Earth's Mightiest Mortal!

Lamar's blow connected with Shazam's chin sending the hero's body stumbling backward.

In an explosion of speed, Lamar reappeared behind Shazam sending out a devastating sidekick at his unguarded side.

Shazam with his inhuman reaction time raised his hands up to protect his flank before the kick landed.

An earsplitting bang rang out.

His body soared threw the room like a kite with no string. Shazam caught himself midair using his ability to fly and landed back on the ground.

With a silly smile, Shazam said. "Wow, you hit hard."

"I know," Lamar replied with some excitement from across the room.

Shazam disappeared from his previous position reappearing right in front of Lamar throwing a jab at him.

Lamar's hands wrapped around shazam's outstretched fist quickly turning his own body around and throwing shazam over his shoulder.

"A judo throw." thought shazam with a goofy grin as his head was approaching the ground and incredible speeds. He used his free hand and flipped his body midair effectively breaking out of the Judo throw with a summersault.

Lamar wasn't prepared and attempted to lower his guard as Shazam landed a heavy dropkick on his

stomach.

Doom!

Lamar felt like he got hit by a semi-truck going its top speed.

This time it was his turn to be sent tumbling across the room.

His trip ended as he smashed against the gymnasium's wall instantly denting it.

His blood was pumping even more ats this was the strongest person he fought and he couldn't say he

wasn't having a good time.

Smiling he flew out of the wreckage and shot towards Shazams position.

Shazam also shot towards Lamar at breakneck speeds.

Boom Boom Boom!

Multiple bangs rang out as they were locked in a battle of strength.

Punches and kicks flew everywhere at speeds the human eyes couldn't even process. The ground shook and the air around them was turbulent.

Lamar was blocking punches at speeds that can only be called godly. Slowly but surely he was having a harder time keeping up with Shazam's pace.

Out of nowhere, Shazam landed a tremendous uppercut on Lamar's stomach about to send the young man flying into the distance.

However with very precise movements Shazam caught Lamar by his head and was about to slam him in the floor.

Time once again slowed down for Lamar as he

couldn't shake the powerful grip from his head.

'Damn I can't lose like this.' Lamar thought while he felt his body about to slam into the floor.

At this moment Lamar felt a strange itching sensation in his eyes. He didn't know what took over his body but he let it do so.

A bright purplish-black glow forced shazam to let go of Lamar's head as he felt his hands being scorched. Two Purple black beams shot through the air burning parts of the ceiling. Shazam backed up watching in shock as he noticed the Beams coming from Lamar's eyes.

"You got heat vision!?"Shazam asked in an excited voice while looking at his charred hand.

"I guess I do now," Lamar responded also eager. He quickly stood up and dusted himself off

"What! Man, you're so lucky that's like the coolest power."Shazam responded enthusiastically.

"Really? You tanked it like it was nothing," Lamar Replied looking at Shazam's hand heal at inhuman speed.

"That's only because I'm earth's mightiest mortal."Shazam defended himself.

"So how do your powers work? If you don't mind me asking?" Lamar was interested in how shazam was so strong.

"I'm kinda powered by six mystical gods that gave me their abilities to protect the earth. That's why I'm so strong." Shazam casually told Lamar while pulling out a handheld game console.

"How do your powers work?" asked Shazam excitedly while playing the game in his hands.

"I'm an alien I guess. That's where my powers come from." Answered Lamar staring away for a second. He didn't really know how to feel about it. It was cool but he also felt like he didn't belong a little isolated.

"Bro that's awesome! Can you take me to your planet! Ooh Ooh, maybe we can go on space adventures!" Shazam replied snapping Lamar out of his thoughts.

"Space adventures? aha, bruh I mean that would be kinda cool."Lamar laughed.

"Why are you'll causing a ruckus the whole satellite was shaking I'm trying to keep watch" Booster's Gold voice rang out from the security camera.

"We just had a spar. Lamar's pretty strong," Shazam responded.

"I can see that I'm not dense. I taught the kid some moves when he first arrived so that's a given, "Booster Gold replied punching the air a bit.

'Since when?' Lamar thought.
