2 Chapter 1

"The dark unknown seemed to surround me in all it's rage but I didn't know the cause of it, whether it was a nightmare or if death had arrived a little too late "

The shackles bound his neck and wrist together in a single alignment of a thick iron chain, another one was attached to the nearby wall that caged his left ankle in a similar adornment. The prisoner on the contrary with his settings and situation had a very unreadable expression on his face , while the entirety of it was a big mess of tears, blood and bruises yet it still showed an unknown sort of resilience like he didn't want to admit the pain caused by the tortures that were being bestowed upon him like blessings from a deity of wrath and carnage. He sat there half panting for some time then continued his struggles to free himself from the obviously unbreakable binds. His struggles were like a wild beast on the the brink of death, restless and impatient yet his whole person, the physical form of it seemed like that of a dead thing, not a person, a thing, a commodity that had been used so much that it had finally lost it's purpose and was tossed out by it's owner without remorse.

The monotony of silence accompanied by the sound of utter helplessness was soon interrupted as the metal door clanked at the edge giving way for it to open, the hinges of it still creaking unable to keep the weight of the hard iron casting. The prisoner on experiencing the ear jarring noise suddenly stopped with his struggle and sat still, accumulating his senses to observe his surroundings. Given his circumstances , he looked unbelievably calm and steady, contradicting his physical state that screamed agony and pain. The person on the other hand who had just entered the cell had no intention of displaying his ruthlessness just yet, after a while of standing and staring he finally acted out the series of actions that he already had on his mind. He took off his left earring and threw it aiming near the right leg of the man. As soon as the piece of jewelry touched the ground, the prisoner's attention leapt like an eagle, his attention landing exactly at it's prey all the while not moving a single inch. The visitor had already walked closer to were "The obsidian" was caged by the excessive adornments of iron chains, that now we're bejeweling his body like a snake gobbling it's prey. He then bent down to stare at the blindfolded prisoner, then scooting a little further close to the other's ears he whispered "Run away, I'll let you escape" ,then as if nothing had happened,he turned around , walking away, his steps neither rushed nor too slow, just his usual pace of poise and pride, trodding against the concrete as he walked past the metal door, disappearing into the other world, devoid of the darkness that inhabited the prison cell.
