3 'The Hidden Secret'

The night was glowing and mysterious. The full moon shun it's best and the stars sparkled brightly though covered by the angry, dark clouds. The harsh breeze quickened it's pace, as if to match with Chang Lee who couldn't rest till he reached the spot.

He spotted the large rime tree. As he was pacing towards the tree, he kept making it clear to his mind.

"Yes! I need to hide it, before the invaders could lay their hands on it!"

He began to dig under the rime tree, deeper and deeper until his shovel hit something.

"Ting...gg"

He spotted the skeleton. He cleared it from dirt and mud and got a better view of it.

The skull had thick eye sockets and brow ridge. Broad mouth and cheekbones, but the jaw....its missing. And the other bones made it look like, he had a well built, massive body.

" This definitely is not human remains, hence I'm sure that it'll have a high importance.....All I can do now is...hide it well! Well enough....that no one will ever find it!....where will I hide it?...Yes! I got it!....Yes... there's no better place other than that!"

He carefully gathered the remains into the sack and started heading north towards his house. He walked further... towards its backyard. He went a little bit more into the woods and he started searching towards his left. After shoving several branches and trees, he finally found the abandoned well.

He opened the covering of the well and brought up the sack with the skeleton, raised the sack and he finally left his hold from it.

"Thud..."

It fell deep in.

Chang Lee made the surroundings well like it was before... untidy and shabby and started leaving the place.

As he moved forward he mumbled,

" Yes, I have done it! I'll make sure no invaders touches it....

...Even if this secret has to die with me!"
