully by the strange man,

naruto used his power of creation of all things to create bodies for the two souls while he also cleared the curse of ankhseram from them,

"i have given them a second chance at life, but unfortunately i do not possess the ability to manipulate the mind" he said to the shocked people on the battle field, ikki suddenly came forward and said,

"leave that part to me!!!" he immediately unleashed his ki which covered the entire solar system, he manipulated the minds and history of the planet to make it so that the dark wizard never existed in the first place, along side mavis, the only people who remembered the truth were the members of fairy tail and sabertooth, he also removed all the memories from mavis and zeref so that they could have a normal life,

after the war was over , naruto revealed himself to be the ancestor of erza, at first she was angry that he was not there to help her in the toughest times of her life but she was enraged even more when he said that he watched over her as she went through the hellish experiences ,

"then why did you intervene now, is it because you had enough fun??" she asked in a mocking way , to which naruto replied,

" i can understand that you are angry but , you needed tot experience those things to build up your character and wisdom, after all i cannot have my descendant be ignorant to the world, besides even if i wanted to ikki would not allow me to intervene!!" he said while glaring at ikki who averted his eyes, "WHY????" she asked to which he sighed and said,

"because if i let naruto intervene there was no way you would have grown as strong as you are today, and also i needed him to control his emotions because i know for a fact that he will be all over you in an overprotective father mode the moment i let him loose, i am sure you would be creeped out at that and will distance yourself from him which would break his heart, that is something i can't allow because he is like a brother to me" ikki said to which naruto showed a grateful smile while erza nodded in understanding while on the inside she was jumping in joy to have a real father in her life,
