2 Dumbledore

"Oh, you got Dumbledore," Selena said glancing over at the card, "He's truly famous even here, being the strongest must be really nice."

Archer nodded, as he turned the card around and read:

ALBUS DUMBLEDORE

CURRENTLY HEADMASTER OF HOGWARTS

Considered by many the greatest wizard of modern times, Dumbledore is particularly famous for his defeat of the dark wizard Grindelwald in 1945, for the discovery of the twelve uses of dragon's blood, and his work on alchemy with his partner, Nicolas Flamel. Professor Dumbledore enjoys chamber music and tenpin bowling.

"Nicholas Flamel..." Archer repeated the name as he found it to be familiar for some reason, "Do you know who that is?"

"No clue." Selena shook her head, "But according to this, he must be a famous alchemist for him to work with Dumbledore."

As Archer was about to say something, there was a knock on the shop's front door. Selena and Archer looked at one another and before they could move, John came out of the shop and went towards the door. Archer thinking it was Patricia went along as well.

There was indeed a red-head at the door but it wasn't Patricia but a man. The man was tall, thin and quite handsome. His red-hair tied in a ponytail, he looked like someone who had just been out of school.

"Johnathan Wolfe?" The guy asked, "I am Bill Weasley, I am here on behalf of Ms. Rakepick to pick up Mr. Archer."

John didn't say anything as he looked back at Archer who was walking towards them. Archer didn't say anything as he just stretched his hands towards them.

As if they had an unknown understanding amongst them, Bill took out a letter from his coat pocket and handed it over to Archer.

Archer recognized the sigil in the letter but he still had to be sure so he opened the letter. In came his mother's badge of the eye of Horus and a short letter that read:

Dear Archie,

I have to initiate protocol 2. Go with the redhead for now until further instruction is provided. You know what to do, don't you? Stay Safe.

Your mother.

Archer looked at the badge carefully and as expected there was an address carved on it. Archer sighed as he got hold of his stuff.

Patricia had taught Archer a lot of things, one of them being using codes and about different Protocols. The protocol was unique to them, in case of an enemy attack so as for them to not get trapped in an enemy's ploy. Protocol 2 was code for an enemy attack and meant that Patricia was safe but needed to go in hiding because of it. It also meant that Archer was to get out of the place he was in as quickly as he could to a nearby Gringotts.

"It was good meeting you Selena." Archer nodded at the little girl and looked at John, "You too John."

"Is everything alright?" John asked.

"Yeah, it's fine."' Archer said with a smile as he walked out of the door closing it behind him, "I'll see you again if fate has it."

"Well, that was quick," Bill said as he looked at Archer, "It is really different working with someone who knows what he is doing. I thought it will seriously take a long time to convince you."

"Let's leave." Archer said, "I need to head back to the tavern first."

"We need to go..."

"I know but I have things that I can't let fall into enemy's hands alright." Archer said looking at him, "So quickly apparate us out of here."

"Yes, sir." Bill said rolling his eyes as he grabbed Archer and apparated away.

Both Bill and Archer quickly headed in for the tavern only to see the whole place a mess.

"There's no one here." The heard a man upstairs.

"We need to leave, quick." Bill panicked, "They are already here."

But as he was about to grab hold of Archer he realized the boy wasn't there anymore, "Why do I always get in this sort of mess." He mumbled looking around for Archer.

Archer had already sneaked to the second floor, where his room was. By the voices, he could tell there weren't more than 10 men in the whole tavern looking for him. Sneaking around he went towards his room, where he could see a man covered in black from head to toe, signaling his men outside that there was no one there.

The man was alone in the room but he held one thing that Archer was here for, his bag. Archer mumbled thinking what to do when he realized he had his wand now. Though he hadn't tried magic before he still knew some of the chants and the wand movements, from his mother and the couple of books he had read.

Breathing deeply, Archer moved towards the door and chanted, "Bombarda"

But unfortunately, nothing but a tiny blast occurred not even leaving a mark on the man as he grumbled and shot a spell towards him.

Being agile he quickly dodged, 'Why the hell does it look so easier when others do it?' Archer thought to himself.

Not knowing what else to do he quickly pointed at the chair near him and chanted, "Wingardium Leviosa."

Luckily this time around the spell worked properly as he threw the chair towards the man's face. The chair broke in pieces but it wasn't enough to affect the burly man as he angrily grumbled again, "You little..."

But before he could continue, the whole desk came flying towards him completely knocking him out. "I guess it's the simple spell that always works."

Archer quickly took his bag but he then heard someone behind him, "He is here."

The other men who heard the commotion quickly gathered as there were 5 men at the door pointing their wand at him. Archer looked around for a place to escape but there didn't seem to be one but luckily he heard a familiar voice, "Deprimo"

The ground the men were standing on shattered as they fell through. Bill came in quickly as he apparated next to him, then apparated away with him as quickly as he could.

Both of them landed outside in the nearby forest, heavily breathing.

"I am not really used to carrying two people." Bill said huffing, "And here I thought this job couldn't be more taxing."

"You did good." Archer huffed alongside Bill as well, "How long have you been training under my mother for?"

"What gave it away?"

"The Deprimo spell."

"Good guess." Bill said, "But I just started just a couple months ago. I was a student of hers back in Hogwarts though."

Archer knew that Patricia taught in Hogwarts for two years when he was around 6 years old due to Dumbledore asking her help in relation to some cursed rooms in Hogwarts but that was all he knew, as she never really talked about her time there.

"She talked quite a few times about you." Bill said, "Well most of the time insulting us on how her 6-year old could do a better job than us."

"That's my mom." Archer laughed a little, "How far is the nearest Gringotts?"

"Over at the next town," Bill said, "But we have to be careful, the Aurors here aren't as friendly as back home, You're fine with riding muggle vehicles, right?"

Archer nodded.

"Good then let's leave," Bill said.

After walking for a while they reached outside the forest where they took a bus.

"So what happened there exactly?" Archer asked as they finally took a seat.

"I don't have much idea about it either as I just arrived from Egypt for the same meeting as your mother did but before I knew what was going on things took a huge turn." Bill said, "Our rival group, The Alliance suddenly started demanding things to us and soon things started getting heated and a fight broke out."

"Aren't Gringotts going to do anything about it?" Archer raised his eyebrows, "Those goblins could at least control their factions."

"They kicked them out, of course, now that the Alliance betrayed us." Bill said, "But we can't do much other than wait for the Aurors to capture them."

"Wonder what has gotten in their heads."

"Treasure. It always has and will be Treasure." Bill said, "For us Curse-Breakers, that's the important thing. But that brings up more questions, like how important the treasure must be that they are willing to go rogue for it."
