The Secret sanctuary

After a two-hour flight, they finally reached the outskirts of their destination. Lamar looked out the window in front of him was a Large coastal city surrounded by many mountains. He turned towards Black canary asking "Is this where the base is?"

"Yes We have arrived in Rhode Island, this City is called the Happy harbor. You will be staying in our base here for a while until we have a league meeting on your situation."

"Will I be able to travel around the city?" asked Lamar he didn't want to stay in the base he would much rather be exploring outside.

Green arrow fiddling with his beard spoke up "Kid we are trying to keep you and the public safe so for awhile u won't be able to leave the base until we know about your powers and origins."

"How long until the meeting? I don't want to be stuck in your base for long." Lamar asked in a dull tone.

Green arrow smirked and replied, "let's hope it's not the too long kid."

"Prepare to Land." Black canary voiced out.

she started pressing Multiple controls on the command board. She turned towards Lamar and told him to put his seat belt on. Lamar complied.

Black canary spoke out, "AI Activate Invisible mode."

From the exterior, the ship became completely hidden. The ship flew down towards the city gliding over it for a bit before turning, disappearing into the mountains range nearby. Lamar watched with some amazement as a part of the mountain split open like a sliding door allowing the ship to fly directly inside and land.

Green arrow got up from his seat telling Lamar to follow. Walking out of the ship He got a good view of the massive Hangar they were in. The place was kinda Dusty and besides a couple of other landing pads in it, it was practically empty.

"Where is everybody at?" Lamar asked Green arrow.

Green arrow responded, "This base is The Secret sanctuary one of the First Justice league bases. We used it as our headquarters for a while but the justice league needed to expand so we moved out."

"Oh ok. Where will I be staying?" Lamar nodded his head and asked. Green arrow didn't reply waving his hand signifying Lamar to follow.

They hopped on an Elevator. Green arrow pressed a button and the car started moving downwards. Lamar was Quiet lost in His thoughts.

The elevator door finally opened up revealing a comfortable area. Looking around Lamar saw multiple couches and A very large Flat screen TV Inside of a wall. In the back of the room was a very nice kitchen with clean counters and a fridge.

Green arrow walked ahead of Lamar eventually turning around and facing him with a smirk, "This is where you will be staying the fridge and cabinets are fully stocked with cooking supplies. There are bedrooms in the back. If you get bored you can use the TV over there I know you kids like your Vidoe games."

"Thanks, Green arrow. can you tell black canary and superman Thanks for the help too?"

"No problem, it's a part of the job."

Green arrow was about to walk out before turning around and saying, "Oh, I forgot every once in a while members will show up to check up on you."

Lamar watched as Green arrow waved goodbye and left. Lamar just stood there alone for a bit.

He moved to the kitchen he started opening all the pantries eating everything he could find, as he was eating he never felt full. He discerned That he could chow down food forever.

'This is a gift and curse. I can get hungry but never feel full it doesn't bother me at all though strange. Probably my Alien physiology.'

'What's my species?' He was once again lost in his thoughts he decided to stop eating and calm himself with a shower.

He walked down the hallway and went inside one of the bedrooms he opened the closet door and took a white combat training suit out.

After grabbing the suit he went inside the restroom. He turned towards the mirror and was looking at his features. He was a dark-skinned teenager with long black dreads and light brown eyes. He was standing about 5'8 inches, but what really took him by surprise was his muscular and lean physique hidden under the shirt he was wearing.

"Dang this is me?"

He kept looking at himself taking notice of his pearly white teeth. He was very excited he almost forgot about holding his strength back and left some cracks on the counter. After taking a shower he wanted to test his powers and see if he has anything else besides Superstrength, speed, senses, and durability.

Wearing the white training suit he walked out of the lounge area and started traveling around the Secret sanctuary. He saw some interesting things like a large library, a Trophy room, and a workshop.

He wondered what league members use those rooms but what he was trying to find was a training room.

Eventually, he did a room titled ''The gymnasium." He walked in, the sliding doors closing behind him. Looking around he saw workout equipment. walking over to the dumbbells rack it had the normal weights such as 5lbs all the way to 100lbs but besides that, there were even dumbells that weighed 10,000lbs.

Looking at the two 10,000lbs dumbles. Lamar said to himself "I gotta curls these."

He grabbed them both and lifted them above his head not being careful with his strength They shot towards the ceiling before tearing through it like paper. the dumbells momentum did not stop before slamming through multiple floors with a Loud bang.

"Ah Damn." Lamar thought to himself.
