13 CHAPTER 18

After she leaves, she removes her gown and puts on her bathrobe and lays on her back, waiting for her massage. After sometime, when the maid comes back to inform that, she will be coming a bit late, she goes near the window to watch outside and says the maid to leave. She opens up her hair and takes her glass of wine. While drinking it, a piece of glass gets accidentely gets stuck in her finger and she exclaims. She tries to take it out but is afraid to do it. She runs out of the room and bumps into Empephus.

Empephus: I'm really sorry...

Darcy(red face): Can you help me?

Empephus, seeing her in that look made his face crimsoned and he knew that wasn't very comfortable with girls.

Empephus(flushing): Yes what happened?

Darcy shows him her finger

Empephus: I'm sure that your room has a first aid

Darcy: Yes come...

Empephus goes in with embrassment and makes her sit near the window and takes off the piece of glass of her hand, wipes off the blood and then rubs the wounded area with ointment and puts a bandage.

Empephus: Good now?

Darcy: Better. Thanks again

Empephus: Again?

Darcy(sleepy): Sorry I feel a bit drowsy

Empephus: You may change and go to bed

Darcy: Why in a hurry? Can't you stay?

Empephus: Huh I need to leave, madam

Darcy(grabbing him towards her): Please stay for a bit more while. We can talk

Empephus(uncomfortably): What can I do..?

She pulls him very close to herself and kisses him. He is a bit stunned

Empephus: Huh... madam, I think it's...uhm

Without even listening to him, she went on kissing him and this time, he didn't refuse and went for it. After it, both looked at each other and smiled

Darcy: Ever kissed before?

Empephus: Ahh...

Darcy(keeping a hand on his shoulder): Hah. That's cute but you really lack social skills

Empephus: Ouf.. really?

Darcy: You don't have to worry, I can help you with that...if you want to

Empephus: I would love to...

Darcy: Please come tomorrow

Empephus: I will. Have a good sleep

Darcy(waving her hand): Bye bye see ya!!

Empephus watches both the ways and goes back to his lab. He tries to sleep but that incident revolves in his mind and he smiles madly. After he left, she smiles and talks to herself, 'He is really a kind one'. After few moments, she gets to change her attire but while she gets to wear, she hears someone..

Quinn: Why didn't you....

As she sees him, she turns back

Quinn: Huh I'm sorry...I thought that..

Darcy(shy): What are you doing here?

Quinn: Sorry your door was open...don't take me wrong. I know that you sleep at late night.

Darcy: Well I was going to sleep, you can leave now

Quinn: Good night, dear. Don't worry I didn't see any of that...

Darcy: Yes yes, leave now...aghh

Quinn: By the way, you got really nice curves...

Darcy: Thank you..now go and close the door. Good night!

He closes the door and leaves. She quickly changes her dress and goes to bed. She speaks to herself, 'That kiss was the best one'. So pure...awww..love him

The next day....

7:45am

There was a gun firing event in the sky, where the prince's and princess's family, many chiefs and ministers were present outside their palace. A pleasant morning was made through melodious songs and their national anthem. Bunting of various flags were all over the city buildings.

8:30am- Breakfast

The perfect breakfast was laid on the table- scotch eggs, potatoes and sausages, toasts, beans, muffins, porridges and a cup of tea for everyone. Other staff and visitors were served the same menu and they loved it.

10:00am

The messengers went to the city to send the invitations. People were delighted at the invitation because they would get a chance to visit the palace and if lucky meet them.

Meanwhile at forest, a huge portion owned by them was used for hunting games. His Pregus, the Pegasus was one of the best in the stable. While Quinn was hunting, others saw him from the air balloon in the sky.

Alina(shouting): Kill the biggest Morkod, son

Quinn(inserting his arrow): Of course...I will. Bigger....there it is

He aims and shoots the biggest in the herd.

Quelin: Fantastic aim

Kaiphos: But I think he missed...

After he goes near it, it stands up and tries to attack him with it's horns but the prince being agile, dodged it easily and went on shooting several arrows and finally killed it. He then climbs on it and then breaks his horns.

Quinn: Rahhh!! Got you!!

Everyone in the balloon were clapping

Darcy: Hooh ho!!

Quelin: The soldiers will take care of it

Kaiphos: Hmm the horns must be weak

Quelin: Stop commenting...

Quinn(giving flying kisses to Darcy): Wait I'm coming up there, my love

He sits on Pregus and flies towards them but while flying, is attacked by a group of Griffins. They attacked his horse and he crashed to the ground and now they were trying to attack the balloon too.

Quinn(swollen knee): Aghh no!!

The king and Kaiphos tried to fire at them but they pulled off their guns with their legs and injured the king with their claws. They failed and everyone up there shouted for help.

Alina: Are you alright?

Lyra: Help!! somebody help....we have been attacked
