2 Chapter 2 School Test

Nick grab's a pear rinses it off and start's walking over to me and says "You know you should lay low for a while. Put up the mask and chill out go to school today we have a test and everyone need's to take it." Nick says and take's a bite of his pear.

I look up at him and with the best innocent look I can manage and say "Yeah I need to take the test today because I'm the best model student oh my wear are my clothes I cant manage to be late I don't want the teachers to have a heart attack because I'm late. Please we all know what would happen if I show up on time the teacher would die of shock and I'd be arrested for murder and gain a record."

"Listen I know your not a model student and I thought you didn't care if you got arrested but come take the test at least and I'll make a deal with you if you do take the test I'll bring you to get lunch at any fast food restaurant." Nick say's as he pull's some cash out of his pocket.

"Who did you rob to get that?" I say jokingly. I walk over to my closet and say "This is a rare occasion I guess I'll wear this." I pull out a set of clothes that's all black. I walk over to my dresser and put on some deodorant and grab some gum and candy from the second draw get dressed grab a spare change of clothes like normal because of the fight's I get into. I grab my bag and head out the door. I'm glad that there's a store that sell's mechanical pencil's next to the school. As we walk by I grab a pack and throw some money on the counter show the pencils and walk away. I know the clerk they just add the change onto my account and so far I have a little over $40.00. When we walk into the class room the bell rings Mrs. Deer "OK everyone take a seat it's time to call attendance. Coda as normal is not..."

I cut her off and say "I'm here Mrs. Deer." she looks up in horror and I just smile. she erases what she put and mark's me in. she hand's out the test I finish first it took me 30 minutes considering it's multiple choice and I easily pass multiple choice. The entire school is taking the test so I just hand in the test and pull my bag up on my desk it has a cushion on the back that can be used as a pillow and fall asleep after handing Nick a note that say's wake me when your done and ready to leave. I am able to sign myself and other people out as I please. If someone want's to leave with me I can sign them out. A little while latter Nick wake's me up it took him 30 minute's more than me to finish because he likes to reread it to make sure he's positive and content with his work. I get up and we head to the door when Mrs. Deer say's "Where do you think your going you two there's a test in progress you cant walk in the hall's at this time."

I turn around and say "You are allowed to if you are signing out or someone is signing you out."

Mrs. Deer look's at Nick and say's "Who's signing you out Nicholis?" I walk to her desk and hand her a copy of the note his parent's gave me signing that I am allowed to sign him in and out of school whenever. Mrs. Deer looks up at me and say's "I would like to verify this with his parents."

I pick up my cell phone press speed dial and press Mary Martin. Nick's mom's name is Mary Martin and the school has that on record. I wait until she answer's and she say's "What's up Coda?"

"Hey Mrs. Martin..."

"Coda stop calling me that just call me Mary."

"A teacher want's to verify something about Nick so I'm going to put them on the phone."

I hand the phone to Mrs. Deer and say "It's Nick's mother so ask her."

Mrs. Deer takes the phone and say's "Hey Mrs. Martin Dakota handed me a note that has your signature but I think it's forged because it says that you give him permission to sign Nicholis out of school."

over the phone I here "Yes I gave Coda permission to sign Nick out of school so they can leave get food go home or whatever is that a problem Mrs. Deer?"

Mrs. Deer has a look of horror on her face again and say's

"Did you know that Dakota has been missing a lot of school he has not shown up for a while then shows up here today finishes the test first and wait's for Nicholis to finish and is trying to sign him and himself out of school."

I here Mary getting mad saying"I do not care if or when Coda show's up if you're calling about a note that I signed saying he can sign my son out of school I know exactly why he doesn't show up but that's none of your business anyway I told you about me signing the note now hand him the note and two passes to go sign out and give Coda back his phone good day." CLICK. I start to laugh but keep it down. Mrs. Deer gave me the most horrified look in the world and wrote two passes handed me the note and my phone.
