6 Chapter Six: Character Creation

We just finished discussing our plan about the game. Time check... It is 7pm, perfect time to dive in. We now go to our respected area (bed room) and find a place comfortable.

I am now in my room sitting on my bed. While holding the headgear I am still thinking about the game, which makes me hard to believe that it finally come to me, my long waited dream. I rotate the headgear that I'm still holding, in the buttom left side of the gear there was a name incarved. "CIGNIUS" as I read in a soft voice, it was all in capital letters. "Is it the name of the device?" thought to myself. "Here I come..... CIGNIUS..... Surprise me" saying to CIGNIUS while having a grin smile.

I put the adapter to the power outlet and press the switch to start. I wear the headgear and lay in bed as it was in the manual. I wait for a bit more wating for the signal. Dad want us to be all together in the game. Not for long dad gave the signal, he shouted "IN!" in a loud vulgar voice. "That's the signal....." I mumble to myself. To dive in the game, according to the manual you just have to say something. "Okay now..... CIGNIUS, GAME START!" after I said the word. I started to lose consciousness afterwards I began seeing a light coming at me.

I was surprise when I saw my self. I was a ball af light floating in an empty white space. I understand as I don't have a character yet.

Then a sudden voice filled the room echoing. It was a voice of a lady.

"Welcome to a World where you can be as you want to be... Please select in this five wonderful vast world." a beautiful voice suddenly start talking.

There were a large screen appeared in front of me. It was very colorful, I really like the idea. The first choice was the "LAO", we have already decided what game we are playin so I just scrolled to the right until I find the perfect one, this game was my favorite among the five. "Arts of Fantasy Online (AFO)" I read and smile with excitement.

I am goin to press the screen but I suddenly realized that I don't have hands, I'm just a helpless light ball floating in mid air.

"How am I suppose to select?!" mumble to my self at the same time starting to get annoyed.

"Did you not read the manual?!" a voice of a lady suddenly appeared and talked as if like it was talking to me. I was shock, I didn't know that this AI can understand me as if like she is a real human. They really have done great improving stuffs in just in a shor time, I think this AI is a prime.

(Note: Prime is called to those things that are supposed to be in the future Or simply means, to those things that are in advance like AI's that have free will like humans.)

"I did but---" I am goin to give her an explanation but she suddenly interrupted.

"Tsk tsk tsk... Teenager nowadays, they just do and use things as they like not even knowing atleast simple instructions and informations about it." she says in dissapointment. "Say the name of the game you want and just add "game start"." she continue in an apathetic manner.

I was embarrased of what she was saying to me, it felt like I don't really have any idea on what's goin on.

"Arts of Fantsy Online.....game start?" I totally say it in an asking tone. I just follow her instructions, I don't know any of this and it's also not in the manual .... or did I just forget it?.

Then after I said the word a light flashed.

I'm still a ball of light but now I'm in a room full of images about AFO.

"You have picked "Arts of Fantasy Online" as your game world"

"AFO, Arts of Fantasy Online. A world in the era of still existing magic. An old age of King and Queens, Kingdoms and villages, myths and legends, swords and magic. I think it is the the same woman, and why did she suddenly changed her attitude?."

"Please fill up this form to create your character. Be cautious, that you can't change your Personal Character Data (PCD) once your character creation is finished, or you just have to delete your account and restart again from the beginning. Be careful in making decisions as it will be your lifetime character." she still continue.

Then a big screen just pop up in front of me.

It's like a Bio-Data but different. "Well, so I just have to fill this one" I mumble to myself. I already plan for this one, so I don't have to worry for what I am goin to choose.

After I finish filling up the data. Without warn, the "womans voice" appeared again.

"When you are done with your Personal Character Data.... Just say the world that you pick and then add "link start".... That's all for today, HAVE FUN LIVING IN YOUR SECOND LIFE AND ENJOY PLAYIN..." after that "womans voice" told me something the place became dead, I mean very Qiuet.

"It's really qiuet, it's creeping me out. It means that my character creation is finished now I just have to say that word that the "womans voice" told me amd find out what gonna happen next. Maybe I'll be transported again into another empty space, no help thinking it lets just find out." I was literally talking to my self.

And suddenly makes me think about something. "I hope they memorize what I've gave them.....Naaaaaaa, I think they will do just fine on their own."

"ARTS OF FANTASY ONLINE... LINK START!!!!" I shouted comfortably loud as I know that no one will hear me.

"How annoying!...." or maybe I thought.

Fantasy imprint will be installed oonplayer's body in 5 minutes, please wait... Installation complete.

Your voice and some of your appearance will be used the same as the one in real life, your real face is also compulsory, pain intensity is reduce to 30% as it may kill people if pain will be similar as like in real life, the game is in full realism, happy playing.
