Self Proclaimed Genius

The gang made it's way to the restaurant. They sat down in an empty booth and looked at the menu. The restaurant had a vintage look and it gave a welcoming feeling. They decided to order penne pasta with white sauce, margarita pizza, some nachos and burgers.

Shanaya was a big foodie and a lots of everything. All of them were very curious of Shanaya's life in India. So, they asked her a lot of questions about it. Shanaya answered them with excitement. She also wanted to know the difference in cultures in India and China.

Shanaya came to know a lot about her group of friends too. She learned that Mo Wanwan was the twin sister of Mo Lanfeng. She had a suspicion of it but it still surprised her when they confirmed it. Both of them had such different personalities that one could never think they were related. Jun Yan was going to take over his family business of software and technology so he had amazing coding and hacking abilities. Shanaya too had good computer skills so she wanted to have a talk with him and compare notes. Nan Qinqin wanted to become an actress and did not agree with the old traditions that her family followed. Lan Ping would look like a happy-go-lucky person at first but he actually was a very straightforward and rational person. Lin Jinling was a aloof and cold hearted person but deep inside she was a caring and loving girl. Qin Qing was a kind person but when the situation presented itself, he would become ruthless.

Most people wouldn't be able to judge a person like this. It was only because of Shanaya's high IQ and intuition was she able to judge them so accurately. She genuinely wanted to become close with these group of friends.

All of them finished their meal and were ready to head back home. As the hotel was not that far from her house, Shanaya decided to walk back home. It was just a 20 minute walk. As she walked back there were many people gaping at her bu she did not notice them. She was oblivious to her beauty. By the time she reached home it was 8:00 pm. It was pretty late in the evening and almost time for dinner. Shanaya decided to take a bath first as she felt sticky and dirty. She quickly took a bath and changed her clothes. By that time dinner was ready. She made her way to the dining table and sat down. The rest of the people were already seated on table.

Mrs. Lu asked her about her day. She told her, "My day was amazing! I made a lot of new friends and all of us got along very well. We even went to eat at a hotel later and got to know a lot about each other." Mrs Lu asked her a lot of questions about her friends. Meanwhile Yifeng was staring daggers at her. he thought 'she made me wait and was having so much fun herself. how bold'

After dinner, Shanaya went to her room and finished her homework. It hardly took her 30 minutes. She then got up and started reading a book for advanced concepts in science that they would be learning in college. Suddenly someone barged into her room. BANG! Shanaya calmly looked at the person who entered the room without knocking. It was Lu Yifeng!

"Lu Yifeng " she got up and told him expressionlessly " Entering one's room before knocking is considered rude. Please learn some manners." Then she turned around and walked to her desk completely ignoring him. Yifeng was speechless. No one had ever ignored him before much less tell him to mind his manners. It took him a few minutes to wake up from his daze and walk over to her desk and slam his hand on her table. She acted as if nothing happened and continued reading her book. "SHANAYA!" he roared at her.

She did not respond so he snatched the book out of her hand. She glared at him and he felt a chill down his spine. she told him in a low tone that sounded as if came from the depths of hell "I suggest you hand me back my book this instant before you regret it. " Yifeng looked at the book ignoring the chill he felt . It was an advanced science book. he scoffed at her, " What are you reading? Do you even understand a word written over here? ha ha. Don't act like a genius when you aren't one". Shanaya said, "Who are you to know what I am or not? I don't think you know me well enough to judge." He then told her "If you can answer 3 of my questions I will agree that you are a genius if not you will have to become my pet for the rest of your life. " Shanaya looked at him and said "Why should I agree to you?" He held the book out and smirked evilly "If you do not...you can say goodbye to your precious book. " She thought for a while and said "Deal"

By this time Lu Yifeng forgot his original purpose of coming to her room.
