14 13. Why Me!

When I opened my eyes I was very astonished. He fulfilled his promise to always protect me, I am so happy, my savior is here to rescue me.

Lord Loite made me rest beside a tree where I watched him deal with those monsters.

Are they tailing me because they found their pair in me? or maybe there is a connection that bound us together because the last time I felt their presence before the tree fell on me. Are they stalking me each time the monster in me leads me to this land?

I leaned back feeling happy, even though my happiness was not genuine at least for once, I saw someone who stood for me. I wished this moment can repeat itself when I had lost hope, He appeared like a warrior and fought for me!

I have never seen that in my life, I was so excited watching someone stand for me, I rested back with all satisfaction, this assured me that 'I worth fighting for' what no one had ever done for me!.

I tried laughing at those goons but my body ached and I was feeling dizzy.

Suddenly a creature appeared in front of me, I was so restless that I couldn't notify Lord Loite... He was busy torturing them before he turned to me, I have been captured by the creature and in no time it fled with me.

I heard him crying out my name but the creature held me tightly that I was so helpless in its grasp.

I felt him nearer but suddenly the creature turned back and flame came out of its mouth attacking Lord Loite.

I saw his wings burning and he lost his balance, all my hope of being saved vanished.

Where is this monster now, a coward and doormat monster who kept disappearing whenever I needed her.

Now my only savior had died before my very eyes and I couldn't help, I wept bitterly...

"Why me!"

"Will my Father ever see me again?"

I cried until it flew higher and later I lost strength,

"Save me!" This is all my heart could say.

Later, I woke up to find myself on a king-sized bed, beside me was a young man sitting next to me with his hands holding and patting my left hand as he stared at me like waiting for me to wake up.

I was astonished that many thoughts ran through my mind. I knew I did lose so much blood in the woods which is why I'm so afraid that I might have lost maybe 5years out of my lifespan again.

  "Where am I?" I asked him, my voice quivered.

  "You are in my villa" He replied almost before I completed my statement.

"In your villa?"

"Who are you?"

"What am I doing here?"

"How am I here?"

"What hap..."

He cuts in with a cold but calm face, "I will answer all your questions just relax" he said.

My body felt calmed on hearing him. But my mouth agape when my eyes met with his that I became dumbfounded, almost drooling over his appearance, space in-between my lips was enough for flies to enter.

He has a greyish eyes lens with well-arranged eyelashes, his long nose perfectly fits his broad and oval face, my throat gulps when his pink lips gleam at me.

He curled it more than I shut my eyes, I was too mesmerized by his charming appearance. I haven't seen someone look so handsome as him before, maybe because I haven't encountered so many guys.

Shutting my eyes brought me back to reality.

I felt him chuckled and his reflection seemed standing up from the bedside, with this I opened my eyes to breathe which I had held in for so long. I exhaled profusely letting the hot breeze out then stared up at him.

His long curled hair fell over to his face making him look more charming as he packed it up and left some strands of hair to fall over his ears.

  "Do you have particles in your eyes that caused you to shut them in haste?" He muttered.

Omg! we just met for the first time, why these formal words? besides, he looks young like my age mate, can't he be respectful?

"Or am I too handsome to behold?" He added making a witty smile which made me giggled, he is kind of insane.

  "Uhn... Uhn" I cleared my throat, "Nothing happened to me, besides I wasn't staring at you" My anger fumed.

He moved his face closer to mine and I jerked back immediately, "So, can you tell me why you are lost in thought and the reason your eyes were fixed on me? since you aren't staring at me?!" His voice seemed commanding like those warriors I watched on Tv.

  "Cause I did not know why the hell I'm here! Answer all my questions before I call cops here!!!" I replied in the same tone as his.

He stood up and started laughing out loud like a crazy guy.

Why the hell is he laughing?! I became mute realizing my last statement was meaningless as I recalled it in my head.

He suddenly glanced at me with a scary face, "I rescued you in the forest, or else you would have ended up been killed" He yelled.

I replied immediately, "Liar!!!" I yelled back at him. "The man fighting was there to rescue me but you kidna...."

I paused, this small thing rescued me in the woods? when was that? I only saw Lord Loite. Probably he reduced me after I passed out.

"Rescued me, you said?"

"How?"

My cheeks almost burst into some fake smiles.
