4 Chapter 4 Pill Master Hall and Burning Tree Sects New Young Master

Jin and Jia could be seen entering Pill Master Hall so Jin could learn how to make pills.

As they walked up to the desk they saw woman of about 30 year of age who asked them "Hello, welcome to Pill Master Hall!How may I help you." Jin looked at her and said " I would like to learn how to concoct pills." The lady, suprised that such a young man would like to learn how to make pills,said "Alright, can you please tell me your name and pill you want to learn how to make?" Jin responds "My name is Jin and I would like to learn how to make a Skeleton Hardening Pill." After hearing what Jin said she starts to write something down before going to get a pill master to teach him pill making.

" Well if it isn't the previous young master of the Burning Tree Sect. Learning how to make pills now are ya?"

A youth in light blue clothing with multiple servants around him carrying many different kinds of pills and herbs said in mocking tone.

As he said this the lady came back with an old man of about 60 years old, as he saw the youth in blue he exclaimed "Why if it isn't young master Wang! Welcome,welcome!" after he said that he turned to the lady and asked "Now, who is the fellow who wants to learn pill making?"after being asked this question she pointed towards Jin and said "That one Pill Master Kong!" The man now known as Kong turned his head towards Jin as he looked with a hint of disdain in his eyes before saying "Very well. Come with me." he turned around to leave when he heard "Wait Master Kong!" quickly pausing, Kong turned around and looked at Jin and said "Oh?I dont have all day you know! Hurry up!"after hearing this Jin turned towards Wang and said "Lets make a bet." Wang turned toward Jin and said wearily but excitedly "What kind of bet?" Jin responded by saying " If I can concoct a pill on my first try, you have to give me all the pills and herbs you have with you right now, but if I lose I will have to be your servant for a day. Deal?" after thinking it through, Wang turned towards his servants and asked "How many pills and herbs have we bought today? And how much money did we use?" one of the servants stepped up and said" Young Master, we have bought 13 different herbs , 2 of each , and 14 different pills, also 2 of each. In total we have spent around eight thousand gold today." thinking that if he didn't agree people would think he was scared, Wang turned towards Jin and said "Deal." Turning towards Kong he said "I am going to have to trouble Pill Master Kong." quickly responding, Kong said "Not at all! Not at all! Well than, if you would follow me please."

<===Pill Refining Room====>

Inside the room, a youth in white could be seen standing next to a pill furnace with a serious look on his face while beads of sweat forming on his forehead.

"Now, slowly rotate your Qi along with the herb essence then put in the Bone Essence Liquid."

Pill Master Kong said to Jin while closely looking at the Pill furnace.

"Woosh" the sound of Qi slowly rotating could be heard.

"Now this is the hardest part, start to condense the pill mixture into the shape of a pill." as he said this Pill Master Kong looked on in astonishment for about 20 minutes until he heard a few "Ting." sounds coming from the furnace. "It is done." Kong said as he walked over to the pill furnace and slowly took

a look inside then exclaimed before taking a few steps back in shock while saying " Oh my God! This...This." as Wang heard this he said excitedly "Ha, looks like I win the bet! Are you ready to be my servant for a day? You should be hap..." before he could finish Pill Master Kong turned towards Wang and said angrily "Silence!" after which he put his hand in the furnace before shakily taking out three golden pills with a strong medicinal aroma while saying with a shocked expression"Gol..Gold....Golden Pill Body!"

Jin thought this over than said "Sure!" before turning to look at Wang who is still shocked that Jin successfully made a pill, and one with a Golden Pill Body at that , as he said mockingly "I guess I won this bet, right? Wang, though still shocked, managed to stammer out "Wha..o..oh..yea...yeah...here!" as Wang finished he signaled his servants to give Jin the pills and herbs before saying "Well, I'll be going then." as he left, a shocked expression on his face, he silently vowed to get his revenge.
